[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Online complaints

This is Dominic Mathew residing at 3/12 Ex-Service men's colony, First street, Adambakkam, Chennai-600088. I've taken a Sun Direct Connection on 28/06/2008 in my father's name (Henry Manoharan), for one year subscription. The smart card no. is[protected]. For the past 3 weeks, I could not receive any signal and getting error messages only (E16, E48, etc.) I have been ringing the customer service for the past 3 weeks[protected]. No one responded for first 2 weeks. While I enquired the dealers, they told that they are relocating the entire setup. From the third week I got the direct consumer service line and I have been complaining repeatedly. Even if they picked up the call, they do not send any of the service technicians. I have made more than 100 calls (both from my landline and Mobile). Also, I've informed them that I'm going to complaint in consumer court. Till now no response. Could you please assist me regarding the same?

This is Naresh Kumar Reddy from Hyderabad, My Sun Direct card no is [protected] . To this smart card i have recharged Rs 185 /- on 20/06/2014 . But has not activated, i have called to the costumer care and made my connection activated, it cost me Rs 10 /- when i called to the costumer care it's fine, But with in 24 hrs again they have deactivated why . Once again i have called to the costumer care but there is no use . still i have not activated why . due to this i lost Rs 25 /- . This is not fair, totaly Rs 35/- i have lost from my mobile and the service is also very varest . Totaly i have lost Rs 185/- + Rs 35/- from u r company service . please i am requesting you sir activate my smart card and can i call me at once to my phone . we have sun direct connection when we are changing the channels they are hanging and reacently some channels are stopped wihtout any information like bhakti tv, ntv.etc.expected reply soon thanking you.

Sun Direct — Negligance and illtreatment

We have SUN DIRECT DTH. When the program is going on, it automatically switches off. We have changed already 3 set top boxes from the ZIG ZAG (ASHOK NAGAR, CHENNAI) distributor. When me and few other consumers(came for same proble) asked for the reason, they treated us in worse manner and said, we got the set top box at free of cost and that nothing to do with that.
The MD and other employee used abusing words on us, said go complain anywhere we are least bothered and send us out. What type of negligence and who supports these kind of people for them to react in this odd manner to the consumers. What the responsible personl going to answer for this?
I 've taken Sun Direct connection for one year subscription (A S Rao nagar, Hyderabad).Past two days Sun Direct is not working .The customer service is also very poor.
Yesterday, i saw a text while viewing the channel ("UPGRADING YOUR SOFTWARE").After the process, i cant view some channels without using a password.While often operating the channels like asianet, surya, password is asked(BABAY LOCK WRITE PASSWORD).Its quite disturbing and incomfortablee...

sun dish — Cards not available and site not working

I have been trying to buy a recharge card from past 1 month, but in vein.Every time i go to the shop in marathali (Bangalore), the shop keeper tells me to come on Monday, inspite of going there on Monday he says the cards are either sold out or not available.

I tried to recharge online through Debit card, but each time it gives the error the verification code is wrong, even if it is correct.

This has become a nuisance.There are very few shops where cards are available.

I have very bad experience with Sun Dth.Please don't go for that.They don't even know the spelling for customer service.Customer serivce is not at all there.Past 5 days no channels are coming in the DTH.All the customer care telephones are not available since 5 days.They are simply cheating the public.
Worst Customer Care and Network

if you are planing to go for DTH - Pleasse dont go for SUN DIRECT..., better don't try Sun Direct. really you have to get hurted by their worst customer care. Its been almost 2 months now and even after repeated followup's "NO response". Whenever we call the customer service they ask us to check with "Chada Communication" [protected] and these guys never respond any calls at all.

Am really frustrated... I would take all the possible steps to sue Sun Direct coz its a cheating - FRAUD!

I was really frustrated to tell the service is totally nothing and it has been more 2 weeks I have given complained more than 4 times to the customer care people, I have followed all initial steps of action intimation to service provider via all media but there was not updates, callback or mail reply from there end.

With have great estimation on your service (consumer complaints) I humbly request to take some action on service provider the service effectively and also to grant the compensation for the lost period.

Dear Sir,

My VC#: [protected] (validity is till 2011) and since last Sunday i.e. 09/10/2010 suddenly i started getting E50 Service not available message and after that none of the channels were coming. I have raised a complaint on the same day and i contacted the help line the executive advised me to do some regular checks (Switch off my setup box, asked to unplug the cable wire and once again plug and goto menu settings>Factory Setting> enter 0000 and then press OK to confirm) even then the channel were not coming. The execute registered a complaint (no. complaint #: [protected] ) and informed me that my problem will be solved within 2 hours but till Wednesday i.e. 06/10/2010 there was no update or the problem was not resolved. Once again another executive raised another complaint[protected] and informed me that immediate action will be taken to resolve my problem. But till date there has been no steps taken or no call back arranged and past one week we are not having TV channels.

Please let me know will there be any action taken immediately or should i need to raise this to higher officials? Also i need compensation (at least my account has to be renewed with 1 week grace periods.

This will be my last complaint to SunDTH provider and next time I will be raising the same to concern division.

Hope there will be a quick reaction from your end.

Hi this is Harish am the coustomer of Sundirect DTH, My smart card no [protected] from last 15 days am unable to watch even single Chanel also, they r provid the service person number [protected] person sandeep i tryed this num it's swich off there is one more num [protected] he is not picking the call, and i have try ed almost 8 to 10 times request number[protected] and [protected] on 10/11/2010 i have spoken with one customer care person he speak rash with me.
Sun direct customer care is very poor.sometimes they r not picking the phone and even if they pick they r telling that they will solve the problem within 2 days. but even after 15 days am are not getting any response from them
please take some action against this people and give me the solution for the problem and let me know the states.

Sun Direct — regarding their poor customer service

HI my name is Stephen , i have already taken sun direct DTH connection before 5 months , now they have changed the direction of satellite , so that we can't see many of the important channels then i had given compliant , so that they told me that they will change the direction after that no response from their side again i called them many times but they are not picking the call , they are telling network is very busy and sometimes while picking the call , they will tell that their service person will come and repair within 48 hrs . i had never such a worst service like this . we are fed up with their service............
SUN DIRECT THE WORST DTH PROVIDER, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE SUN DIRECT CONNECTION.
They are real cheaters, they will not bothered about customers.
For the last 3 months they are displaying some messages "they are going to change their satelliite ..."
But without changing the settings in customer place, they moved to new satelliite. For the past 35 days we are not seeing any channels in their settop box. I have been calling customer care still, i did not get any response from their side. Since i paid for one year subscription, so i am running behind them.

My humble Reuest to All readers : Never GO TO THIS SUN DIRECT FRAUDS for DTH connection.

Sundirect — NOT ATTENDING FOR COMPLAINT EVEN AFTER CALLING 100 TIMES

I HAD TAKEN SUNDIRECT CONNECTION . Since one and half month no channels are not coming and screen appearing to register complaint. I had complained to customercare from 26.10.2010 onwars and wasted my money through telephone calls no one attended and it is not rectified. Whenever I called they will send their technician within two days. But never even called and explained the problem. I had balance with them 800/- and even not refunding.
Please read this complaint as customer care executives are telling that they will send their technician within twodays but not sending
