[Resolved]  Seven Square Academy, Mira Road, Thane. — Re:School demanding extra 2 month fees with increased monthly fees structure

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to bring into your kind notice that the school (Seven Square Academy) which is situated in Mira Road-Thane, we got our daughter admitted in that school in Jr KG and now promoted in class Sr.KG. We were very assured from the school about the facilities and the quality education. But now instead of paying 12 month fees (June 08- May 09) school is demanding two month extra fees. Not only they are in process of to hike the overall school fees, they have raised school-bus rates also.
One more thing I would like to inform you that this school is just one year old. It is CBSC board affiliated school which was started last year in June-2008 and hence on their convenience they started with academic session as June to May & now they changed session as April to March. As per the previous session, they collected fees till May of this Year 2009 (inclusive of Bus & meals Charges) and after the change in session again they demand fees from April to June 2009 and with audacity of proclaiming a 2-month overlapping charges would be levied and one can complaint wherever he/she may want...
So, it's intention clearly shows unethical aimed at flaying & milking the gullible parents!!!
It's a complete business built on wrong ethics and not at all educational ethics.Hope someone will take notice to put this restrictions and curb this kind of malpractices being carried out in the name of educational institutes. We are planning to write to CBSE board, Delhi and Cosumer Forum as well.

listen all of you, i am also suffering this problem AND i just want to say one thing, AB YEH LOG EDUCATION DETE NAHIN, BECHTEIN HAIN AUR YEH HUMEIN APNE BACHHON KO UNCHAI PAR DEKHNE KA SAPNA DIKHAKE HUMEIN LOOT RAHEIN HAI, ITS A GAME OF DIRTY MIND WITH POLITICAL EDUCATION.
A) My complaint about your Bus service continues. It has been going on for MONTHS now. After meeting the Miss Dipender in November, the Bus problem got resolved in DECEMBER, however it was short lived. Since Last THREE WEEKS the menace has started again. The Bus is FULL even before it reaches Poonam Garden. Our Kids LITERALLY TRAVEL STANDING to and from School. With the kind of FEES you CHARGE for such a low standard Bus Facility, now we are re-considering our decision about this School.

Talking to your Bus Supervisor- Hingavle is absolutely USELESS. He has the same excuses: Bus kharab ho gayi hai, Driver nahi hai, MMRDA se permit nahi mila. Is that the problem of the parents or the children???
If he cannot repair the Bus or get a new driver in 3 weeks, then what is the use of a Supervisor???
When you project 4500 students for the new year, did the school not have the budget for adding new buses??? I wonder Where does our Fees go then?? Despite paying FULL YEAR'S FEES IN ADVANCE, this is what we get!!!
We are not asking for BMW's or AUDI's for our kids. But should we not even get a proper Bus Facility for our kids, A PAID SERVICE And NOT CHARITY.

B) Secondly, our kids carry their own hand sanitizers/soaps to school, because apparently the school CANNOT AFFORD CLEAN AND HYGIENIC TOILETS. The School CANNOT EVEN AFFORD TO KEEP HAND WASHES/SOAPS in the Bathrooms, this is worst than CWG now.
***
Honestly, a few of the parents here at Poonam Garden have had enough with a school that is this NEGLIGENT about Children's well being. This will be the last year my child studies in such a school. And even before you take any action to resolve these issues, the summer vacations will have started. Hence, I very well know its useless to complaint. Its just like our Indian Govt, Alas!!

Subject: Re: Horrible School Bus Facility

After 2 months I am reminding you of my last email to you. This is extremely disappointing. Despite of so many complaints to you, via phone, email and personally visiting the school, there has been no change at all. Our kids are piled up in the bus everyday.
You people had forecasted last year that the number of students will increase, then why is it that the buses have not. We pay the FULL YEAR'S Fees in ADVANCE, and NO SYSTEMATIC service in return??? The condition of kids in the school bus is equivalent to the BEST Commuters.

I anticipate to listen from someone responsible and also a permanent solution to this daily problem.

Location: Poonam Garden
Bus No# 6.

Subject: Bus Facility

Dear Transport Supervisor,

This email is in reference to the previous verbal complaints about the bus facility provided to children in and around Poonam Garden area.

