Tata AIG Motor Insurance — Motor Policy - Renewal- reg | |||
I would like to introduce myself as T.R. Vijayakumaar, Holding Motor Policy for my Hyundai i10 car bearing the Policy No: [protected] from 28.11.2010. I have renewed the policy through online 0n 15.11.2011 and the policy should expire on 28.11.2012. Tata AIG General Insurance Company Ltd has posted a Letter to me dated 09/8/12 on registered post with AD with reference to the above mentioned subject matter and stating the payment has to be made immediately on 10/08/12. However letter has been received only after 20.08.12 which can be verified with Postal Department since it is Registered post with AD. Since, I was not there in station when the letter was received, i have contacted Customer Service on 31.08.12 requesting is there any option to pay the Amount of Rs. 1797/- through internet or telephone (IVR System) Service request no: 959969. I got a positive reply from Customer service representative that a person from Concern department shall get in touch with you for the payment. However, I have not received any phone call till today. In this scenario, I have received a renewal policy document 17.09.12 stating that the policy has been short closed up to 28.06.12 and the balance amount of Rs. 217/- has been with held with Tata AIG company. It was quiet shocking to see such a letter from the insurance company, immediately i have contacted the Customer service bearing the reference call no: 1013240 stating the clarity on the details and entire history, but they are not in a position to help me even when i am ready to pay the said amount. Therefore, I request your help to restore my policy lapse as the short closure of the policy before five is unacceptable and unfair even when i am ready to pay the amount. The mail has been sent to TATA AIG insurance on 18/09/12 and details of my mail and call to customer care with reference is as below: Reminder mail to Customer care - 22/09/12 Reply mail from Customer care (Mr. sanjay Kadachi) - 25/09/12 - requesting some time. Reminder mail to Customer care - 27/09/12. Call to customer care - 04/10/12 (Ref 1055490) Call to Customer care - 08/10/12 (Ref 1072777). Despite of my several request mail, no action has been taken. Even a insurance surveyor came and surveyed my car and took Rs. 100/- from me as conveyance, but still the issue is open still. Kindly help me to resolve this issue. TATA AIG GENERAL INSURANCE/ CAR — NO RENEWAL OF POLICY NO AFTER SEVERAL REMINDERS
My car ( DL 9 CC 3798) policy ([protected]) was expiring on 17th Jan 2012, and i was continuously following up with TATA AIG to renew the policy on time but after several calls and reminders they didn't renew the policy on time.i started calling them 1 month before and they always said that our executive will come to renew the policy but no body came and now they are playing around and saying that they will inspect the car and new policy will be generated and additional amount charged will be applicable.
the continuous calling reference no is 330111 for dated 3rd jan 2012, 13th jan 2012, 17th jan 2012
