[Resolved]  Tata Communications — Misleading information provided by authorised person

Sir/Madam,
With reference to Service Request No. Closed: 15345642 I had a conversation with the authorised person and was informed that there is NO AMOUNT DUE AND THE SERVICE HAS BEEN TERMINATED. After this a person came and collected the modem from my place.
Inspite of this people are calling up from your company's side and asking for the payment of 612.97 and modem.
I would request you to look into the matter and reply at the earliest. I AM BEING HARASSED FOR THE LAST FEW MONTHS regarding this issue at all odd hours of the day inspite of asking the representatives to call at a more convenient time as I am a doctor and can not hamper the life of the patients for such trivial issue. Please find the other e mails relevant to this issue and respond at the earliest.

Sir/ Madam,
This is to notify you that last month I had asked verbally for termination of the internet connection after full payment of bill to the authorised person coming to my place every month to collect the bill. I had asked him, since he is an authorised person of the company, if telling him would suffice and at that time the person agreed to inform the authorities and do the needful. After this I did not use the service anymore.
Few days back I received a call from your company and again the information regarding termination of the service was given to the caller.
Today the person who comes to collect the money came to my place again asking for money. When he was told again he denied the entire previous conversation and told us to mail the company regarding the termination. Moreover the person authorised misbehaved, abused and created nuisance in my residential apartment.
Today after calling the toll free number and talking to the executives I came to know that a mail needs to be sent to terminate the connection. I was unaware of this information till today.
I have few questions regarding these recent events:-
1. If the person authorised by the company does not give information regarding the service provided then how can the customer be held responsible?
2. How can a person authorised by the company come to a residential apartment and create nuisance? I have been a user of this service for many years and till date there has been no disputes regarding payment. Tata being a reputed Indian brand should immediately look into it so that customers are not harassed further.
3. The delay in sending this termination of service mail is because of the lack of proper information given to me. So why do I have to pay when I have not used the service and also informed.
I have been a user of Tata products and services for many years and have never experienced such harassment. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful so that my trust in the company remains.
