registered my mobile number with snapdeal.com which was my first mistake. I searched on snapdeal.com to unregister my mobile number but could not find it. Stop those daily annoying deal sms's it wont do any good for your revenue...pls stop smses on [protected].my email is:[protected]@rediffmail.com.

      Sub: Poor quality and bad service from Fish Zone

      This is to inform you that I, Shoma Chaudhuri, purchased a coupon from your website related to a Fish Bowl with 2 gold fish. However, when i went to the store to take delivery of the fish, one of a the fish did not seem fine, despite repeated questions inquiring about the fish health i was told they were of best quality. Unfortunately, the unhealthy fish died on 4th and the second one too died yesterday.

      After several attempts to contact Mr.Aqueel Khan of Fish zone, i was told that they do not take guarantee for the quality or life of the fish they are selling.

      I am extremely disappointed with this poor service and nonchalant behavior of the dealer and to add to that i did not receive back any communication from Snap Deal despite registering my compliant and being assured of a call back with four hours.
      This is complete disservice to a first time customer .

      I believe it is imperative for the dealer to have written in the voucher that he neither takes guarantee for the quality or life span of the livestock he is selling. I am tempted to take legal action against the dealer and will make sure to tell everyone of the bad quality and non responsibility towards the consumer.

      I hope that if not replaced with better quality of gold fish within this week, I am refunded the amount Rs. 250. I payed else I will be forced to make sure that these kind of wrong sellers receive punishment and disrepute they deserve along with your company that does not properly check the standards required from these rouge dealers for an online shopping company.

      Why you just stick to one single service. You can also try out other services as well. If you think they all are same and doing bad job in terms of delivery and all than that would probably not a right thing to think. I would suggest you to move ahead with other services like of TimesDeal or DealsandYou or whatever you like. I am suggesting this from my personal experience.

        SNAP DEAL scam, SNAPDEAL deducts extra money, SNAP DEAL hidden charges.

        Snap deal had an offer for total value of Rs.299 and we had to pay rs.99 online.

        I made the purchase, got the offer in my email which states that Rs.99 have been paid.

        However, I checked with my bank and Snapdeal has deducted Rs.632.

        While Making the purchase I was very careful. I made sure quantity is correct i.e. 1. price stated at page was Rs.99.

        I contacted their customer care, they hang up as soon as tell my issue, later no one answers.

        This is a scam website I strongly advise people NOT to use this company. I have sent several emails to their support and help, guess what? No one even cares to reply. I have proof from bank which no one...NO ONE can deny or override with their empty words.


        I look forward to people who have suffered damages to raise their voice, let Media know how SNAPDEAL is just a scam. They must face legal actions for fraud.

        @snapdeal team ; You will soon catch a nice thread on TOI and HT. Be ready with your lame excuses and explanations because I have proof from bank to rub it on your face.

        Snapdeal is really a fraud company.

        I am no longer interested in using Snapdeal.com, I have had it with their RIDICULOUS refund policy, they have simply stolen my money!

        Please, expats out there, do NOT use Snapdeal, because if there is a problem with your product they will drag their feet, frustrate you, and on top of that, you lose. It took SEVEN WEEKS for them to finally send a refund cheque, one in which I told them I would not be able to use because I do not have a local account to which the cheque has to be lodged. I asked them to give me a refund in the form of a coupon/voucher to use on their website, but they insisted that only cheques are offered for CODs. I asked if the cheque can be cashed since I don't have a local bank account, and they ignored my question in several emails. Now I have this cheque which is of no use to me.

        What tops it off is that a Snapdeal agent earlier today (after I went to the bank) told me I would have to send back the refund cheque to them, at MY OWN EXPENSE, then they will apply credit to my Snapdeal account, the VERY THING I requested they do instead, and I asked before they prepared and dispatched the cheque, they knew full well of my concern, yet they ignored me.

        So frankly they STOLE from me! No more SNAPDEAL! I have OPTIONS!!! Thanks Flipkart, Jabong.com, Babyoye, Urban Touch, Firstcry...and the list goes on!

        Snapdeal please close my account as I see no option on the website for me to do so other than to unsubscribe SMS, and do not send me any more email offers either!

          I would like to share the most horrible experience.

          I fell for an offer by snap deal for a lazy beanbag chair.
          I paid Rs.149 thru online payment mode and opted for the offer. I got an eamil confirming the same.


          I called up at the mentioned number to take and appointment for saturday 19 march.

