Sir i am suruchi.My brother has got 91% aggregrate in 12th cbse result & taken admission in DIT at dehradun .I want to take loan to continue his studying there. My parents doesn't pay income tax as his salary is below that level.Plz help me know how to have loan or he may have to discotinue my studies which i don't want at an cost Plz help me.

I have applied for an Education Loan with my Ticket No. SBI-EL-109610 on 17/05/08. As directed in your reply to me, I went to Jorhat Branch along with all the documents and I was shocked when Mr. N.K.Gupta (Public Relationship Officer) of Jorhat Branch said that presently the bank is not issuing education loan as a new Loan Branch is under construction in Tarajan, Jorhat. When asked after how many days will loans be issued he replied that, "I can't say, you should come and enquire after some days".
So Sir now I want to know that: Is it correct that a new Loan Branch is yet under construction and the old Branch had already stopped issuing Educationn Loan ? Although all other works are running smoothly. I also have a Savings Account in SBI since 1 year and my place of domicile is Jorhat. So should I understnd that I must scratch my shoes enquiring when the New Loan Branch will open and wait for the it to be constructed and forget about the addmission date and other formalities of my course.

State Bank of India — about education loan sancation
Iam the student of vr siddhartha engg coll B-Tech second year. with all my cerificates xeroxes and fee reciepts i submitted to state bank of india kanchekacherla, branch krishna district, A.PMy father was an employ in NSC as a lascer post with monthly income of 11000/- .i submitted all cirtificates on second week of may, 2008
but till now thier is no response from them .
I and my fathe vists the bank till now 25 times they are saying that the process is going on .What can i do now ?
i had applied for a loan but the mannager is saying that he cannot give it early because it has to go for a sanaction to one of its main branche he also says that the is more than 200000amount will be sancationed in main branches only.and i wanted to know that if a student who has completed a B.com in a duration of three years but he has cleared his examination in his next semesters . ie, he has cleared his one of his paper in next semesters .wheather he is not eligible for a loan or eligible.or not the manager say that it has to go for the sancation from the head offices .and if it goes for sanaction how much time does it takes.

i am from anigandlapdu.your branch is four kilometers from our village(penuganchiprolu).in my village we have syndicate bank.i asked your manager for education loan.he said that we can't give loan for you becuse of you had bank in your village.but we don't have tansactios with my village bank.we have account in your bank with a/c [protected].

Education Loan — one and half months of delay in the processing of Education loan
Dear sirThsi is Kumar Gaurav. Having received a call for admission in the PGPM course fro ISME (Bangalore), I applied for the education loan from SBI, Main Branch, Sahibganj, Jharkhand but one Mr. R.K.SINGH of the loan sanctioning dept., blankly refused saying he shall be trfd in a few days.
The Manager over there was transferred n hence there was whole lot of choas in the bank.However on repeated requests he did here my plea but someway or the the other kept postponing the sanction of thye loan.HE MADE ME RUN FOR MORE THAN 45 DAYS and then left the task half finished siting that his tranfer was done .
Atlat I had to approach another bank . It is really sad that SBI lives short of its promises.

He told that your institute is not recognized by AICTE, when i had submitted the documents then he told that your institute is just two year old. Then he told that i want a collateral of Rs 100000 for loan unto Rs 4 Lakh, when i asked any written document he refused to show any document and told that don't talk to me he even refused to talk any thing in this regard. After sometime again approaching to the Lead Bank a man in the office in absence of Mr Uma Sankar Jha told that why till now you had not offered any monetary commitment to him, without bribe no work can be done here.
He told that for sanction of every education loan 5 % bribe is given to the officers without bribe no file are being passed. He also told that for your work i can negotiate and try to keep the amount less if possible .please suggest what can a student do if these type of malpractice adopted by the Bank Officers. From last one week i am getting a continuously threatening from the institute that if you will not pay the installment amount then harsh action will be taken on you.Due to this problem i couldn't able to return back to my classes from last 15 days.

Sir,My name is Pramod Umapati Upadhyay and I have a savings account in State Bank Of India, Indore MP. My a/c no.is[protected]. I had withdrawn cash of Rs.6000 from a SBI ATM outlet located in RatanLal Nagar Kanpur on 06/06/2009. Amount not recevied but account debited.I have complaint many time to senior person, After 48 Days I have Recieved only 6000/- in my account.i have not recieved intrest of that duration., which is absolutely incorrect. I have expensed almost 5000 Rs. in phone & traveling .So plz adjusted my account with intrest and my expensed amount.I have maintely disturbed from this activity.
I would you to do the needful at your end.

But, when also branch manager of ANPARA (distt : Sonebhadra, (UP)) namely Mr. Abhishek Kumar not reply proper responce.
Indirectly, he said "I'm busy, domesile nahi laoge to loan nahi milega..mujhe malum hai tum domesile certificate nahi banwa sakte aur hum loan nahi denge".
but domecile certificate is not mandatory according to SBI Custmer Care Helpline, SBI website content and RBI guidlines Summery..
plz help me out..

I got my admission for Master in Computer Science (Bonn University) in Germany and for that i
need a education loan to fund my first year of studies (5 lacs). I need to show a demand draft on my name for 5 lacs to the consulate of The Federal Republic of Germany to get my visa stamped.
State Bank of India has mentioned that they provide education loan (that covers living expenses) upto 4 lacs without any collateral security but they told my parents to deposit the second year of amount into their bank and then they will sanction a loan and they also said that they will only give the draft on the name of the university and not for me. I do not have much fees for my course but the living expenses are relatively high. First they told my parents that they will not give living expenses but later on forcing they said that they will give living expenses but to the university directly. My university people said that they cannot accept my living expenses as i will be staying out of the campus. I am a working professional from Bangalore and the bank people are making my parents roam here and there but doing nothing. In Bangalore and other states people are able to get a draft on their name for the education loan but only SBI,Hoshiarpur (Punjab) are not issuing me with the draft. Please take some action against them. For me there is no way out as i can only apply loan from my hometown and they just don't listen to our problem. Please do the needful.

hello sir i am a student of b.pharm. i had applied for education loan i belong to arural area and the bank situated near is sbi salmari katihar bihar branch code=3590 my application for education loan was rejected by the regional office purnea(bihar) saying that my course is not approved by aicte
