[Resolved] State Bank of India — Unjustified Billing and Annual Charges | |
I had been using the SBI Credit Card til last year September, till a very typical problem of billing me with annual charges came in. I told them that I have been offered zero annual charges for the first two years and have since then requested at least four people through my telephonic conversation to correct the bill and send it again. At that time, my outstanding was something of the order of 4000/- rupees. But despite continuous reminders on telephone, the bill was not corrected and every month a penalty / other charges were added. I do not know how to end this because the customer care is as hopeless as it can be and everytime i need to explain my case to a fresh person resulting in it being not resolved. Morover, I had not recieved the statement on a monthly basis and do not have any idea about the billing that is due on me. To add to this, I have been warned of getting blacklisted in the lists of banks which will prevent me from issuing any credit cards/ loans in future.This comes as a measure that they have taken instead of correcting the mistakes of calculation that they have done.
