[Resolved]  Siemens Washing Machine — No service for Siemens in India

My name is Subhashini. I am from Chennai, India. Siemens service in India, is the worst one you can ever get.I dint know whom to contact to talk about this.
I bought my machine WM-A0716 on 18th july 2006. The machine started running slow in july 2008. I called siemens service centre @[protected]. They said they would come and nobody turned up.I waited for a month.During first week of september 08, icalled them back, even then no one came, every week i kept on calling, they would say yes we will send service person, thats all. On 27 sep 08, i talkled to chennai manger Mr.Ramesh and he send me service on that day.The service person diagnosed shaft problem in machine and gave me bill for 3500/-INR. I called Mr.Ramesh and wanted explanantion for the same.He agreed his fault for not having send service person in time nad said he would repair my machine under waarranty. Thereafter no one cme to pick the machine at all. There are on ly 2-3 girls in the call centre.The moment i tell my name the girls seemed to give some irresponsible answer for not picking the machine. On 6th of october, again after so much of complaining, they picked up the machine from home. And now its 3rd of november and i dont know what they re doing with my machine.Till this date no body has called me from siemens regarding it.I call them every week to find the status. The manger said, on fixing the shaft they had leakage nd then misalingment. He agrees its his technician's problem. BUt every time the answer is "machine should be ready by nexrt week".I called Mumbai call centre, they said Mr.Mahesh would call me, he also dint cll me.Chennai office is shiftd and i dont know their new address.The machine costed 24000/-INR(approx). Please give me some authority's contact who would ansmwer me.
This is not a rare incidence..If you visit http://www.compareindia.com/complaint-box/ there are mnay such complaints on Siemens there. Please raise it to concerned authority. If not stop selling your machine in India.

I am from Chennai .. bought Siemens washing machine, on 24 DEC 2011
but till date ( 18.01.12) nearly a month, my machine is not yet installed
regarding installation i have informed to dealer & service center many times -
Poor response from the Siemens ...
I am srinivasan from Hosur. I had bought Siemens Washing Machine in 2006 Model No AO 716 . In Nov 11 the machine was given problem. I lodged complaint with Jainsons Hosur dated 02.12.2011. After 15 days one Mr Senthilkumar service engineer from Salem Who attended the problem and raise a job card.

After wards I call the service engineer, he was told spares parts not get it from chennai, please wait for 10 days. till date no one was picked up my phone ( both service eng & service center spares manager Mr Satish).

Please help me in this regard to service my washing machine

Siemens don't have proper service in India. Their Chennai customer service number[protected] is not reachable for the past 2 days and it remains the same most of the time. Last time when my washing machine was down it took 45 days for them to fix it that too after multiple remainder calls. Siemens products in India are great as long as they work fine. Absolutely poor after sales service.
Never seen such a worst company in my life spread over more then 50 yrs
never buy any product from siemens .. worst service, , they never pick up call for any query. they wil cheat the money of customers.
Playing themselves saying the person is not availabel. cheating people. dont buy any siemens product. this is form my experience.
My name is N. Saravanan I am from Puducherry, I purchased a front load Siemens Washing Machine model A07/161N/24 (Serial No.FD[protected] on 23.01.2010 at Rupawani Agencies, Puducherry. Last week of June 2012 the machine stopped working by making loud noise. The warranty period has expired. Therefore, for checking the machine, I called loacal siemens company i.e. puducherry but not response in a month. Accordingly my brother who is a service engineer for all kind of washing machine. He checked the machine and noticed that the hub (Star Shaped) of the washing machine has been broken due to bad quality. Further, he stated that the drum of the washing machine is designed in such a way that the inner drum alone could not be removed since the entire set (inner drum and outer case) are moulded together. He then stated that the machine which were released earlier by Siemens were designed in such a way that the inner drum and the outer case could be separated easily since made of screw type or clip type. The approximate cost for replacement of the drum comes to ` 8000/- (approximately) which is nearly 40% of the new washing machine. Before purchasing this machine I enquired with many people, nearly 60% of the people recommended for Siemens make and therefore I preferred to buy this machine. Now I feel ashamed for being buying this machine so I am a middle class family (tenant house). Moreover, since I am being involved in Social activities I am fully surrounded with friends and relatives. I have also recommended Siemens make washing machine for many. At this stage I request the Siemens Company should come forward either to pay compensation or to replace the drum at free of cost. I also request that the company should take alternative steps to produce a good quality machine as there is always good name to Siemens make washing machine not only in Puducherry but also throughout India. Please arrange of drum kit or equal payment.Please give me some authority's contact who would ansmwer me.