          I was requested to go to the below address by 9.00 pm and was told to call up once i reached ashish theatre in chemebur

          Mahul village, Chembur, Mumbai

          I reached ashish theatre at about 5:15 pm and from there my nightmare began. i tried calling up on the given numbers but there was no answer. Would have called 50 times from 3 different numbers but the phone was ringing continuously but not answered. four times in between somebody picked up the phone and then disconnected it.

          I sent 2 sms messages requesting to pick up the phone or call back but no such luck.

          No local person seemed to know the address.

          I finnaly reached Mahul village but was unable to locate " sea breeze society" After roaming aroung the locality for nearly an hour I managed to locate the spot where sea breeze building was gutted down. the building was brought down and there was construction work going on

          So much for a store called " crazy bean bag."
          I called snap deal executive from there who confirmed that the address was same. He requested me to wait and confirmed that smebody from crazy bean bag would call me. After 10 minutes of waiting ( in a taxi with the meter on ) I again called back. the executive was surprised that nobody had called and confirmed that he had spoken to a Mr sandeep from crazy bean bag who had promised to call immediately.

          He again told me to wait and confirmed that it was not a shop and that the building was not in place but they had a godown. I agian searched the locality for a godown / furniture shop but could not find one.

          I finally called up snap deal exective who promised that he would refund the money and check about refunding the taxi fare
          There was no backgroung / reality check done by snap deal team before publishing a false address.
          Just roaming around in the taxi to locate the place cost me much more than the bean bag price.


          I have been continuously following with with snap deal who are just asking for time 2 days on saturday, then again 2 days on tuesday ( since nobody had called i called back on tuesday) again 2 days they are not refunding the money nor re-imbursing the taxi fare nor giving me a bean bag chair.

          I am seeking your help to

          1.either get a full refeund for the voucher value and re-imbursment for the taxi fare of Rs. 900/- or
          2. Give a beanbag chair free

          Till today, i have not received even a courtuosey call from Crazy bean bag.
          I would like to filing a case of mis- representation by giving a wrong address and cheating against crazy bean bag and snap deal

          Snap Deal a huge banner should not promote such Vendors. This will not only spoil their reputation but also lose confidence of CUSTOMERS.

          Crazy Bean Bags — no delivery received

          no received the delivery of bean bag from last 21 days
          Service and the company is horrific, poor, pathetic. We had ordered bean bag from crazy beans on 14th March’11 with invoice no-435 and 436 and had paid for 1 bag. Delivery was promised on 15th March next day and till today the delivery is done neither the amount is refunded. Guys please don’t buy anything from this vendor.

                I had bought 2 coupons from SnapDeal # 25454923 & 2543911 towards carnations car wash deal.

                I had made a booking with Carnations on 12.2.2011 and was told on the

                telephone to get the car at 11 am & that car would be delivered by

                2PM.
                On reaching carnations, after waiting 20-25 minutes for being attended
                I was told that Car would be delivered only after 5 PM as there was a
                'rush'.
                I cancelled the booking as I could not wait that long and there was no
                sanctity to the telephone booking.

                As such as I am dissatisfied, I requested Snapdeal that amount of Rs 99*2 = Rs 198

                be refunded as per the terms.
                Snapdeal is not refunding the amount despite agreeing to credit account.

                Kindly take action against such companies which are misleading the consumers.

                  i have purchase a memory card from snap deals 4 mb of rs 179 after few days i got that but when i inserted that it was of 32kb i returned it back with courier of blue dart dated 18 may still i am waiting for response in between when i post complaint they call me and again ask for 10 days what fun these peoples r doing with customers god knows i think my money gone to well.vishal [protected]

                      I had bought a coupon from SnapDeal.com on 28 Dec 2009 of Hookah Makhlouf lounge valid till 28 Jan 2010, But when i went to the outlet the vendor told me that the deal with SnapDeal was cancelled. The snap deal team did not inform me about the cancellation of the deal and when asked for refund of the amount they said mail and wait for 7 days. It has been 45 Days Since then i have mailed them with reminders about the same and every time i get a reply saying that they will be refunded but have not received my money yet.
                      Have also mailed the CEO of the Media company parent of SnapDeal i.e. Jasper
                      I can Attach a complete Mail History if required of the same.