I have personally called your office a few times to bring to your notice that the Bus number-6 is not sufficient for the increased population of SSA students residing around the above mentioned location. Our kids have to either stand or are left with no choice but get cramped up on seats that would not accommodate more than 2 kids. They carry heavy bags and it is very annoying since kids reach school tired and frustrated.

A month ago I was assured that another bus will be arranged to take care of this issue, however there has been no result. Could you please look into this urgently and arrange for an extra bus asap.

I look forward to your response in this direction.

Best Regards,
Heena
Dear All,

Dear friends,
I am shifting to Mira road, my child in CBSC, so I want a good CBSC school in mira road, so this is a good school, please help me on my mail ie
[protected]@gmail.com

Thank you
Seven Square School of mira road is the most pathetic school in mumbai / thane. Even though after having high fee structure they still need extra on the name of annual functions and school picnic. After charging almost more than 45000 annually, can't they cheap in for annual functions cost from their end. That Annual functions that they conduct is purely for their own advertisement purpose and even for that they put on compulsory charges for school kids. MAYOR OWNING THE SCHOOL IS RUNNING IT WITH POLITICAL MIND FOR MORE MONEY. Who the hell gives the permission to politicians to run educational firm????? Cant they keep it out of education for God sake.

I even experienced that class teachers of pre-primary schools are not too qualified to train the students who is almost paying 4000/month for the school fees.

There was a school meet for parents where they were promoting the facts how they manage the students in school, like the way they teach, the kind of food they serve, etc. One poor guy raised his concern that as he was not able to pay fee for some reason and need one month from the due date, the class teacher did not let the Jr. KG kid go home by his bus and made him wait in the class so that parent can come to pick him and then they can ask money for his fees. Instead getting his answer, his concern was bluntly avoided saying we can talk about this later time. Couple of stupid parents were praising the school and it's benefits and the way they were praising in fluent language completely indicated it is scripted and were fake parents bought by school.

I removed my child from school understanding the fact that instead of paying 4000/month on him alone, i can get him good education by paying 2000/month to other good schools in same area and spent other 2000/month for kids who cant study due to financial issues.

Hope the solutions comes out soon.

THE BEST PART IS .. IT IS STILL NOT AFFILIATED FOR CBSE BOARD

queen mary's high school — fees & its penalty

The school is increasing the fees every year and if the fees is getting late they are charging penalty of Rs. 60 per month and the behavior of the staff is also not good with parents.
Dear Alka,

Is your ward still studying in the same school, or you have switched her to the other, and which school would you recommend at this place.

Regards,

Parent
We have a bad experience of this school, every year they increased bus charges and school feed, approx 50 thousand they are charging for 2nd standard but on each festival or activity they also charging the fees. We are paying a huge amount to them but after this on their annual function they are charging Rs. 400-500 for dress, but why ? if they celebrating their annual function then they are not capable to arrange dress on hire basis on their cost? Before some months back they send the paper to collect the funds for Seven Eleven hospital, my daughter given approx Rs 3000 to them, but today i surprised that on occasion of 15 august they invited some selected children to celebrate this day but they not given a single chocolate/sweet to children on this occasion, they are doing only business and they want to know how to take money from parents . Very shame .

Worst management in Seven Square academy mira road, they all are thief . before some days back my wife went to my native place due to some serious family issue and she requested to principal and management that take meal fees of one month and provide the meal for 15 days to my child because no one is available at home for cooking, but school refused the request and told if you want meal for 15 days then you have to pay fees for 6 months, they told that principal asked for 6 months meal charges .Now we are feeling that we admitted our daughter in wrong school, they all are thief, no single parent are satisfied .
At annual function this year (Jan 2014) they crossed the limit of cheapness. In spite of charging additional Rs 600 for annual day they give only 1 packet of snacks. for one child generally both parents attend the function. This is not about that 20-25 ruppes snacks but the thinking of school management. It is better not to provide anything. one snack for two persons looks rediculous
Dear all, I advice everyone plz dont take admission on Seven Sqaure. This are the People who will change definition of School From Education to business. It's better to take admission on normal school. They are just fancy no quality education, height of mismanagment. No one is responsible for any issue or any incident. Now they are asking for bribe i[censored] want Leaving certificate.
i want to know whether the is resolved and my daughter's school is facing the similar issue. please email me [protected]@gmail.com
