Sony — hard disk crashed | |||
I purchased sony vaio E series laptop one year back and just after the completion of 1 year warranty period ( exactly speaking after10 days after warranty) hard disk got crashed. And I have to replace the hard disk and for that I spent over 6000 inr and the most funny thing is that even though after warranty period we are obliged to obey company's rules that supPose 320 gb hdd had to be replaced we had to replace with 500 gb , even if its actually necessary or not for the customer, anyway I am going with 500 gb. So I humbly request all VAIO users to go for extended warranty i[censored] had not done it so far, otherwise u may get screwed. AKHIL.G.S Asst.Manager HLL LIFECARE LTD. I have Sony Vaio VEPCEB24EN model . 2 months after purchase my Hard disk got crashed & when i went to the service centre they replaced my 320 gb hard disk with 500 gb hard disk at free of cost & took 5-7 days to replace it . Since then my laptop is working absolutely fine at the moment and recently i have upgrade my laptop with windows 8 pro and it is working fine at the moment.

Sony VAIO — HARD DISK CRASH
I had purchased Sony Vaio just 20 days back from USA. Back in India, when i switched it on it stopped booting. In Local Service Centre i was told its hard disk has crashed & its warranty is also not valid here.
