[Resolved]  Southern Railways - Chennai Suburb - CGL To B — Requirement of Middle ladies compartment in car Ladies

Dear Sir/Madam,

There are thousands of Passengers who were students and employees of various sectors uses the train to reach their destination every day.

We around 2000~3000 people are traveling from Perungalathur to Various Parts of the Chennai city a day. the latest modification done by the Railways in 9 CAR Ladies compartment is not convenient for most of the people from Chengalpet to Perungalathur. Particularly we people from Perungalathur are the most affected. we are not able to even board in to the compartments as most of the people getting done in Tambaram occupies the passage to enter.

Previously there were no such issues as there were three compartments for the ladies (in front, middle and last). Also most of the times the train comes with a Two seated arrangement. For people traveling long distance, they are forced to sit in the passage and there is no place to board into the train for the People boarding at Perungalathur station.

One day we people were forced to get down at the Tambaram station by the crowed in the last ladies compartment. One of friend got injured in her hand and we were in a hurry to reach our office too. The pity here is we became as a entertainment to the guard. He is just looking at the people fighting to get down from and get in to the train, and having fun. Look, how we are treated by the Railway Employees?
We are paying money to travel in the train and most of the times we will miss the train we have to catch because of the crowd and reach the office late.

Most of the customers/passengers of Chennai Suburban is facing this problem every day. Southern Railway should take action on this in any one of the following ways.
1. Re-modify the Compartments as they were Before. Ladies compartment in Front, middle and last.
2. Modify all the trains to 12 CAR
3. Increase the Frequency of the Trains from CGL-B