                        I totally agree... They are .. I purchased the same MoneySaver Prime Card from them and made credit card payment. They say they sent me a courier through DTDC and gave me the tracking no. DTDC website shows that it's been delivered and signed by: SIGN. However I have not recd. it. God knows whom they shipped it to, and who is this person SIGN.
                        I tired to contact DTDC, but that is again useles... So, I told them since they are the sender, pls. check it at their end about who was the receiver of my courier, and his phone no (It is after all their responsibility to make sure there courier reaches the buyer). However, they are not ready to follow up with their courier guy what happened to the shipment. Mind you, I receive 100s of courier every month, and this is the first instance of something not being delivered to me! So im doubtfull if the tracking mo. provided by them is really mine or some1 else's!! In all, the company sucks, and the service people suck bigger..
                        They are spending big time on ads, but I really doubt how can they dream of becoming bigger with such unresponsive service.
                        Snap deal have to focus on their credibility first then to making their money by selling and setting vouchers target for a day.

                        They make the product having actual worth of Rs. 80 to Rs. 1000 and then selling it back to Rs. 200 as the main deal. For e.g. eat unlimited Biryani worth rs. 1000 @ rs. 200 and maximum 1 person allowed. Are they looking for sumo wrestlers to actually make this thing as deal OR do a haircut worth Rs. 250 at Rs. 50. Rs, 250? for a Haircut for a common man? It is true that they set price on no grounds.

                        At last, their marketing agents have to focus on their company's credibility and merchant potential first then to focus entirely on their own commission target from the deal.

                        They have to focus on the merchant potential than to looking for any local merchant just for the sake of showing to the innocent/honest buyer as SNAP DEAL NOW @ _____ Location/ They should bring the deal that it should really be felt as worth.

                        Worth in the sense that neither it shouldn't be a loss for the merchant (by showing that snap deal has a huge user base) and nor for the buyer (by showing snapdeal has huge merchant base).

                        These deal companies have to be formal, professional, ethical and logical if they want to sustain in the market.

                        the person involve in forming this website and employees of jasper hereby informed here that i m going to lodge complaint with concerned department regarding the misleading, cheating, and fraud hapn to me in buying race membership cards, th...e date of purchased is 8th mach and i got sufficent evidence to proove that this company is f...raud, legal notice is being send within 48 hours of this post, company either refund the double amount which had been recived by them or deliver me the cards within 48 hours, otherwise i hv no other option left but to get the relief from court of law, indeep singh arora advocate..... i hd send this post to snapdeal 2 days ego but nothing hd done till yet, this shows the intention of fraud of you people with general public, i therefore confirm that now snapdeal and its employee will face criminal action and can be booked under cyber law crime.

                        I purchased two deals for GenX Diagnostics (Pay Rs 599 for Complete Liver, Kidney & Lipid Screening, Thyroid Profile, Complete Blood Count, Bone Strength Test & More worth Rs 4000 from Gen X Diagnostics). Voucher numbers are 48000082 and 47654365.

                        I used the deal on 20th April' 2011. The reports showed that I was suffering from hypothyroidism (TSH level 7.10 against a permissible level of 4.5). I immediately went to see my doctor who asked me to take the thyroid test again. I took the test from Dr. LalPath Labs after 24 hours. My reports were absolutely normal (TSH 3.636).

                        I mailed them to Dr. Gaba at Gen X and he said it's a normal thing. I asked him to write it on his company's letter head and sign it but nothing happened. My doctor has said that it is NOT POSSIBLE for TSH to vary so much within 24 hours. The GenX report is incorrect but they refuse to admit it.

                        What if my doctor had put me under medication without asking for a re-test? Who would have been responsible then?

                        Is it normal that you are suffering from a life time disease on one day and within 24 hours you are completely cured from it?

                        I was given an incorrect report for which I was charged Rs.600, Rs.850 for a re-test + doctor visit and not to mention the stress which I went through.

                        The other voucher which was for my sister remained unused.

                        Snapdeal.com refused to take any responsibility for the same and have not made any refunds. I am in the process of filing a complaint in the consumer court under medical negligence.

                        Their deals are cheap for sure but the quality is even cheaper.

Sorry to use this word, but that is how your phonebanking works. Today was my 4th time, I am giving a call to your customer service, and still they don't know the status of the product. I have not received the product till date, and today is the 16th day, excluding saturdays and sundays. No one had even the courtesy to give a call back, after we raised our issue.. I had spoken to Mr.Arvind Kumar twice, and Mr.Khaval (not sure, if he is the supervisor of Mr.Arvind, but that's what they said). But Mr.Khaval has no qualities of a supervisor.

                        This is the first time, I am booking a product through Snapdeal, and see my experience...

