[Resolved]  SBI Verified By VISA Service — Cannot Register Debit Card

SBI has introduced so many features/facilities that attracts alot of customers ! BUT its seems all the features are only goods or means for adds!!! or readings!!! or to appease their corporate body!!!
Like visa card customers are also helpless! in the same way the issuer bankSBI are also helpless! they introduced something that they themselves dont know!!!

i too have this problem i try to register in visa.. it says your are not able to register . i given correct details..how to solve this issue

i have sbi vishwa yatra (visa electron) card, I want to make international calls so I am downloading and activating actionvoip through internet to call easy and cheaply.for that we have to activate to through visa electron card but whenever we are registering it shows error.. I am getting main problem in security code, I got 8letters for web pin but in actionvoip giving option of only three letters for security code to activate through visa electron, please suggest me how to makeover this problem and let me know that pin code and security code is same or not?

A word of advice to all. when ever you register thro online website, they may ask for your ATM-PIN, phone# and email for verification. After verification is done please do change the ATM PIN and email address for your safety of your account. If possible i[censored] have multipe mobile #, change mobile # also :) :)

I guess the writer of this notice has clearly leaked out the card#, expiry date and 3 digit CVV which are needed for online purchase.

my 3 visa debit cards r not working, unauthourised????not serviciable???what it means?pls help me.last 3 days they r blocked, pls reactivate them.

I am sbi customer and I am using sbi yuva atm cum debit card
I have been facing tje similar problem as its menioned by othere here the registration process on the sbi website after more than 50 atempts and calling the customer care over 10 times they dont even understand your problem pure idiotic incompetent people the sbi customer service is all these started when the verified by visa I.e. that 3d secure system stopped giving forgot password option on the verfied by visa website when making online payment everytime I make online transactions I compulsorily change my password and this time I have forgot my password and I unable to chane it because the forgot password option isnt there I called up the customer care 5 times about this issue finally one person says u have to register your card on the VBV(verfied by visa) then it will give you option of password change!!!
All this while online transaction was happening normally I asked him why is this been done he said its rbi regulation!!!
Then more of misery started after nearly 50 atempts to register on SBI VBV website I am complain now sir.
again 5 times I have called the sbi customer care service and they told nonsense procedures which dont exist on thier website.
then they told to register complaint on the website which doesnt work as mentioned by many people above.
finally they changed the tone to server is down!!! 3 days sbi server is down???
India'S largest bank server going down is ridiculous that to for 3 days and height of ridiculousness is that they havent fixed it yet passed 15 days I am not able to make any online transaction of the pure incompetentness of these sbi.
sincere request please take action asap!!!

When I make on-line payment I am redirected to 3d secure page. And there displays that the visa service is temporarily unavailable. Please help me in this regard.

It is very true, that the website which is given by the bank t"verify the visa "link is not open anywhere anytime .
It is so unfare, that we issue the atm debit card for online transaction and we are not geting proper service from sbi.please help us to solve this problem.

I am Sunil, I was also trying to registered for vbv 3d security but that link was disabled at Sbi.co.in. What I think since all online transactions are linked with OTP, unless we use OTP transactions wouldn't be completed. That's is 3d security, further no need to registered for Vbv ...online... Delete your otp as soon as transaction is completed.

Also SBI debit card cannot be used on play store and sites like udemy.com cannot use on the sites where is direct pay method only be used on the sites where it redirects to merchant page

I face the same problem, trying to get Verified by Visa for SBI Visa debit card. The link leads to an error page. Have been trying for 2 months.

Will SBI wake up and help their unfortunate customers who chose to bank with them? See the number of complains on this page alone...and not a single response. Great job!

i have been trying to register for 3 D pin for the last 4 days. site is not able to open .what the hell? SBI is not resolving the problem.they dont understand how much customers are facing the problem.

Heyy I have a solution for you..Maybe you go for the transaction at your merchant's site and because of you have not registered for Verified By Visa they will direct you to the VBP registration portal

I was facing the same problem BUT
I got the solution of this problem
I tried to buy something at amazon using debit card number, it took me to payment page showing some option that if my debit card is not enabled for ecommerce or online shopping I can do that by
sending message to [protected]
with message "SWON ECOM XXXX"
where XXXX is last 4 digit of debit card number.
When I did that I immediately got sms from SBI that request for Ecommerce accepted.
Though not VBV but OTP shopping enabled... All people suffering from SBI can give this a try... worked for me
