Sify — cut & steal Cable

Hi I am an existing customer of Sify Broadband since 2008. I have faced a strange situation this time. I have shifted from 1st floor to 2nd floor in a same building. When I raised a request to shift the connection, local operator asked 500 Rs for it. Neways some how I manged to do shift the connection by my own. After that someone stole a complet wire (CAT5 cable) coming to my flat from neighbour building. I raised a request again but this time they (Sify) are asking me to pay a complete amount for cable.

Guys Would like to know that I have already paid 1000 Rs for installation & Rs 300 extra for line maintainence (when I recharge my account with FK3M package) so whay should I pay a extra amount again when the problem is not from my side.

Pls help me to get this issue solved. my 2 months pac has already expired without use due to this.