                        Fraid snapdeal.
                        I had purchased a voucher for a handbag on 20th May. The voucher number is 61343606. I understand they said 7 - 11 working days. So I didnt do any follow up with them. On the 11th Day I called to know the status and they told me that the item has been shipped and I will get it shortly. On enquiring about the courier details, they said they dont have it!!! (And they run a online website...what a joke)
                        Then after my continued followup I found out that the item has been shipped back to the merchant due to wrong delivery address. I mean I had ordered previous stuff from Snapdeal on this address. How come it wasnt wrong then?? In the meantime, all my requests to speak to a senior customer care executive fell on deaf ears as they were 'busy' attending a meeting (on how to fool more people I suppose). But this experience has been so bad, that I dont ever wanna do any business with this site again. Really pathetic. And they really want to compete against ebay..ha...fat chance!

                        I have purchased from snapdeal from my login account and now there is no response from snapdeal, even the contact no. mentioned on their site doesnt pick up and the email id through which i purchased the item shows me that this email is not registered with us.

Whether it is TimesDeal, Snapdeal, DealandYou or any other deals site they are really performing great. But only the negative point is the technical problems due to which customers are not getting orders on time. But I feel the upcoming new sites are really doing a great job and have great potential in terms of technicality and other.
                        i am delivered one wrist watch which is not the same i booked. i called the snap deal customer care number for inquiry but did not receive any solution till date. Now i have the wrong product! the service is pathetic n i would suggest a strict no no for SNAP DEAL PRODUCTS.

                        The modus operandi for snap deal is disappointingly bad. In my first dealing with the so called up and happening online portal, I had ordered for Lacoste Men Perfume and paid the amount upon receiving the product. However, when I opened the seal, it was a wrong product. I had chased the guys and was given the assurance that it will be rectified with the correct product in no more than 1 week. However, after 1 week customer care attendant said that first we will check the delivered product(to check if I have use it) and then after another week we will deliver you the product. To no surprise, it has been more than a week now and I am yet to receive a single call for wrong product back collection.

                        It has really been disappointing to see how these people dupe genuine online buyers and create a sour impression for further buying.
                        Snapdeal is the most laid-back in terms of customer service., They promise that they would give a special discount coupon on first purchase. Not only did they give an invalid coupon code, after I made the purchase of a Blackberry on Snapdeal, their customer care executives do not even have order status for 6 days post placing the order. All they have to say is that it will take 10 working days. A request to expedite the order is out of question. They are just clueless. Pathetic customer service!!! I just read about the watch example above . I am also quite sure, they would let me know on 11th working day that the product is not available. They are hiring from top Indian B schools. I wonder, how they can afford to be so lax in customer service. If I do not get a quality product within stipulated time, I will go to consumer court.

                        I took a combo offer of beauty salon services at Ilakriti Beauty Concepts through snapdeal. For this i paid some amount online and the rest i had to pay after the services. I took this offer on 15th March 2012, then i called Ilakriti beauty to have an appointment. The Manager there told me that they have no connection with snapdeal and they dont provide such offers. I lodged a complaint against this on that very day. Today is 20th March 2012, I received one call from snapdeal but no action has been taken till date.                         The Problem with Ebay is that they a limited inventory from which Customers have to search whatever they want and then order it. But this process has a lot of limitations like it doesn't allow Customers to get whatever they want because the inventory is limited and can't fulfill everybody's needs. Also the Customer also doesn't get the Best price as it is fixed and based on the availability of the product.

                        I found is quite interesting website Mydeals247.com which has No inventory on the Website, and everything is based on the interests of the Consumer. System Notifies the Consumer requests to all the Sellers Whoever is selling that particular Product or service along with the Consumer Budget. Sellers make offers and the Consumer get everything real time and that to at cheapest price.

                        I had a great experience with Mydeals247 I bought a Cell phone which I got a quite cheap price.
                        I would recommend you to try it once.

                        I have been reading the complaints posted by you people here and I thought of sharing mine too. My problem is totally different from any of yours. I order favola bangles set on May 15th, 2012 for Rs. 645. It was delivered to me on 20th May, 2012. They had delivered a different product than what I has ordered. So I put in a complaint and they asked me to send them a picture of what had been delivered. I sent them a mail with the piture on 21st and they asked for the wrong product to be sent back. They product received the destination on 25th May, 2012. Today is 8th June and I still havnt got the refund back nor do I have the product that I ordered.                         I am writing this as I am very much upset with Snapdeal. First the deal is given in the site and once person orders and order is complete then snapdeal suddenly cancels it. Once the customer sent a mail asking for clarification then snapdeal reply back saying that I requested for cancellation but the fact is I never requested for cancellation.

