I Had purchased a chrono watch from rediff shopping on 23 Oct 2008 and the amount debited from my SB account through net banking on same day, I was informed by rediffmail that my item is despatched details as follows
latest chrono watch Sandeep Vig (Big Baazaar) blue dart awb no.[protected] http://www.bluedart.com Expected delivery: You should receive your order between 04 Nov, 2008 to 08 Nov 2008 But till todate i havenot received the item even after approaching rediff customer care they have not given any reply, the courier detail given by rediff shpopping turned out to be invaild, indicating that i have been cheated by rediff shopping. Kindly help me to proceed legally against this web site and sandeep vig, to retreive my money.

I, sreedevi kadiyala, ordered a dress on the name of sreedevi & venkata kalyani bearing order no: 4956332 & 4953175, the amount was approved and it was dedeucted from my bank account. But still i did not receive the dresses. I need the proper information and earlier reponse for the same.

I had ordered for the dula time watch costing rs 434/- they had dr to my cr card on 21/10/2008 but till date no item recived as well as the courier consignment given by rediff is also invalide. the vendor sandeep vig of Big Bazzar is an cheat as well as the rediff site. they do not responde or they do not have any contact nos.

After making a complain around one moth they ask me to give them the thing back and they were supposed to replace me with a correct one. I have already sent the product thruough ARAMEX courier service on 06/11/2008. But I didnt get any mail from them after asking repeatedly about my product.

Now I want to know that whether I will get the right thing or not and if yes then when? I think Govt should take steps against these day lights chheters. My Contact no is [protected].

MP4 purchase — Non delivery of Rediff shopping items

Dear Sir,

I have booked “4GB MP4+MP3 Music Vedio Player + FM+LCD Screen+Speaker with Free Shipping + Free Digital Watch” from Rediff Shopping at a cost of Rs. 1799.00 on 18th October, 2008 using internet at my home and was given the order No. 4947764. The amount has been deducted from my ICICI credit card account on 18/10/2008 vide ICICI ref. No. 74477488293005645589335 by Rediff.com Ltd. Subsequently on tracking the shipment details it is understood that under AWY Bill No. 23914878 and consignment No.[protected] the item has been handed over to TNT couriers on 22/10/2008. Unfortunately this item has never reached me. After making several telephone calls to M/S TNT (Phone No.[protected]/66/67) on 13/11/2008, 16/11/2008 and 18/11/2008 and to Rediff purchase[protected] with several extension numbers for long time periods on STD, it was informed to me by Mr. Sunil of TNT of Hyderabad initially the TNT courier persons have come to deliver the item but no one is there at ARCI to collect the item. On the second occasion he told that a courier person who was bringing my packet met with an accident and the item has been broken in to pieces and would replace the item with in 2 days. This went on for a few days. On 20/11/2008 Mr. Javeed of TNT India Pvt. Ltd., came to our office, ARCI (an Autonomous Research & Development organization of Department of Science and Technology), Government of India, and gave me a sealed TNT cover stating that the ordered item is present in it. Fortunately I have opened the TNT cover in the presence of Mr. Javeed and to our surprise it contains only one free gift analog watch (not digital watch as mentioned in the order) and nothing else. I totally refused the item and told him to take back the analog watch with all the packing material as the ordered item is not present in the packet. He also agreed that the ordered item is not present in the pack and signed on a hand written note that the ordered item is not present. I also gave him the Rediff Purchase order copy received to my email id from Rediff shopping soon after booked for the item. Soon after Mr. Javeed left my room in office, Mr. Sunil called me on phone and told me “why you have not mentioned the item as MP3 player, we thought it was only a watch?” Again at 6.15PM I received a call from [protected] from Mr. Sunil asking me to take another piece of the MP3 player which he is going to send me and pleaded with me to not to lodge any complaint.

This clearly shows a clear case of theft occurred at some place in between shipping place and delivery place of the ordered item.
Now I decided that total amount to be returned back to me and am no longer interested in the ordered item as I am sure that I will never get the good quality item.
The total time lost during the entire episode is more than a month and my amount of Rs. 1799.00 has been locked up with Rediff shopping and I definitely deserve interest on the locked money and compensation for mental tension and agony for delay of delivery of the item for more than a month. You are therefore requested to take immediate action in this matter and refund the total amount along with interest for delayed period.
If necessary amount has not been returned back to my ICICI bank account by with in 24 hours, I would have to take serious action including police complaint on a cheating case.

The product has not reached me but when iam tracking my order it is showing it is delivered on 15/11/2008. Kindly check with the courier guys and get the same delivered by today itself..

I ordered a winter reversible jacket from rediff shopping and instead of sending me the jacket they sent me 2 XXL size sweat shirts!!! That's just crazy and total cheating!!! I have sent several emails but no response. I think by sending me those sweat shirts they cleared their old stock!

on 16 nov 2008 ihave ordered from rediff shopping a product by master card my money amt 229 with shipping charges is taken but till now i have not recived my delivery my order no is 5013320 when ichecked to track my order it showed it is despached to tnt couriers when contacted to tnt persons they said the consignment no which rediff shopping gave is 8 digit but tnt courier says it should be 9 digit i have maile to rediff shopping for the same issue but till now there is no replay so this is totally cheating ase from rediff, fraud, , bleady crooks my money is taken but ihave not recievd any couriers i request u all to close this chating business of rediff shoppin immeidieately

Rediff Shopping — Not received Product after paying cash

I had placed an order for 2GB IPOD on 15th Nov '08 through a website called (Rediff Shopping).Also I had payed the amount through credit card of Rs.1499. I got a mail from them that your order has been despatched and delivered on 29th Nov '08. But I haven't received my product untill now.

The service is really pathetic and they are looking like a fraud.
I have been cheated by them.

So, it's a humble request to help me out to investigate deeply and take a necessary against rediff for making customer suffer.

Rediff shopping is the worst shopping site that I have seen. They are virtually careless about customers. On the other hand sify is excellent in this response. Rediff doesn't even provide customer care numbers. They have a form, no one responds to query posted through this form. Sad experience. I suggest online shoppers to be away from this site and not to use credit card on this site.

my name is chirag pistolwala and my order no. is 4811076. nearby 3 months ago, i have ordered three shirts worth rs 499/-. i received the order, but they delivered the wrong product instead of three shirts.
after sending them many complaints they replied me saying that courier that wrong product to the given address.
i courier that product at the given address, but the courier came back again saying that no one is available on this address.
i m suffering a lot.
500 rs cost a lot for my family..
i m from poor caste family and i m feeling very bad that i trusted internet shopping.
