Yes what ever Sundar says is absolutely true. We are facing this problem from many days. Nobody form railways care for this. Some day the people may throw them out from the train, then the railway people may consider out request.

Iam a Frequent Traveller in Malabar Express from Chengannur to Trivandrum, the train is suppose to reach Kazhakuttam(Technopark) at 8:25, but the train is always late by 30 minutes, provided this is the
only Train Stopping at Kazhakuttam during Office Hours, If This Train is Meant for Office People why is it
not in time, hundreds of people travel by this single train and if the train is late by 30 minutes daily
all the office have to change the timings because of this Train.I think this will Affect the Developement of the State, if there is no proper Transportation Available then why is Indian Railways Holding maximum
number of Employees in Public Sector, there is no use.



For the Return Journey there is no stop for this Train at Kazhakuttam, The only Train Available is Vanchinadu Express and a Passenger Train only till Kollam.

There is no seperate counter for taking platform ticket in DAVANGERE.If we want to take platform ticket we have to stand in ihe ticket counter q if we stand there we have to wait for atleast 20min.Because of this no one will take platform ticket.

Sub: Irregularity in timings at ferokr railway station reservation counter.

I would like to bring your attention on delay opening of the reservation counter at feroke railway station after the breake ( 9.30 am to 9.45 am )on 10/06/2011. The cashier only attend the duty only at 10.00 am. It makes many inconvenience to me on that day . So I humbly request you to take necessary action against that cashier

Train Services — Why Special trains are always late by 4 to 5 hrs

as part of Fin Year[protected], 12749/12750 Kurla(LTT) to Vishakhapatnam express train has been introduced in the Railway budget, as I stay in Pune, and I often travel to Vijayawada and from last two years I have traveled 6 times in this train, and all these times this train is late by atleast 3 hrs... if Indian Railways wants to change it's timings why can't they do that.. why Families with kids or old age people need to sit and waiting for this train to come... and more over there won't be sufficient information by Pune Station Authorities also, any ways that's a different story all a round

Suggestion for New Train Services at (Nagore) Pilgrims

So many people Visited at Nagore Dargah & Vellankani Church. So. pls. consider that one.

This is one of the Tourist Spot in Tamilnadu

Nagore-Vellore Cantt. Daily Exp.
The Broad gauge converted Vellore Cantt – Villupuram section has not yet been opened for passenger traffic and is under Gauge conversion. At present there are no train services on Villupuram-Vellore Cantt section. Moreover, neither at Vellore Cantt. nor at Nagore terminal facilities such as pitline, stabling lines are available for originating trains.

I am Regulary going Chennai to Ajmeer at the year of 5 to 6 times. But we don't have Straing train in Chennai to Ajmeer Jn. I am going to Jaipur Jn and Pickup the another train at Ajmeer.

Chennai to Jaipur train will be reached at Jaipur Morning 5.55.AM, I am waiting for Minimum 3:30Hours in another train to Ajmeer for (Eg) Aravalli Express leave at Jaipur 8:30AM i reaching at Ajmeer in 10.50AM

Note: 12967 & 12968 {in this train Running Successfully in MAS to JP weekly 3days, But it will be Extened in one day Coimbatore Jn to Jaipur (Train No:12969 & 12970 FRI & TUE)}

So. pls consider to Weekly one day we have reach directly in MAS to AII Jn

It will be very useful to Pilgrims & Tourists

So, Pls consider this route immediately

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a regular passenger from Avadi to Chennai Central for the past 3 years. My complaint is about the trains from avadi to central or beach is not cleaned properly. Eventhough some idoits and stupids are using the local trains as a bathroom. Because of this attitude some seats are not occupied by the passengers as well as a non toleratable smell is coming. Everybody has to close the nose till they reaches central. And some of peoples are putting theri wates in down side of the seats like a dustbin. But now its the time of rainy season with this waste and rainy water a bad smell is occuring when we enter into the train. Kindly look into this matter and do a favor. I am asking this in behalf of all the passengers from avadi to chennai central and beach.

