I have been trying spicejet customer care for the past 2 days to know the status of the flight but either the customer care numbers provided are out of order or not at working.

Ticket from Pune to Delhi — Double debit on my single ticket

The ticket to Delhi from Pune was booked on 19 oct 2009. Because of some the ticket was not confirmed & so I tried second time and this time the ticket was booked & it showed confirmation too.
So the first ticket was cancelled. And this payment was done through my HDFC credit card No. [protected]. And now I could see that there was double debit the same ticket, so insted of Rs.4750/- the amount dedited is Rs. 4750/- + Rs. 4750/- i.e. the total amt of Rs. 9500/- is debited. It is requested to you to reverse this the extra amt debited as first ticket was cancelled. So hoping from you to do this fever as soon as possible. Looking for your positive & quick action.

I am Dr. Meera Manavalan a passenger who travelled on Spice jet from Varanasi to Chennai via Delhi on Sunday the 11th of October 2009.I travelled with 2 co-passengers Dr. Divarker and Raji Divarker.I spoke to you when we were in Delhi and I am writing this letter at your suggestion so that this kind of incident is not repeated.
The three o[censored]s travelled from Chennai to Varanasi on 8th October also on Spice jet and our luggage was booked through to Varanasi.We specifically chose this flight so we didn't have the hassle of taking out our luggage in Delhi and re-booking.We also got our boarding tickets for both sectors in Chennai.
On our return trip we checked in early at Varanasi and were told that the flight was late .The checking in lady told us that she was not sure we would make the connection so she was booking our luggage upto Delhi and that it was going to be loaded in last so that it would come out fast.The flight scheduled to take off at 1605hrs from Varanasi finally took off at 1705hrs.
When we reached Delhi there was an announcement that passengers proceeding to Chennai should meet the ground staff. The flight to Chennai was then boarding.When we contacted the ground staff he asked us to stand on a side and then took us to the gangway.At the gangway they asked for our boarding passes which we didn't have.We noticed passengers who had checked in AFTER us boarding this flight. We brought this to the notice of your staff but they continued to ask us for our boarding passes.By this time our patience had run out as your ground satff insinuated it was our fault for not having the boarding pass.They then said they would TRY to get us on the next flight to Chennai via Pune which they said would arrive in Chennai at 0200hrs! It sounded as if they were doing us a favour.We brought it to their notice that we had PAID for these tickets and they had to get us on the Chennai flight which was boarding because it was the fault of the airline.He then said he would try to get us on board but couldn't guarantee our luggage.When we asked if the airline would deliver the bags at home he said no. Did he expect us to hang around at the airport till 0200hrs to collect our luggage ? We told them that if they delayed the flight a few minutes they could transfer our luggage and get the boarding passes issued but they claimed they couldn't delay the flight for 5 passengers(there were 2 more people who were in the same situation as us).Finally they didn't let us board and we had to catch the later flight to Chennai via Pune.We are professionals ( doctors)who had to work the next day.( Monday)
I would like to point out some facts
1) the delayed departure from Varanasi was the fault of Spice Jet. We had to wait one hour extra to catch the flight but your airline couldn't wait a few minutes to get us on board.
2) your ground staff is poorly trained and can't handle emergency situations.They are arrogant and have poor people skills.They sounded as if they were doing us a favour !!They should have admitted it was the airline's fault from the start. We would have understood because anyone can make a mistake. Instead they made it sound as if the fault was ours.
3) When we arrived at the checking in counter at Delhi( where you happened to be standing) the staff was so inefficient sending us from one counter to another. It in no use having pretty faces alone.They need to be friendly and courteous and EFFICIENT.We got the feeling "when you pay peanuts you get monkeys!" But as my colleague pointed out we were not paying peanuts ...but the efficiency was that of a cheap airline.( Like Deccan used to be)
4) we were informed by your staff at checking in that the flight would reach Chennai at 0140hrs. We then informed our driver to come at that time.But the flight reached at 1240hrs!We had to hang around at the airport till he came.
We are frequent travellers and chose Spicejet because of the connection.I will certainly think many times before I fly SpiceJet again.With airlines like Kingfisher and Jet giving such good service it is worth paying the extra to travel in peace.
I hope you will take the necessary steps to see that this kind of incident does not happen again and that you will spend more time training your staff on handling such situations.

I have travelled by spicejet from delhi to mumbai on 5th dec 2009 sg-109. i have very terrible and very bad experience with to explain...

i have not thought of this before booking flight...such a CARELESS people are there in even they can't listen to customer...

I have baggage compalaint registered with cust care (24788) 3 times and every time i ask i am getting updates that ...

we tried to call u and u were not reachable...though i have provided 3 contact no's

our system is not working...then do update it otherwisw collect some fund and update it..

our server is not responding...then do replce that by collecting fund or just do hand over it to anyone...kingsfisher...jet airways...
On 7/12/2009, I have booked a ticket of 2 passengers through online booking of my journey from Bangalore to Delhi of which departing date is 19/12/2009 and departing time is 16:40 hrs of flight no SG-254 wherein an amount of Rs. 10752 was deducted from my SBI account but no ticket was booked. I kindly request you to go through this matter and book us the same tickets and send it to my e-mail conviniently within the date of my journey.

First of all you shouldnt post your credit card number online. it can be used by anyone.
second please contact railway people or hdfc to report your matter.
I agree with this comment. I am unable to get through the Call center number. I have to get my refund amount from Spicejet.

