[Resolved]  Staff Selection Commission — No vacancy for VH candidates

Address:Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh

Respected sir,
I Azhar Husain Ansari am a visually disabled person with 70% of disability in both of my eyes. I have a complain with staf selection commission.
The matter is that in the month of February I appeared for SSC multi tasking staf examination under VH category and when the results for the same declared in the month of August, I found the result for UR, OBC, SC, ST, Ex Servicemen and OH category were declaired and there was no column for VH candidates. I contacted the regional director of CR region to know that why there is no declaration of result for any VH candidate, he replied that post for only OH category are available however any other PH candidate could have passed under UR, OBC, SC, ST category based on there merit.
Now the question is that if they did not have any post for VH candidates then why did they accept their applications?
Why did they send them call letter to appear in the exam and provided them Scots?
According to the saying of the regional director of SSC CR region if you are OH you are provided with a separate merit and if you are handicapped other then OH then you have to compete with your main category( UR, OBC, SC, ST ) What does it mean?
According to PWD act 1995 there is 1% reservation for visually handicapped in all government as well as private sector jobs except some areas like army. If SSC is giving the benefit of reservation to ST candidates on 71 marks then why they are not giving the same benefit to VH candidates on 71+ marks in the same exam?
They say that they have vacancy for OH candidates only and at the same time they say that if a PH other than OH gets qualifying marks in the same exam according to the merit based on his/her mane category, they will declare him passed. In this situation, from where the post will be brought for him?
These are some issues that are needed to be asked from the related authorities but the big question is that who will ask them and how?
Who will tell them that if they don’t have vacancy for any particular category then they should clearly mention it in the advertisement notice?
Sir I want to know that if there is any authority that is working to help the disabled regarding these types of matters then please inform me.
I will be obliged to you
Thanking you
Sincerely
Azhar Husain Ansari