Student — regarding train late and availability of pantry car

the chambal express, from gwalior to howrah, is declared superfast train. But it did not running in time after announcement. It has no pantry car. So, many problems we are facing, during traveling :
1) it did not running in time from last two years,
2) no pantry car available in the train,
3) in AC coaches bed rolls are unwashed,
4) the train was late from jhansi to allahabad every time,
5) again the train was late from allahabad to jhansi.
so ,please look in to the mater.

I'm working at Kottayam and a rugalar traveller in the Morning Ernakylam-Kottayam Passenger. I board from Piravam Road Station. As per the schedule the train should reach at Pvm Rd at 8:10 AM. However the train reaches only after 8:30 AM. For the last 2-3 days the train is alarmingly late and reached only at 9 AM. The crossing to the Kollam Ernakulam Passenger is always at Mulanthuruthy Station. It may be noted that the EKM- KTM passenger has to wait for at least 15-20 mintus daily at Mulanthuruthy for the Kollam EKM passenger to reach. If the Crossing is rescheduled to PVM RD, I think at least 15 minutes can be saved.

Sub: To bring attention of authorities to get stoppage of Train At Aluva.

Aluva Railway station is the Gateway of Kochi. Apart from the passengers of Kochi city, the nearby areas like Paravoor, Perumbavoor, Kothamangalam, Muvattupuzha, Kalamassery, Kakkanad, Nedumbsry Airport, Idukki district, etc depends Aluva as a convenient station. But unfortunately many new trains have no stoppage at Aluva. Most of the daily trains like Janashadabdi, Chennai superfast, Ernad express etc stops only at Ernakulam junction station
After Thrissur. Due to heavy traffic it will take many hours to reach Aluva from Ernakulam junction by Road at the daytime.

Train no.16605/16606 Ernad Express is passing through the Aluva at 8.30.A.M. to Kasargode side and 3.50 P.M. to Trivandrum side. If this train get a stoppage at Aluva it will be very useful to hundreds of employees. Please note that this train stops at the stations like Valapattanam, Payyoli, Vallikkunnu, etc from where only 4 or 5 passengers are boarding. If this train would get stoppages at important stations like Aluva, Pattambi, etc it will be very useful to hundreds of daily passengers.

Hence, I kindly request you to bring this matter before the concerned authorities.

Train Journey Southern Railway — IMPROPER STOPPAGE OF TRAIN

THIS COMPLAIT IS TO DRM/ADRM SOUTHERN RAILWAY THIRUVANANTHAPURAM

I TRVELLED ON 30/8/2011 FROM SHASTHANKOTTA (STKT) TO ERS ON 16304 VANCHINAD EXP PNR [protected]. MY COACH C1 WAS CONFIRMED TO BE 5TH FROM ENGINE.
HOWEVER WHEN THE TRAIN CAME IT STOPPED WITH ENGINE AT THE POSITION OF 7 TH COACH.

BEING A SENIOR CITIZEN IFOUND IT IMPOSSIBLE TO RUN ABOUT 7 COACH LENGTHS.
THINKING THAT IT IS WESTIBULE TRAIN I GOT IN TO THE IST COMPARTMENT BUT FOUND IT NOT VESTIBULED AND IN THE NEXT STATION I GOT IN TO THE NEXT COMPARTMEN WHICH ALSO WAS NOT VESTIBULED. FINALLY AT KAYAMKULAM I GOT IN TO MY COMPARTMENT.

I AM SURE THIS WAS NOTT INTENSIONAL BUT JUST CARELESS EXECUTION OF THE DUTY BY THE DRIVER REASONS FOR WHICH ARE
a) THE DRIVER HAS NOT TAKEN HIS DUTY SERIOUSLY

b) THERE IS NO CHECK ON THEIR PERFORMANCE.

I HOPE YOU WILL TAKE PROPER ACTION AGAIST THE CONCERNED BECAUSE CARELESSNESS IS A HABIT.

CARELESSNES WOULD COST MANY LIVES EVEN.

