without taking any loan SCB is haressing me

Sir,
Std chartered Bank shown written off amount vide control no 36787754 dt[protected] which is not correct. I feel cibil authority should not add any customer list in cibil witout knowing fact or one side story.

I have a credit card and there is due balance on this. I have been paying minium
balance amount and have found that the charges leveied are quite irelevent as:
1) Inrest charge as well as late payment charges. If intrest is charged then what is justification of late payment charges.
2) Service tax charges on every statement while no use of the card has been made. Why a service tax should be charged many times on the same amount. Is really such charges are being paid by the bank
to Govt treasury?
3) EMI being charged for the purcahses, which has not been made at all.

Is there some govt or RBI agency to audit such bank working and stop them from overcharging the
customers and harrasing them?

Standard chartered bank is recruiting Uneducated People. They dont even know how to prepare the Statements . if you go through their Credit Card Statement you wont be able to identify what charges and when it is being charges. Beware of these Bank who just try to fool the people . I think the training is given by their CEO's and Managers .

This to inform you that even-though I have very regular about the payment due date for credit card. This company do not account of this. (i.e. My due payment date for credit card is 24th of month, eventhough i drop my check on before this date. The bank clear do take into account) Latter on they are adding huge penalty to next bill.

I WAS HAVING CREDIT CARD NO.[protected] OF STANDARD CHARTERED BANK FOR WHICH I MADE FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT VIDE THEIR LETTER DT.[protected] WHICH COMES AT RS.10540/ AND I MADE PAYMENTS VIDE RECEIPT NO.5933 DT[protected] FOR RS.5000/-IN CASH AND RECEIPT NO.5945 DT.[protected] FOR RS.5540/-IN CASH COLLECTED BY MR.ALOK ARORA REP. OF BANK. AFTER THAT I SETTLED THE MATTER IN MY FAVOUR AND GOT NO DUES CERTIFICATE FROM PATIALA COURTS NEW DELHI. I REQUESTED THE BANK TO DELETE MY NAME FROM DEFAULTERS LIST SO THAT I CAN APPLY FOR ANY LOAN IN FUTURE. BUT THE STANDARD CHARTERED BANK'S BAHADUR SHAH ZAFFAR MARG BRANCH HAS STILL NOT DELETED MY NAME FROM CREDIT CARD DEFAULTER'S LIST WHICH GIVES ME A BAD NAME IN THE SOCIETY BECAUSE OF NO FAULT OF MINE. I REQUEST YOUR GOODSELF TO KINDLY GIVE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CONCERNED BRANCH TO DELETE MY NAME FROM DEFAULTERS LIST. ALSO UPDATE THE RECORDS WITH 'CIBIL.COM WHICH KEEPS THE BANK DEFAULTERS RECORD.I SHALL BE GRATEFUL TO YOU KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL DONE AT YOUR EARLIEST.

SC always assume like East india company that what ever they di is right and do not listen to
customer.Sc does not need customers it just need some one who could pay money for nothing and it acts is such a way to make people default had got a bull staff to harass people as if they are born to
to the this cheater bank.

Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card — Not used the card at all but 6000 due

I had issued a Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card in year 2007 and not used it since then.
The company says i have due of Rs 6000 and has put my name in CIBIL defaulter list.
Is this correct?

Respected sir,

Standard Chartered Bank issued credit card of their own No.[protected] but not used by me. Bank reported to CIBIL Rs.27453/- as outstanding written off in December 2010. I contacted customer care and asked for the statement from opening of card to till date but they have sent statement ending February 2010 showing balance Rs.29326.72.

Due To Standard Chartered Bank reporting to CIBIL, I am facing the problem in banking with my other account. Please help me from unnecessary harassment.
