[Resolved]  Sony — After Sales Repair

It is really bad when you don't get service even after sales and when you are paying for it.

A really good brand but I think it is really bad on their part.

I have a Flatron 29 Inches which i asked SIGMA Marketing authourised repair center for repair on Phone but till now after repeated requested nothing has been done so far.

Attaching recent mail with Sony India it has been now 13 days since the complaint.

After repeated Calling up Sigma Marketing in Jalandhar, no one has ever came down for the repair of the TV,

Purchased Sony Vaio 15E SVF15318SNW online through Flipkart(WS Retail Service Pvt Ltd) order ID OD[protected] on 14.08.2014.
Authorised service center at Patna (BIHAR) refused to provide warranty facility to that product saying Flipkart
invoice is bearing serial # of product as[protected] in place of actual product serial #[protected]made in china).
Pls send me the warranty card for that product with actual product serial # .

Dear Customer Care Department,
This is to inform that undersign had given my personnel mobile (Xperia-Z1) to Sony service Center at West Medinapur- West Bengal (Video Plaza) on[protected] with below listed complaints.
1. High Frequency Music gets distorted which was not originally so.(this was one of major factor to consider this set with other available options)
2. Voice quality was not clearly received to other end, (to whom I am talking with).
3. Voice quality is low both in normal &amp; speaker mode.
4. Screen brightness gets disturbed some times.
5. Battery discharge in 3-4 hrs.
6. Camera quality is poorer that Samsung Grand-2, although Sony Xperia Z1 is 20 MP camera &amp; other is only 8 MP.

Response from Service Center.
• First of all front desk officer did not listed each of above problems &amp; only listed selected, ensured me they will care in totality.
• There was no one to guide as how to take back up, as same was advised to take by customer care while request for ticket ID.
• When I asked for How to take a backup, than from office person replied that I have to do that with in myself, resulting I could not take back up prior to hand over my Phone.
• On[protected], when I got SMS that my system is ready, I visited again to pick up my phone &amp; asked what are corrective action taken against each of my reported problem. In response concern technical team person only informed me that, your phone was formatted.
• When I asked why phone was formatted as in system all things was showing updated, &amp; I was not being informed about same, that is why I was not bothered to take back up, while when service center person was not supportive as mentioned earlier, resulting my complete data, pic, video, sms are gone.
• Concern technical person showed test mode &amp; declared all is well nothing can be done except software upgrade.
In view of not getting any solution of my given phone I had not taken my phone from service center, &amp; shall be procuring a better phone if things are not resolved ASAP.

In response to above Sony service center has infromed that every thing is all right I can take back my mobile.
Also My service ID [protected] is closed now.

The engineer has recommended replacement of Panel only whereas I want replacement of entire TV set instead of TV panel only
I am shocked that TV set of Sony develops fault in such a short period of seven months.

I want my TV set to be replaced .

No service after accidental damage as contrary to claimed by the service centres for accidental damage for sony experia Z-1.

Since 26th June, 2015 there is no video/ audio on the screen of TV.
I lodged a complaint No. ID26184901 on 27th June, 2015 to Sony Helpline- Customer Care, New Delhi. as well as to Vista electronic care Jammu ph no [protected].
Service engineer Mr. Anil ( Mob. [protected]) visited on the same very day i.e
27June, 2015 and detected that TV panel is not OK, and
needs replacement.
I am your loyal customer since my last TV was also Sony BRAVIA.which lasted for more than 15 years and still going on. On which basis I purchased this one.

I purchased a SONY LED 43W800C on 20.11.2015 Invoice No.484124 from Bismi Appliances, Kalamassery, Kochi-682022.
Its Warranty information ( Model Name KDL-43W800C, Product 8D No. 18727001, Serial No.4525187.
From Dated 14.12.2015 we found a complaint my TV that its picture right side half portion vibrating started after some minutes its all screen became dark screen and hear the sound only, then shutdown tv then on again that time picture came after few minutes later the same happened as above then we called the tv installed tv technician from the sony service center Trissure they came and check, and check the software complaint that also find ok. They told us they want to take the service center then check, but we don't want a open surgery such suss one month old our TV. then we call the purchased shop Bismi Invoice No.484124 from Bismi Appliances, Kalamassery, Kochi-682022, they told us keep the tV at home we will arrange through Sony . then i got a call & message from you. that you told write the problem. that is it.

