[Resolved]  Star Jalsha — Maa serial

Maa is now so boring and bogus. Pl stop this drama.

This serial has become most disgusting and boring. Pratima is unable to recognise her own daughter. How is it possible? Who is the story writer (Kajri) ? Most awful story. In TV serials more than 90% stories are baseless and bogus. But I feel every story must have some justifiable story base. In this serial 'Maa' in the beginning it was some what
justified. But now it has become a waste of time. Hence we in our family have stopped viewing it.Please stop this serial. There is no dearth of good stories in Bengali literature.
Select some good one and find a good script writer and director who can transform the story into a good mega serial. Thanks. Mrinal Sengupta

Again justice is tarnished in presence of a judge. The director could not make Jhilik speak the truth in presence of the family members that she did not make the call to the press man that she had been in the house of Mukherjee as a child servant. The object of the director is clear to the regular viewers because all have instantly surmised that he wants to elongate the serial on this point to at least 5/6 boring episodes with a view to earning more and more advertisement revenues. The real offenders like Fulki and Pishithamma are again survived from entanglement of falsifying in the family. The director has slightly manifested the truth from Jhilik to Pratima, who ultimately could not remove allegation from Jhilik by going further into argument with others like Jajsahib, Jethu, Kakai, Dipu dada etc. Worthless thinking of the director is that Pratima likes Jhilik as her daughter but does not believe, absurd planning of direction of the story. The story has already been molested by getting far off its initial object. The director will have so little scope to make Jhilik prove to be Pari in her life. The children of her age will be demoralized by seeing roles of Jhilik and Fulki, and children like Fulki must search for one Pishithamma in their life to earn bad name in the cover of pretended good manner. So the request to the director is that he should immediately stop presenting any further of the serial because the viewers have already found the answer that Jhilik is Pari. Star Jalsa is also getting like other channels that have been shunned for adding overacting parts in the characters like Pishi and snake ladder games or stretching the story like rubber band.[Refer to the serial dated 26/04/2011] ANKUS DEB AGARTALA

This serial "MAA" is the worst one now. i just hate it. The director should hav a little sense dat too much spices might spoil the interest of the viewers. The judge shahed is a little puppet who acts lyk a stupid, blunt man in the whole senseless drama!! i dnt undrstnd hw cum d director can put up such a stupid drama!!! frnkly i use to love this serial b4... tb nw i just hate it lyk hell. Plz Mr.Director try to script sumthng beautiful n memorable script lyk GAANER OPARE in future!!! am sorry, bt i must say!!

This is one of the most unrealistic serial we have ever seen. In the name of cheap emotion and to make viewers artificially cry, director is keeping on lenghening the serial. Jhilik should be worshiped and given more importance than father of nation as he is more tolerant and great soul than Mahatma Gandhi.
Irrespective going through so many eye opening incidents, Pisima is still there in house just to get more anger of viewers.
I appreciate 'Ganer Opare' for completing within time and making it more realistic to digest.
I hereby request Star Jalsa authority not to encourage this cheap way to contniuing and lenghthening serials

Well, let's face it. Star Jalsa has aired some good soaps like "Ganer Opare" and some horrendous ones like "Bou kotha koy" and "Maa". It's all in the business. "Maa" is now a cash cow. Why will Star let go off such a soap? Let the TRP fall and Star would seize it. Well .. to be honest the soaps are not ment for the audiences but the audiences are ment for the soaps.

Well, its like a bunch of fools glued to the TV, watching "Maa" and expecting something to happen just the way we expect our politicians to be honest.

The other reality is that no one has the balls to drag these buggers to the consumer forum demanding compensation for publicly airing such non-sense and neither do we have a law (Well not sure though) for protecting the consumers who end up paying for every that comes their way.

The most intriguing fact remains that advertisements are shown shamelessly. 1) No basic quality of advertisements aired (Some say blatant lies)
2) It seems that people sit to watch ads rather than the soaps which come as a refreshment.

Well all in all no point grumbling. Most o[censored]s who watched/watch the soap with the idea of seeing a climax are fools as there is none. We only sit in front of the TV as we have nothing else to do.

I think its almost USELESS complaining here!!! Mr. Fool will keep continuing his silly soap... i wonder Jhilik will remain illiterate forever :p !!! I fully agree with the complaint. Please stop this [censored] daily soap. It has been completely irritating and brain bleeding one, throughout days. Even sometimes it is being screened on Sundays for 1 hr. This serial is leading to lots of problems in many families, and housewives of my neighbor hood are always seen gossiping on this stupid soap, leaving out important topics.

A request to kindly ban this serial.