                        Last week I ordered a Micromax A116 Canvas HD and paid though my Credit Card. Now Snapdeal is saying that the product can't be sent as the logistic company returned them the product due to improper mode of shipment and goods once sent back to them will not be shipped further. I spoke to logistic company Bluedart and they too told the same. I have all the mails, both from Snapdeal and Bluedart. Snapdeal confirmed with me that they will reimburse the money to my bank account within the next 7-15 working days. But my credit card company has already slapped a processing charge of Rs 1506/- on the total amount. Will snapdeal reimburse the processing fee...I don't want to fall victim due to their faulty system.                         I had ordered the product karpine screen guard on snapdeal for my Mi3 mobile on 8th Aug 2014 but when i received the product that was of some other brand named Moans screen guard. I had returned the product and placed a second order for purchase of Professional screen guard for same model again on 13th Aug 2014 by making the paymeng again.As happened in my first order again wrong product named Moan brand is delivered to me. I follwed up with the management but no solution is provided for the same.

                        I had placed one more order of Kent Water Purifier on 16th Aug 14 and delivery date was given 23rd Aug 14 but i dint get the product on 23rd Aug 14 i tried to contact snapdeal customer care team they assured product will be delivered on 25th Aug 14 but i dint get the product even 25th Aug 14. Again i had to contact to snapdeal team for product delivery but no assured date and time of delivery was given by the management. I asked for money back in case they are not able to deliver the product but customer care supervisor refused to do the same.

                        I dont understand niether they are delivering the product nor they returning my money back.

                        I purchased a pair of knee length boots from Snapdeal and returned them 2 days later on November 19th due to sizing issues. I have been waiting for my refund ever since November. I have received an sms and a couple of emails from the customer service dept informing me that the refund has been initiated but I haven't seen my money so far. Today, I was surprised to hear from the customer service rep that the refund was never initiated due to "error" on the part of Snapdeal. So Snapdeal has been conveniently lying to me. I have been a faithful customer of Snapdeal but not after this nightmarish episode.

I am very satisfied but recently phone heat so much and I used to go sony service center and they said me that they will not able to give mexactly services because this phone is out of india but on my bill it&#039;s mention your phone warranty all india
                        Then I was call sony call centre and they told me your phone is came from Spain and we will not give you any services so now it&#039;s means snapdeal company cheat me just for little bit profit.
                        A person who spend his money for any product and the seller cheat him so it&#039;s very hurt to customers.
                        This is the first time i ordered saree on snapdeal. I had worst experience. The delivered saree is completely different from the purchased saree with a very cheap quality. While ordering the price was 835. On delivery the price was 885 rupees! Even the link i purchased was showing 885! So much tampering with prices. Quality of the delivered saree was so low that its worth was less than 125 rupees. Never expected this from snapdeal. I replaced the saree. Waiting for original saree. Lets see how much standard snapdeal maintains.

                        Dear Snapdeal Team, I have no words to express my grievances with you. Really it was very bad experience with snapdeal. Snapdeal as well as manufacturer Micromax harassed me lot. I lost my money, lost my trust on snapdeal, time, reputation and technology obsolescence etc. Still my mobile is lying with the service center since Dec.2015. There is no humanity at all. Every ones intention is how to loot the public money by misguiding customers with false assurances. There is no such service care management by snapdeal as per E-Commerce Business guidelines.

                        Now Snapdeal's legal expert stated that Snapdeal has no third party liability and it is a common platform to sell & buy of products only. Snapdeal are not providing any guarantee and warantee etc directly to their customer. Our IT Act not so much strong.

                        My request to all online customer is to be careful from snapdeal at the time of placing orders. If any thing promised by the customer care of snapdeal, please keep it audio recorded stored in your mobile and keep all papers with you in care i.e. advertisements, bills, payment methods etc. for future requirements.

                        Aggrieved by such act of snapdeal & Micromax, I filled a consumer complaint with CDRF - X, Udyog Sadan Delhi for redressing my grievances.

                        It's about 2 Addidas shoes I have ordered. Each shoes price after discount was around 4k. Shoes got delivered in Nike carton and the quality of shoes was horrible. Basically, the seller has delivered duplicate/fake shoes. I have raised the return request very next day of recieving the shoes but Snapdeal is not responding stall. When there is 7 days free return period, why Snapdeal not responding. Also, you are selling fake products, instead of penalising seller, you are penalising the buyer. What a shame

                          But, ... here is a twist.

                          Snapdeal provide your number and information to other agencies, and before you know it, you start getting a load of other sms from places like LM, TN, etcetcetc.

                          And here is the worst part. Vodafone takes 45 days to inactivate. IMAGINE, 45 DAYS!!!
                          What if i start getting sms from someone else on the 42nd day??? would it take me another 45 days to de-activate the new smss? would the continuous irritation never end??
