[Resolved] Stayfit Treadmil Pf 3.6 — design defect yet been sold | |
i purchased a treadmill Proform PF 3.6 from Stayfit exercise equipment Indranagar (tele no[protected] bangalore. the entire cost Rs 54000/- was paid in advance before delivery. The machine was delivered on 06 Dec. On checking it was found that one part of the machine ,(the displayed heart rate meter ) was not working. On further querry with the terchnician it was learnt that this particular brand of machine has a design problem and yet the company has been dumping this machine to the customers. the problem has been projected by stayfit to the designers of this machine. the machine is an american machine and is not suiting indian electrical standards. i have not signed the recepit of the machine. yet no one is bothered to receive my calls. they only say that their mechanic will coem and rectify it whereas its now known that its a design prob. i would like to know how to accertain that Stayfit has not been fooling other customers on this count. secondly, how to solve this issue. i want to ensure that stayfit does not market this product with defect on the design sanjeev agarwal Was this information helpful? | |

Hyderabad. Threadmill had problems every three months. Service is bad.
a. Three months after purchase had electrical problem and was fixed by stayfit.
b. Six months after purchase electronic card was damaged and replaced by refurbished electronic card
by stayfit.
c. Nine months after purchase motor was damaged and replaced by refurbished motor by stayfit.
Its been fourteen months after purchase its broke again. It works for ten minutes and shuts itself off.
