[Resolved]  SBI - Internet banking — Activation Problem

Sir,

I got my internet banking kit from my branch 10 days ago. But till now i am not able to login. It says "Invalid username and passowrd". And it also says "Enter valid account no. and branch name" whenever i try to lodge an online complaint in the "Trouble logging in" section..
Plz activate my online banking account as soon as possible because i am working in a remote village in assam,the nearest sbi branch being 30 kms away and the only way to access my sbi account quickly is through gprs,which i luckily manage to get there...

Recently i have recived the Kit and the problem remains the same - every time I login in I get the message of Invalid User Name and password . Calling customer centre is of no use, as they always direct to go to the home branch for any issues and are very script bound without any solution .

Actually i want to use sbi internate banking but there is a little bit problem i am not able to open it. Because i dont no user name

SBI — internet banking problem

What is the reason for having Internet banking option in SBI? It is not at all working! could not able to open a page n login to c the account details.Very worst service, maintenance.Customer service number will always be busy.The only way to access our account is to go the branch n hav to look.!
I am having internet banking facility from sbi bank, but when i wanted to book ticket on irctc.com using my account.There is following problem which arised

Two weeks back, i applied for internet banking account. i got id and password on same day from bank. they said that account will be activated within 2 days but still i am waiting for it.
whenever i try to login on onlinesbi.com it says invalid username and password. i ask about to my bank they said "thr is problem on site" . then why it not specify on web site.

I got my Internet Banking Kit long ago, but when ever i tried to Login it always gives me the error "Invalid Username or Password". It is still there even after getting the Kit approx. two months ago. Is SBI serious towards providing class services to its customers? It is opening new branches, adding customer base but providing nothing on the name of the Service to its customers. Moreever, when ever you visit the bank branch (I am taking the example one of the MAIN branch of Ludhiana), no body is there to listen to the complaint of the customer. All are the old staff, just depends on ONE YOUNG employee to do all there task. May GOD bless us the poor customers of SBI with some what of good service...
I had applied for internet banking with SBI a week ago i.e. on 24.01.2009 and got the “Ready to use kit” on the same day, at that time they assured me that ID & password will be activated within 24 hours but whenever I try to login with the site onlinesbi.com it says invalid username or password. When I contacted to my branch they told inadvertently we placed another kit number for activation vis-à-vis to your account & trying to correct it.I made many complaints to my branch manager at SBI, Jayamahal Extension Branch, Bangalore. I mailed & called her but he is yet not been able to take care of it & despite my huge request they told me escalate the matter we don’t have any issue. I also mailed SBI internet Banking department but got no response. At this juncture, I feel totally let off & feel sorry to learn that Country's largest bank offers such poor services and has no customer liability.
