[Resolved]  Tata Card — Trying to exploit customer..

Hello All,
Today I got a call from PUNE ([protected]). Someone from GE-SBI card called me for settlement. Reason is there was a pending amount of Rs-395.00 (approx) in the TATA Credit card statement few years back. I never use that card. But for annual charge it was sent to me. That time I denied to pay the amount as the TATA-SBI card representative told that as I am the TATA employee, the card will be life time valid without any additional charges. So I post a mail to the TATA credit card team requesting to close the account and cancel the card. After that no monthly statement received from my side. Suddenly after almost 2.5 years they are telling that I have an outstanding of Rs-6400.00(approx). They are ready to settle the amount by Rs-1265 also. But they are not ready to give me final fresh bill to close the issue. I can settle with the amount. But I heard that, if I go for settlement, my name will be marked badly (rather black listed) in the CIVIL report and in future I won't get any loan benefits from any bank. They are not ready to provide NOC as well.
So in this case if I settle with the amount, can I avail PL/HL/CL from your bank in future if required?
