[Resolved]  Spice Hotspot — Counterfeit Accessories sold at the store and fraudulent sales practices

My name is Gunjan Taneja and I have been one of the very recent victims of fraudulent and unethical sales practices at Spice Hotspot. I went to the store at E-7 Main Market, Kalkaji, where a sales man named Aftab Ansari (Employee ID 5283) sold Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phone worth Rs 35500. He promised that, along with the phone, he will download applications of my choice worth Rs 3000 on the phone, basis which I made a decision to purchase the phone from them. Since, it was late in the evening and his internet connection was not working, he asked me to come to the store some other day for installation of the applications. He also did not give me a computerised bill during the purchase due to a system error. Further, he asked me if I would also want to purchase Samsung's original flip cover for the phone, to which I agreed and asked him to send his colleague to my office in Okhla along with the cover and bill. He was extremely prompt in sending his colleague with the phone cover but the person did not bring the bill (which raised my suspicion). However, I asked him to put the phone cover on. To my surprise, the cover was not fitting onto the phone properly. While, he was doing his business, I went online to check if the Flip Cover is original or counterfeit. I was shocked to find out that this guy was trying to sell me a counterfeit Samsung accessory that too without a bill. I refused to take the flip cover.

I still kept my patience while he was trying to cheat me, however, I received the final blow when I went to the store for application installation. To my surprise, the person refused to install every single application I wanted as they were paid applications, despite promising applications worth INR 3000 during the sale. Further, he misbehaved with me and told me that "I don't give a damn about this job and you may go and complaint to anyone you wish to". He further said "you can do nothing about it and you may go cry in front of whoever you want". I was horrified to hear this and to realize that a company like Spice has such employees and follow such fraudulent practices of selling counterfeit products.

I want to claim Rs 3000 in refund or I should be given applications worth of Rs 3000 which I was committed while selling the phone.
