[Resolved]  Standard Chartered Credit Card — Sensitive documents misplaced and mismanagement of consumer details. Constant calls despite DNC instruction in writing and phone

Hi,

I had applied for Manhattan platinum card online for which I immediately received a call from their bangalore office. They had sent their executive to collect documents which I understand was from their DST NSB BPO Pune located on dhole patil road.

After collecting the documents they even called up and confirmed all the details. Now each week I get a call from bangalore confirming the same details and ask me when they can send their executive to collect the documents. i tried calling the DST who took the details and never got back. After this I logged a complaint with their customer service number who said they will get back to me in 48 hours but even after a month they havent.

I have then emailed their grievance redressal cell who kindly resonded with the same answers and no action. When asked cant they see any notes by the previous caller they are zapped which means that they take notes on paper and have no clue what goes on within their department.

Thats a shame for this bank who have no system in place whatsoever. We can imagine that the applicant is applying for a platinum card which is supposed to be privilege member but it does not make differnce for this bank. I think other local and co oprative banks are competitive than this foreign bank and better systems in place to look at the customer complaint and pay attention to what the customer has to say.

Today the frauds are an outcome of such service where documents taken are misplaced and then misused.

All readers I suggest dont apply or keep relationship with such banks as they are not doing any favor on us and if want to survive in the competition have to better than the rest and be attentive.

Finally I am sure the calls will still continue which I am sure will have to take some major steps to stop.
