Dear Sir/Madam,
This is with regards to the above mentioned subject that I had made an application for an OBC Certificate at the Tashildar Office,Andheri (w). Along with the application I had submitted all relevent documents like :
1.) My Grandfathers Occupation/Profession Certificate issued by Suwarnkar
Sangh (Sonar/Goldsmith Community) of Mumbai,
the same being his profession as of a Goldsmith(Sonar) for more than 50 yrs.
I also had provided -:
2.) My Father's Janm Mruttyu Dakhla (i.e. Birth & Death Certificate)
acquired from My Native Tahshildar's Office,also the
3.) Rahivasi Dakhla (i.e. Permanant Residential Proof Certificate.) &
4.) jaat-jamat Dakhla (i.e. Caste-Community Certificates.) from my Gram
Panchayat,also my
5.) Village's 7-12 uttara (Goverments official Property card record of my village)
6.) Also School Leaving Certificate &
7.) Affidavit stating my Religion & Caste as Hindu-Sonar(Goldsmith).
But inspite of all this valid proofs the Dr. Lady - Tahshildar of Andheri (w), rejected my application stating that my application is invalid,reason: that my school leaving certificate specifies my Caste as Goldsmith & not Sonar.Now who will advice that wise educated lady that both Goldsmith & Sonar means one & the same & An ENGLISH Medium School's words are mostly specified & translated in english language. Such as noticed in the above case.