I had bought an Home theatre on 15 th November and registered for installation . But after 7 days one person named Mr.Santhosh Kumar from Roshan Electronics, Mysore, Karnataka, came for an installation and theft my HDMI cable from the box and told that he will come in the evening for installation. But he didn't come, later i found that the HDMI cable is not there, because he was holding the cable in the morning when he came for an Installation. Immediately I called Mr. Santhosh but he said, it is there only and he didn't come for an Installation. Later Complaint was raised in the service centre pertains to his person Mr.Santhosh. They said they issued notice to him but no action has been taken against the person. M/S Roshan Electronics is having unskilled/unqualified persons having poor knowledge about the demo and installation of home theatre. Later another person named Mr.Vijay came and installed that to he has not fixed the speakers to the walls simply he kept and went off.Now Mp3, CD player is not running i called Mr.Vijay service centre person but he also not sure. I felt very bad and the same has been brought to your notice still facing the Problem. I request you to monitor the service centres properly or else Sony India brand will loose the trust of Customers.
Am also purchase the LED 28 inch TV on[protected] and ask for wall mount installation but still on[protected] no one comes to me it is bad experience from sony Brand.
Full negligence about customers.
I purchased Sony led 40 inch TV on 30th Dec 2013 .For the past 1 month 1/2 of display shows pic .Enquired with Sony service people, asked to change it for 15000.having purchased a brand leader for 40 000 and incurring such a heavy problem profoundly upsets me.My brother purchased another brand same model (LG) still working nicely. Kindly consider and do a favour at the earliest for your faith ful customer.

I have purchased a Sony TV model No.KDL-55W800D on 28.04.2016 the same installed on 01.05.2016.there is a problem in my TV so I called the customer care on 7th May 16 and complain register vied ID 32087277, they send me an address of the service company. On 09-05-16 I called the service company and asked them when they are visiting they said your area (Tondiyarpet -Chennai) not in our RANGE SCOPE. So again I called Sony customer care and informed. They said we will send the order to the company looking after your area. Till 11.05.16 no technician so I contacted the Sony customer care again this time also they registered a complaint vied ID 32158567 and again referring to the same company which is not servicing in our area. Kindly see what the best can be done in my case.

I have purchased a Sony LED tv 50W800D on 30th April in Bangalore.

Within few days observed that TV hangs and its coordination with remote goes off after some time.

I have called customer care @ [protected] on 19th may and updated about the issue.

They have provided me a reference # 32281493 and assigned the complaint to Vigneshwar services @ Bangalore.

executive came and updated that TV has issue and it needs to be replaced.

Since then I am trying to follow up with Vigneshwar services @ Bangalore but no one care to respond.

Horrible experience of service from Sony.


I am unable to view TV and suffering from last 1 month.

my SONY mdr 100 headphones hav countered a problem wich wid the help of service centre was replaced by SONY MDR 110 headphones which is not supported by my sony xperia mini phone and is of no use for me now
I am Purchase Sony TV Bravia Model No KLV -40R452A on Dt 27.11.13, Within 1.5 Years its having a mother board problem . From 9.5.15 to 3.10.16, I change it 3 Times on Dt 9.5.15, 13.10.15 and now 3.10.16, every time I pay 6000/- .
With deep anguish and humiliation I am writing this complaint that Sony has sold me a defective product which is giving the same problem again and again..
Now since I have purchased the Sony TV of your Company, I find that the ball is in your court so I would like you to take up necessary corrective action.
I feel very disgusted & harassed by the way my complaints are handled by your service personnel.
.I want that either you replace my defective system or refund my money as I am fedup with your product and of your service personnel responses.
After going through my case you can very well judge that I am being unnecessarily harassed by your faulty services and faulty product, Pre buying image of your product has been shattered after pro buying.
