After watching on TV, I ordered one pair of Reebok Sports Shoes Size UK 10 (Rs 1599 offer) on 22nd November 2011 vide order no 20111122024718. One thing to mention here that I repeated the shoe size many times when I ordered over the phone. Considering brand value of STAR group, I had a very bright picture about Star CJ Alive too, so I was waiting eagerly for the product as this was my first shop. But it was utmost disappointment when I received the delivery on 27th November and to my greatest surprise, the shoe size that was delivered to me was UK 8. How did this miscommunication happened only GOD knows as I repeated many times the shoe size I required.
I lodged a complaint 27th November itself about the same and followed up later number of times. Every time I was assured the quick resolution but recently they have started telling that this product is out of stock. No specific timeline has been given for delivery. Some of the questions which come to my mind on the functioning of STAT CJ Alive are:
1) How this order was taken by the concerned executive in the first place if the desired shoe size was not in stock. I believe there is some sort of ERP or inventory system must be in place for such a big and reputed organization?
2) How the dispatch happened before cross verifying the shoe size with the order details?
3) What about the costs which I am incurring over and above the price I paid for purchasing the shoes such as my time such as telephone charges (STD), wastage of time and harassment on top of it?
I hope somebody from StarCJ will respond after reading it. We all belong to civilized society and such acts simply disappoints and shatters the brand image in the mind of the consumers.
