in 2008, August I came from USA to India. My baggages did not arrive on time and Air India offered me 3000/-. My baggage arrived thankfully in a week but after hundreds of calls and so much follow up, noone has even bothered to send me my money yet. Not sure who should I approach because noone at the airport picks up; noone responds to any email. Pathetic customer service. It has been 3 years since then. Was this information helpful? | |||

If delivery of baggage is delayed beyond 24 hours when a passenger is on a visit to a foreign country and has no access to their own wardrobe, then an interim expense of GBP 50.00 or equivalent in local currency is reimbursed. In India, the amount is INR 3, 000.00.
But customer service is warthless, not picking up the phone . They are not responding at all . Still I did not get my baggage. Please let me know how long I should wait.
