Mr. Ajay Bharti, Assistant Vice President - Customer Services Sir, While going thro' card statement for the month of May'02 (due on 02.06.2009), I was shocked to know that annual fee of Rs. 750/- is charged. Not only this a sum of Rs. 842/- and Rs. 750/- is also charged in June'2007 and June'2008 statement. When speaking to your customer care executive I was rudely replied that even the annual fee was charged wrongly during 2007 and 2008, it will not be reversed as I was not noticed the same during that period. I am maintaining your card since 2006 and had all faith of fair dealing but this act by a group like GE with brand name of SBI Card is very surprising. As it is of no use to call your customer care executive, I am writing to you. The following points is for your consideration :- 1. My card was provided lifetime free i.e. without any charges . 2. Aannual fee was charged in June 2007, 2008 and 2009, June 2009. June*2009 charge is reversed later on but GST is not yet reversed. 3. It is mentioned in the card that customer is to mention any wrong billing in the card statement within 20 days from the statement date but it can not be escalated to the deliberate annual charge imposed . It seems it is charged as a matter of practice to charge annual fee and wait to pass 20 days to trap poor customer. 4. Further not only this, interest on this wrong annual charge is also debited since June 2007 and 2008 and total interest amount in June 2009 statement is also includes interest on this amount, which should not be charged. 5.As per terms and conditions late payment charges are maximum Rs. 600/-, instead of this an amount of Rs. 700/- is charged in my May*2009 statement which should also be reversed. 6.I have been charged over limit fee when my limit crossed just beyond Rs. 50, 000/-. Had the above wrong annual fee not been charged in my card this over limit fee would not have occur in many months. Hence this over limit charges will also be reversed.