I had the following problem with my machine

This started on 28th of November 2012. I called the customer care in Chennai and spoke to a lady called Ms. Sudha. She promised to send a service technician and he(Mr. Shahul Hameed) did come on Saturday the 1st of December and examined the machine. He opined that the problem was with the control panel and it needed to be replaced. He said his office would gett in touch with me regarding this.

A lady called on Monday the 3rd of December and informed me that the parts were not available in the local office and they had to come from Mumbai, which will take 5 to 7 days. Today (10th December 2012) I called to find out the status of the said part. She informs me that the part is not available in India and has to come from Germany. She did not give me a timeline.
This mail is a request to expedite the process of receiving the part needed to set my machine right. I would appreciate your help regarding this matter.
The reason I send this email is that I came across a forum with multiple complaints about the service provided after sales by Siemens in their respective cities. We buy a product based on the reputation of the company. We do not take our purchase lightly and do believe that the company also takes its customers seriously. Please address my issue.

I am happy to note that within a day I received both a telephone call and an email from the service Manager Mr. Satish Kumaar and he promised to send Mr Shahul with the panel the next day. And it was fixed.
I want to thank Mr satish and his team for helping me out with my problem. It heartens me that such people do exist in the service industry.
Obviously I will endorse thie products in the future, based on my personal experience.
i also had purchased a machine E12-16 which is not working properly and the problem is that the machine after being started doesn't stop. the process tends to repeat itsel[censored]ntil we don't stop it. and calling the service centre they say our technician will come asap but no one came to address the problem and would like to mention that the post sale service of Siemens is the worst i have ever experienced. and on being called on your service centre your executives (hiral & krtika) keeps the line on hold for 15 Min's.

please look into the matter and solve the problem as this kind of service is not creating a good impact of your company and the customer will not recommend your product to others.
Even I have had a very ad experience with Siemens washing machine wm12e360in/25 . I have put in a complaint some 8 hours ago . My complain no. Is[protected] . My machine is not opening it is with all the clothes . The company says wait for 48 hours for the service . All my clothes will stink and will get spoilt in 48 hours . C'mon why so long after paying a bomb to get machine intakes such long time for you guys to just come n check . I have 2 very small kids at home . Can not wait for so long .
dear sir i purchased your washing maschine in 2012 the maschine stopped working about two month back, when i called tham they have given me aservice centre mobile no[protected] some universal service centre their mechanic came he charged Rs7500/ and told that it is repaired, next day we tried to start the maschine it was not working, 10days after the continous requiest the man came and told that i will come yester day, now it become 15 days we are wa iting, and calling, now today if he wontcome, i have to go to consumer court only my tel no is [protected] my adress flat no5 bulding no6 shivshakti hsg so nr santoshi mata kurar malad east mumbai, my maschine is fully automatic purchased from croma, malad west, IN CONCLUSION I MUST TELL THAT MASCHINE GOOD BUT AFTER SALE SERVICE VERY BAD, EVEN CROMA STORE MUST ENSURE THAT COMPNY HAVE AFTER SALE SERVICE BEFORE SELLING ANY ITEAM

i am baskar residing at nanganallur chennai march 2013 i bought siemens washing machine my purchasing idea was misguided by the vivek nanganallur store representative he promise me about the siemens washing machine working capacity but it is very worst in working in my domestic use the machine was running normally upto may2013 but for the past one month machine was not working properly and not washing and not drying properly three service personnel attended the machin but the problem was not rectified they suggested one 5kv double voltage booster for running support to the siemens washing machine its cost about rs.6000/- it is a additional burdon to me, finally i am using my old ifb washing machine and the new useless lame horse like siemens washing machine kept in the lumber room because it is new but usless item the services of siemens is very very very very poooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Bosch and Siemens are into joint venture under the name Bsh household appliances.
Even though technology is of Germany; products are manufacted in Asian countries including China.

Service of this company is extremely poor in fact its worse than the term worst.
This is so because they have centralised branch but no service centre.

Each and every customer has the right to know where is the service centre, name of the service centre, address and contact number.

Kindly verify these details before purchasing.

