[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Worst customer care

I had recharged my account on 26.06.2008 through net. But it was not activated, I am not getting any channels on my TV. On 27.06.08 I called up customer care[protected] toll free no [protected]- not getting line), they booked complaint & gave me ref no-[protected], same time I reported to local dealer[protected]. This problem was not attended. Again I called up on 30.06.08, same they gave me ref no-[protected]. On 01.07.06 again I called up customer care, they not given proper solution, then I called up local dealer ( golden Flates, Mugappaire, Chennai), they toled me, there is no complaint booked in their register, then I started shouting, then they send person @ 6pm. That person adjusted the dish, now it is working.

The worst customer care service I have seen till date. In response to my request for relocation within the same town, the first request being given on 5th of august 2010, and the service has still not been provided till date(17th of August 2010). Its been more than one third of a month. I have paid the service charges and they even made me recharge despite giving promises of providing channels free of cost till their satellite problem is resolved.

I am tired of hearing this from them: "We understand the situation and we apologize for the same, your problem will be solved in 12hrs. We request you to kindly wait".

I suppose their clock is so slow that their 12 working hours are equivalent to my 12 days(12*24 hrs).

Wish I was living in some other country where customer rights are given more value and legal support.
SUN DIRECT ONE OF THE WORST CHANNEL IN THIS WORLD. DEAR VIEWERS PLS PLS DONT BUY SUN DIRECT.
I have purchased DTH connection one yr back from Skylark, Sai chowk, Pimpri Pune411017. Skylark (Sun direct ) customer service is worst, they talk only in terms of money.We are not getting the desired channels from last two months.Our whole purpose of selecting Sun direct is defeted.We have already spent Rs 2000 at the time of purchase + also paid money in advance for further 6 months.
Please let us know when yr regular service will be available.

i dont have words to abuse sundirect, i am getting irritate with sun direct, i am going to throughout sundirect,
i will buy another service, even these (sundirect) worst fellows not providing one tollfree number, but monthly rentals are very high...

I Trying from three days to recharge my sundirect account by trying the toll free num, stillnow i cound not reach the num, if its continues how we can use sundirect and promote sundirect to others, please say is any other method to reacharge and want to complaint to higher otherity, mu smart card num-[protected], , , serial num-t[protected], voucher pin-[protected], please reacharge immediatly and do the needful.

I CAN EVEN SAY MORE THAN THIS, BUT STOPPING HERE...
I spent more than thousand Rs. to get the set up box repairs done. First they said, problem is with dish, the antenna they charged Rs700 and installed new. Then they said, problem is with ya TV. Checked with Mechanic, it's doing well. Then set up box gone bad, Oh maaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnn, I waited more than a month for the replacement.

SUN DTH — Worst Customer Care

Customer Care people for SUN DTH is vere very Worst. I have never seen such a worst Customer care service. For Past 1 month I am facing No signal problem due to their upgradation. They Advertise that, they will send technicians to solve the issue, but none of them came , I called 15 -20 times customer care, raise 2 complaints , no resolution, Their way of specking very very bad . I feel I was cheated. I want to take serious action on them. I request the people not to buy SUN DTH at all.

Their attitute against consumer is very bad. They are not responding after so many calls. No one is coming since 2 months for upgradation. poor service and poor customer care.

I think even the word Worst is the mildest word to describe the quality of service of Sun DTH, specially the customer care. In Mumbai may be they are appointing roadside people to attend to customers, specially if you select English (#2) it is just a torture to your brain and repent deeply for the pathetic quality. Talking to their customer care cenre, is an experience by itself to prove that in the name of cost savings and cutting, the companies could stoop down to such levels.

Besides this, I have spoken to their glorified "Area Manager", "Divisional Manager", etc., who just do nothing but take down your number and details and sit as quietly as they were.

I are all their subscribers (including myself) to be fools of first waters. It does not bother them a whit. We all should jointly take up matters against their management and expose them in such a way that either they survive or they perish.

Dear folks one lesson I have learnt the hard way, all that come cheap is not always good!

Past 2 months iam not getting the sun direct any of the channels.Every month simply I recharge my account, only my money is going from my pocket.In between the 2 months I registered 5 complaints, but what is the use, are you guys giving any reward points for the complaints.Without any service what is the use of selling the product.
All big business people are invited by government to loot a common man, which is unfortunate. There are no ethical business models, only in advertisement everyone appear ethical.

From last Monday channels like VIJAY, RAJ, JAYA PLUS AND VASANTH ARE NOT BEEN SEEN AND FROM THAT DAY EVENING I CALLED UP customer care[protected] toll free no [protected]- not getting line), they booked complaint & gave me ref no[protected] THAT TOO THE NEXT DAY same time I reported to local dealer[protected]PONMANI MARKETING-KODAMBAKKAM) they told me, there is no complaint booked in their register This problem was not attended till date.Again I called up today (24.10.10), they gave me the same reason as "SORRY FOR INCONVENIENCE" - IS THIS THE WAY TO RESPOND TO A CUSTOMER ? STUPID WAY OF ANSWERING THE CUSTOMER BY MAKING THE CUSTOMER WAIT FOR MORE THAN ONE HOUR JUST FOR A LOCAL CALL

Sun Direct — very very poor customer support---useless

As they have changed the satelite the setting have to be made by them but before this only ther was on problem for al most 15 day then they came up with the above and from past one week i would have been made more than 100-150 call to the distributor,customer care 7 online complianed but till yoday no action even paying we are suffering .But day to day there ads are misguiding need to have an fast action.
