[Resolved]  SBI India — why INTER CITY CHARGES for SBI bank????????

what the hell is this, i opened my sbi account in college away from my home town, now m working in another town and i cant go everytime to deposit money in same branch..
I have lost upto more than 1000 rs. In these years for intercity 'sbi' to 'sbi' transfer..
Shame on u SBI.

intercity charges even for deposit of cash is irritating. this not happening in other bank being a government bank and applying charges like this is not fair.

SBI deducting Inter City Charges in Cheque clearing & also in Transfer.

I have submitted the check of 11590 of my salary and SBI withdrew 110 rs from my account so it not fare this is happen this time only with me before this I have submitted so many check but nothing going wrong SO why this time only I cant Understand What Can I do For This ...?

SBI Tiny is charging 25 Rs on 500 amount, they have charged me 50 rs coz i have sent 1000 rs to my family member because it was very urgent...

SBI is now cheating when i visited sbi branch at andheri mumbai (Branch code 539). so met person told me to visit nearest SBI tiny office so that they can charge on me. what a foolishness i dont know what indian government is doing and what SBI officers is doing.

yes agreed why sbi is deducting so much inter branch charges. Also the amount is not fixed. Once they charged rs 25 for depositing in pune and after some days again a cheque was deposited in sangli (in maharashtra only), i was shocked to see inter branch charges deduction of rs 110/-. Why such charges and why difference in charges also

Thank god ! I became aware of this hidden charge (Inter city Charge) of the State Bank of India, at the time of depositing small amount i.e, Rs. 500, thinking that I am not required to pay any sort of charges for depositing such meagre amount.

SBI one of the biggest bank in India...is a wast bank. stop doing nonsense thing, even privet banks are not charging for inter-city or inter-branch transaction, so why the hell SBI is doing this thing, i will be my suggestion to all friend's and others that don't open a/c in SBI...

very disappointed with sbi for inter city charge... its really bad... i[censored] wont stop this, sbi will lose their customers...

Dear SBI,
I've planned to close my vadiveeswaram branch account, SUDHAN RAM C, [protected]. As i'm losing Rs.25 as the inter back charges for every transaction. At the first time, it's too much in approving the account that has been added to third-party account in Internet banking. I've lost so much of money due to this transaction charges. So next month onwards i've going to quit my account.

As per SBI Tiny launch details they say they have launched it mainly for underprivileged who dont know how the fill the challan to deposit money in SBI accounts.

No where its written compulsory to deposit below Rs.10000 only in SBI Tiny counter.

Then why the hell bank staffs send customer to SBI Tiny Counter.

SBI please look in to it or you will lose the customer.

Even Govt banks also nowadays start cheating customers. Now SBI also start charging for everything like limited transactions, intercity charges pass book printing and everything. I am 20 years account holder of SBI.

SBI giving ATM card to customer to minimize there work. But for ATM card also they were charging amount for annual fees.

I did not understand about this, I diposited 29000 on a kolkata branch but my ac is on the s 24 pgs branch, i saw only 58 rs deduct from my ac, so sad, i want to close my account . rbi need to start porting facility.

Actually when I took up the matter with the Chairman, GM(customer service), GM(NW2)Chennai, and AGM (LHO Coimbatore) asking for their clarification /justification for this charge in the context of an RBI circular dated July2013 which advises all banks in unambiguous language not to levy such charges, none of the abovesaid authorities fro SBI came forward to offer their clarification /justification. Even after 3 months I have been replied "we are working on it-(one page circular)". It is clear that SBI is "working on how to fool and fleece the customers for the last 3 months by looking for ways to circumvent the RBI guidelines" . Left with no choice I have taken the RTI route to make them mend their ways.

Why SBI charges high rate for inter city cash deposit????. Recently i deposited Rs 500/- in non- home branch of SBI, for this they deducted Rs 50/- as service charge ie, 10% of the total deposit.

Remember this type of SERVICES by SBI, definitely leads a huge reduction in their customer base.

Why the State bank of india is taking INTER CITY CHARGES for depost money to account in non home branch.
Please stop this charge otherwise nobody will deposit money to sbi.
Becareful with SBI. and becareful SBI for this charges otherwise you will lost your custmores

your services are good but you are charging 50rs for deposit of 2900rs in non home branch this is not fair you may not do like this if you continue charging like this people may choose other banks so try to lessen the intercity charges in sbh we dont have this type of charges sbh services are good and the best than others so please try to solve this problem

I am using sbi account plz tell me how to stop the sbi inter charges...