I am Muthukrishnan from Mumbai, with in seven months of purchasing, my washing machine went out of order, I am also getting an irresponsible reply from the call centre. now, they said the spare parts are to come from abroad, it would take another 15 days. I've realised the mistake of purchasing siemens. I never recommend any people for this product.
Siemens front loading washing machine, model No WM O7A165 IN/02, Sl.No[protected], had frequent problems (first major problem just at the end of two year warantee period) involving costly repair charges within 6 year. The present problem calls for an expenditure of Rs.8000. Within six years period, the tub needed two replcements (costly maintenance up to RS.8000) and the shock absorber needed one replcement (up to Rs.3000). The bad life of the machine components calling for costly maintenance indicate design fault.

We come across free replacements of faulty designs of cars worth lakhs of rupees. Can Siemens Home appliances follow the same and be genuine?
I am facing problem with my Siemen's washing machine in Bhopal. Company is totally irresponsible. I need a new bearing and bearing caps, but company is unable to resolve the issue.
i purchased a machine WM12E360IN- on 15/05/2010 at chennai. After sales and delivered that machine, no one turned for demo and advice, how to prevent / maintain machine / replacement of drum/heater within 4 yrs of time. now, machine got repaired, and given complaint, techn chkd the machine, and informed that DRUM/ HEATER DAMAGED due to scaling powder heavily deposited. ininitially after delivery, they supposed to depute techn, for feed back from the customer and advice, descaling is reqd once in 3 months, otherwise, the drum / heater need to be replaced at anytime.
Also, i sent a complaint to the service head at chennai-mr.sivakumar, finally he agreed to fix therateby 40percenti.e7500/-.
Again, the mechanic came with new drum / heater for the 3 time within a week, and started break open the front panel with hammer instead
o[censored]sing the screw driver to remove the one screw only for replacing DRUM. if it is not removable through mannual handling, they supporsed to
remove the screw through power screw driver. HOW THEY CAN BREAK OPEN THE FRONT PANEL WHICH IS MOULDED ONE, IF IT IS BROKEN, AGAIN I NEED TO SPEND FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF FRONT PANEL, WHICH WOULD NOT BE ASSURED BY THEM IN WRITTING, IF ANY DAMAGE WHILE CUT OPEN THE SCREW HEAD -plastic mould-THROUGH HAMMER.
IMMTLY, I STOPPED THE SAME WORK SENT OUT THE TECHN. INFORMED THE SERVICE HEAD TO OPEN THE MACHINE THROUGH SCREW DRIVER ONLY AND NOT TO BREAK OPEN THEOUGH HAMMER.

THEY ASSURED ME THAT THEY WOULD SEN THE SENIOR TECHN BY 05.05.2014, HOW SIEMEN ARE SENDIN SUCH INEFFECTIVE TECHNICIAN TO IRRITATE THE CUSTOMER AND SPOIL THE WASHING MACHINE. ATLEAD THEY SHOULD LEARN HOW TO OPEN THE MACHINE IF IT IS HARD ENOUGH TO OPEN WHILE REPAIR.

IF IT IS NOT SERVICED PROPERLY WITHOUT DAMAGE THE FRONT PANEL, I WOULD DEFINETELY FILE A CASE AGAINST THEM TO REPLACE WITH NEW ONE.

ALREADY THEY USED HAMMER 4 TO 5 TIMES TO CUT OPEN THE SCREW HEAD IN SIDE THE MACHINE, WHICH MAY AFFECT THE DIGITAL BOARD BECAUSE OF OVER VIBRATION WHILE USING HAMMER WITH HUGE NOISE.

IN MEANWHILE, I ALSO SEARCHED THE POWER SCREW DRIVER FOR RENTAL TO OPEN THE FRONT PANEL WITHOUT DAMAGE OF MY MACHINE.

GOD ONLY SHOULD SAVE ME AND MY MACHINE ON 05.05.14.

Hello. I have purchased a siemens washing machine before two years. 2th May 2012 to be more precise. I just spent more money because of the brand name of siemens. But Now I felt like it was a wrong decision. The machine had a warranty of 2 years.The device got problem on 5th may 2012 .Exactly after two years and 5 days. We called a service technician. He charged 800 Rs for a single visit and report that it needs a repair work of 10000. While negotiating for a problem in machine, he came down to 8000. Immediate 20 percent discount by service technician. A truly unprofessional way.Ii would say a kind of cheating only. To summarize: we brought a product worth rs 20000 we got problem after 2 yrs itself and 5 days extended of warranty period so its a chargable work of 10000 Rs. that too by an unprofessional technician offering 2000 as discount.Its a worst experience from siemens and I would really recommend people for not buying this products of poor quality with worst service.
