Problem within 1 yr 8 months of purchase
Hi this is Kiran Sathyanarayan , i had purchased sony bravia KLV -32V400 on the 1st jan 2009.. but post 1 yr and 8 months i started facing problem with the screen , the screen goes bright till pictures turning hazy ..i registered a compliant with their service center the approx expense for the same is said to be 10,000 - 15000 rs
The service guys says they need to check the electrical part --and they dont repair they directly replace eitheir their panel or board with a new one.
when the product was sold it was promised to be the best brand , brand with no service problems , parts are the best in the world.
THIS IS THE REAL SO CALLED SONY WHO SELL FAULTY PIECES AT EXORBITANT RATE ....THEIR PRODUCT LIFE LAST FOR 1 1/2 YRS ..THEN THOSE PARTS ARE NOT REPAIRED BUT REPLACED ....AN INNOVATIVE WAY OF EXTRACTING MONEY FROM THOSE WHO OWN THEIR PRODUCTS....BRAVO
I still dont know how much i would have to spend in the coming years
DEFINATELY WONT RECOMMEND SONY TO ANY NEW PURCHASER ....SHAME ON SONY FOR FOLLOWING A DIRTY AND CHEAP PRACTISE