Spice Jet Airlines — cacellation of flight delhi to kolkata on 21.1.2010 at 14.35 sg-212

above said flight has been cacelled at 12.00 hrs. while on telephone at 11.00hrs thay told me flight will takeoff at right time. this is cheating with coustomer. spice jet official do not adjust in other flight while in other fligh having many seats,other flight take the advantage of this and increase fair.due to this i have suffered a loss of Rs.6500.00. what i will do.
I had availed journey with five no. of passengers by Flight No.-SG881 at Baghdogra on 09.01.2010, 4pm to Delhi. During journey by said Flight, we had lost three boarding pass out of six at Delhi Air Port, which details are gived as below-
1.Shahnaz praveen, PNR NO.-J4GLBT
2.Sohaib Akhtar, PNR NO.-J4GLBT
3.Noor Hussain, PNR NO.-X4JNCR
It is, therefore, requested to issue the duplicate Boarding Pass of them as early as possible, so we can claim our fare from our office for reimbursement as it is essential to show the proof of journey details.

Hello,

I was to travel in flight SG 237 on 27th Jan 10 which was scheduled at 15:15. I got a call from Spicejet stating that my flight is delayed and there is an available flight SG 221 at 15:45 and they want me to confirm if they can move me to SG 221. I confirmed it as I had important appointment with a client at 20:00 on the same day.
When I was waiting for the flight on the airport, I heard the announcement that flight SG 221 is delayed and it will take off at 18:30. I was disappointed to hear that, later I came to know that the flight SG 237 is on time and it will take off at 15:15, I was surprised to know this, I went to the customer help desk on airport where the representative told me that it was my mistake to change the flight. I was shocked to hear such words from him but I knew that I was fooled and can't do anything about it.
Still I have a question in my mind, was that my mistake to believe the Spicejet representative?
I lost about RS.45000 because of the Spicejet representative's wrong information.

i have booked pune-calcatta flight travelling on 1st March with 3 partners now i have got sms that the flight is cancelled i have booked tickets before 2 months now the spice jet 11.30 flight fare is 6212/- and i booked it for 3224/- now they r not giving me for same fare what the use then i booked it before 2 months?????????????????

Sir,
I was travelling from majestic to BTM on 9th april 2010 at 7.45. the driver cum conductor asked me to show the pass. i have show the pass and id card by mistake i dint put signature on it.so he didnt return the pass he told me to come and collect tommorow from depot manager, the next day i went and asked in majestic busstation but they told nothing is reported like that.so what can i do now. because of such irresponsiblity from a driver i lost my 600 rs.

I received several phone call from your spicejet sbi card department from banglore from Phone number +91 [protected], + 91 [protected], +[protected]. The person is frequently doing phone call on my cell phone for the card and I have reply for the same and he suggested me to send a person for the further formalities. Inspite of this he again and again call me for the same information and uncessary wasting my time and money as my cell on romaing. But when i leave for mumbai from vadodara he again call at home and my mumbai phone is with my wife he tell my wife to give call to me but when my wife told him that he has already left for mumbai he became angry and told her that no you are telling lie and not giving phoen to your husband. so my told him not to call again but he use some abusing langugae and told her that i will call you regularly and harrest you on phone what you will do? So my wife is very scare for the issue and again when call came from the above number he given call to my son 13 yeards old so again that person is using abusing language to my child too. so they call me at mumbai for the same I have a record for my phone call and number too in my telphonic bill for which i have already applyfor the same for record.
So immediatley I need a answer and name of the person who is doing this from your record if i will not getting it whithin Two days then I will launch a complain at local police station for the harrestment and threat which was given by your person for the same he also told that he will send a person at my place so immedately give me answer for the same ...Dilip shah

Jet Airways — wrong sms regarding departure of flight

I have booked a ticket in Jet Airways on[protected] to Bangalore to Mumbai through internet. The PNR is IHKCMS. On[protected] the journey day i have received a SMS from your side that the flight is rescheduled at 7.30 pm at 1.30 pm instead of scheduled departure at 4.25 pm. later again received a message that the flight is rescheduled at 7.45 pm. When I reached at airport at 6 and asked for boarding pass at around 6.15 pm your people informed that flight is rescheduled at 6.45pm and boarding is not possible. Later when showed the message from my mobile they have arranged my travel in next flight.

Your are well aware that people will book in flight for urgent travel. Actually I was to attend a meeting at Mumbai on the same day and i was not able to do so causing lot of problems. Further because of wrong message i was upset and found it very difficult to reach Kharghar where I was stayed that day.

I was not expecting this type of service from Jet Airways which is known for its service earlier. Dont give this type wrong message and make people suffer for your fault.
My pnr no is C3RFBA. I was traveling from gau to kol on 21.08/2010 by Sg 529. After i reached kolkata airport i found my baggage missing. Baggage no is SG[protected]. They are not able to trace yet. Everytime i am calling them they say they dont have updates.How CARELESS can they be. I am very disappointed. All my baggages were together when i checked in. Howcome this bag was misplaced. I have expensive items on the bag worth 15000 rupees. I will never fly with spice jet again.

Spice Jet Airlines — Indecent behaviour

This complaint is in regards to the flight no. SG913 from Jaipur to Ahmedabad on the 22nd of July. The flight was scheduled to take off at 2:00 p.m. However, the crew members kept the passengers waited for 5 hours and finally the flight took off at 07:00 p.m. And, to make matters worse, the pilot, Captain Phusilo came out of the cockpit and started shouting and yelling at the passengers, including Param Pujya Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu who was seated in the first row. This was an extremely indecent behaviour on the part of the airline company and I request an immediate apology from the airline company. The non-Indian pilot does not know anything about our Hindu culture and he has not right to show his frustration on a Hindu saint.

Immediate action be taken against the company.
