[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — Service and repairs

I had got the Joy stick of my Sony-Ericsson K750i repaired from a Sony-Ericsson service center in Gurgaon, but after 2 days of that the phone display went white, and when I took the phone back to the service center the manager refused to handle the phone he said that the phone may have got damaged due to the software getting corrupted or some problem in the main board of the phone, how ever he confirmed that the Cap of the Joystick was not fixed properly. The cold response from the the Store manager made me write to the Sony-Ericsson customer service mail id, how ever I did not get any response from them.

Sony Ericsson K 530i — blocking of the handset

sir,

this is ranjeet saini. ..i bought a sony ericsson handset in the month of november 20008 and the mobile i was using was stolen by some one . so kindly block the handset ..i have talked to Idea customer care but they are helpless to this concern. further to prove my truth i am also providing u the email that was reverted to me when i say them to block the sim...

Do not buy SONY ERICSSON mobile phones. Sony customer service is dead and there is no one responsible for the products. The products are inferior quality.
I have give my Sony erricission mobile W960 i for screen replacment under warranty on 7th April 09 to M/S Salora in Ahmedabad. They have returned it back on 18th April saying that the spares are not available and they are closing their service station. After that I gave my phone to M/S Teknique Ahmedabad on 21st April and till today they have not even bother to give a courtsey call and tell me the
spare will be reaching ASAP.
What kind of legal action can be Take, Kindly advise

I Bought my sony ericson mobile G700 on 28.05.09...after 3 days Mobile not working properely and it frequently getting restarted . my complaint no is SE[protected] . till now no action has been taken and there is no proper response from your end I am really not interested using that mobile.So I request you to replace the new G700 Mobile instrument.

sony ericsson mobile k810i — the phone I purchased with warranty is not working

on 04/012009 .
I paid 11049 Rs on the same day for that.and the mobile is having warranty for one year.The mobile stopped working in may 2009 and I gave it to the sony ericson servicing centre in Thrissur Kerala on 14 th may 2009.They told me that they had to send the mobile to chennai for repairing.now it is almost one and a half months since I gave the mobile and I have'nt got it back .So Iam patiently waiting for your reply for knowing what to do next to get my mobile back.

i had bought the mobile f305 from u dealer and i want to show this set at ur service centre which is at jodhpur. but when i try to check this set at ur service centre, the person which was there he told me that u have to show the bill because sony ericsson does not see the seriel no. of the set on net.

Sonysony Ericsson K220i Mobile Phone — HARASSMENT AND POOR SERVICES

I have submitted my ear phones on 26th December which are not recovered yet . when i went to service center placed at sec-40 Chandigarh they said that there is no sony service center and few days ago I have had problem in handset.However, I submitted it on 1st of june on which they demanded 10 days and i went on 26th of june but handset is still not working.I have a very busy schedule and cant waste much time on these things.I therefore requested you to take some initiative against them and solve this matter amicably.

1. Phone is getting hanged at least once in 2 days for 10-15 min. then starts automatically.
2. Calls are getting dropped off in-between,
3. Memory card problems,
4. Keypad problems
5. Very poor battery backup
Went to service station and now they said they will replace some body parts of handset but they won't give me complete replacement.

It's of very poor quality...we R spending 7K on it and it's not working only...I don't kw what kind of cell Sony Ericson is producing...plz don't buy at least this handset...n I suggest not to go for any SOny Ericson Hand set if we face this kind of problems in a 15 days o[censored]se. When they are pricing the things too high i.e. 7K and above they should be caseful about all these .
i am thoroughly disappointed and regret going in for SONY ERICSON.I request u to kindly give me a replacement.

sony ericsson mobile phone c-702 — malfunctioning

purchased on 02.08.08.experiencing problems such as not showing calls (outgoing, missed ), cyber shot camera being activated on its own, appearence of the shortcut menu inspite of phone being locked, showing incorrect delivery time of messages, switching off on its own etc.right from beginning.

Sony Ericsson, W760i — Warranty

We purchased Sony W760 on 3rd August 08 and this phone was under warranty for 1 year, In April this phone went dead and we contacted sony ericsson, We were asked to contact service Agents for repair, the service agent refused to accept phone and agreed to accept only if we pay service charges, Now sony is claiming that since damage in phone is liquid damage this phone is not under warranty, On discussions we were told since in summers everyone sweats and while talking on phone this enters instrument and gets damaged, I have query since phone is sold to be used in India and sweating is normal practice the instruments should be designed for Indian conditions, But i am not able to reach any where,
Now i am being asked for Rs 12000 to get the phone repaired.
This is disgusting for inferior product provided Sony Ericsson is not willing to accept there liability under warranty.

Sony Ericsson — Harrasment made to customer by sonyericsson service centre

Purchased a new mobile Cybershot C510(Black) from Accel Frontline Services Pvt Ltd.

I have been harassed by the kind of service that Sony Ericsson service centre(s) are providing as my mobile has some problem because of which i have repeatedly given it for servicing for nearly 10 times from the date i have purchased (May'09) but the problem is still not rectified and they are not even responsible for replacing the piece which has many problems.

I have taken my mobile to the Sony Ericsson service centre which is located near SP road Secunderabad but there is no proper response.

W580i Sony Ericsson Mobile — Display Problem in Mobile

Hi,
I had purchased a Sony Ericsson W580i phone around 1 year back at T.Nagar, Chennai and after 6 months the phone started giving display problem (i.e. the LCD started showing lines and after few days it stopped displaying completely) and when I went to the SONY authorized service centre at Chennai they told its because of the sweat the water could have gone inside and spoiled the LCD (the reason what they give has surprised me because we stay in a hot country and I think every one sweats) and told me as my phone was under warranty they will replace it completely without me paying any money. Now after 6 months of service I started facing the same problem again and when I went back to the service centre they said you warranty has expired and you need to pay Rs.1500/- for the phone to be get repaired.
For the POOR Quality of Service what SONY ERICSSON promises to their customers?

Sony Ericsson W310i — service center not accepting complaints

i am a owner of sony ericsson handset w310i. i have problems with my handset regarding its screen and slider and it is under warranty but when i went to the service center (gorakhpur <uttar pradesh) the response i got was not fair enough and i was denied for the repairment of my handset.
i purchased sony ericson k750i since 27th june 2009, but they did not give warrenty becouse of the company that stop the model on market. now i have a complaint that is my mobile loose the charge with in hrs. what i will do ? kindly give a good solution for stay charge on that mobile. all the acessories with battery that used in the mobile are true and company maded originals.

Sony Ericsson — Serval time accurance of problems in the Handset

I purchased a sony ericsson handset G502i in November-2009 and with in span of 6 months i have given service for 3times

1: There was a problem of connecting port..then it has been replaced

2: There was a hanging problem then entire mother board has been replaced..

3: Now it is auto-restart problem and non-detection of enhancements...


Every time they have taken more than 15days for getting service..For the 2nd problem they have taken 1month for the service..

For the 3rd problem currently they have taken more than 10days..still i have not got my cell back they are just keep postponening the dates
with all kinds of problems i'm fed of this Handset

So please, Kindly take this problems seriously..
kindly inform this to MANGER and please get me a new handset..
