[Resolved] Seventymm — forceful cancellation of account and non refund | |||
Hi, I was called up by seventymm executive and offered an subscription at Rs 849 to rent DVD for five months with very fast and efficient service. I had an account (#661513) since 8 December 2011. After watching 5-7 movies, i realized there was issue with movie unavailability and delivery for which i had written to them for which they assured that this would be addressed. on 7th February, they wrote to me that the account is active and would expire on 8th may 2012. on 16th feb, while ordering for a movie, i found that the status of account was shown as canceled. when contacted them, an executive from Seventymm.com told me that seventymm.com is canceling the DVD rental services due to issues in movie delivery and availability & forced me to get Rs 1000 gift voucher which can be used on seventymm shopping site. i refused to get these vouchers and in case this account is canceled, i would want the refund. after that i have not heard from them and they are not responding to may mail either. This is frustrating as first they call up and offer the service and later on force customers to cancel the account and take shopping vouchers. if you can help, that will be useful or i will have to go to a higher authority. regards sunil kumar [protected]@gmail.com Was this information helpful? | |||