Southern Railways — LOSS DUE TO CANCELLATION OF SERVICE

Sir,

I booked a ticket through online (www.irctc.com) under taktkal scheme, Journey from Tirupur to Chennai Central by train No. 12676 Kovai Expres, Journey Date is 14.09.2011&PNR No. [protected] and another ticket from Chennai Central to Bhubaneswar under taktkal scheme, Train No.12840 Howrah Mail JOurney Date is 14.09.2011 PNR No. is [protected].

Due to unfortunate accdient near Katpadi, the service of 12676 on 14.09.2011 was cancelled. There was no proper information about the same. I wa planned to travel from Tirupur to Chennai by 12676 & catch the howrah mail 12840 on the same day night at 11.40 pm. Due to cancellation of 12676 I can not catch the train 12840. Hence, as per the advice railway official at tirupur, I had to cancel both the tickets. However I received refund of full amount on the cancelled ticket of the cancelled train 12676. But on the cancellation of Howrah mail ticket I did not any refund. I lost Rs. 1332/- by way of ticket cancellation and again I had to bok tickets for another day.

If the railways informed me by way of sms, my mobile number is already with the railways, i could have arranged another mens of transort to Chennai from Tirupur and boarded in the howrah mail of 14.09.2011.

Apart from the ticket fare also lost my 3 valuable day's salary, which comes around Rs. 3000/-

I request your goodself to enquire in this regard and grant compansation accordingly.

I want to some clarification for this question?

I was booked the ticket[protected] for Shatabdi in MYS to MAS. When i was booked the ticket he given some preference for Food
Veg/Non-Veg. I was preferred to Non-Vegetarian.

When i was journey on the day[protected]. I was eated only Vegetarian.

I was asked to Catering person, He told as No Preferred Non-Vegetarian.

My question is why is asking to when i am booking the ticket?

Are you want to Vegetarian/Non-Vegetarian.

Podhigai Express Train passengers are complaining of bug menace in the train. They also charge that the train is not maintained properly.

புகாருக்கு நடவடிக்கை இல்லை

இந்நிலையில் கடந்த வாரம் இரண்டாம் வகுப்பில் சென்னை பயணம் செய்த ஒருவர் மூட்டை கடியால் அவதிப்பட்டு நேற்று முன்தினம் திரும்பி வரும்போது ஏசி பெட்டியில் வந்துள்ளார். ஆனால் ஏசி பெட்டியிலும் மூட்டை கடி விட்டு வைக்கவில்லை என புலம்பினார்.மூட்டைப்பூச்சிக�...⇄ கடிக்கு ஆளாகும் வயதானவர்கள் முழு தூக்கத்தையும் இழந்து நோய்வாய்படும் சூழ்நிலை நிலவி வருகிறது. இதுகுறித்து ரயில்வே உயர் அதிகாரிகளிடம் பல முறை புகார் செய்தும் எவ்வித நடவடிக்கையும் இல்லை என பயணிகள் குமுறுகின்றனர். எனவே ரயில்வே நிர்வாகம் விரைந்து நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டுமென்பது பொதிகை ரயில் பயணிகளின் கோரிக்கையாகும்.

Southern Railway — Inconvenience of stairs in guindy

No additional Stairs in 3rd & 4th platform in guindy railway station for enough crowd...Stairs not constructed properly...

I am sudhakar staying at gummidipoondi since 50 years our 2 nos railway crossing now under construction as a fly over. you declare that the LC .No TVU 3, 19, 176(730) SPL LC 33 construction may be complected with in three month in the hanging notice board at the same LC location. but the construction is not complected so far that means near 6 months, also the work is going very slow 1 or 2 are working in the fly over at the both the end of the gummidipoondi there are two bridges in construction. please try to do as soon as possible
people are getting to much trouble for crossing or going to town, schools, business, and offices
for your notice between to madras the distance is nothing but 47 Kms since 50years i am seeing that no local units are running in time please take necessary actions

Southern railway chennai suburb local train — train left 2 minutes before time

local suburb emu train from tiruvallur to chennai at 10.00 dated 8th feb 2012 have left 2 mins early from station. When i questioned this, station master got angry with me.
