[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — Selling o[censored]nknown value added services & Misleading information related to the product

I have opted for Tata Docomo post-paid mobile services in the month of Aug 2012 (seems to me like biggest mistake of my life) just because I was not provided the option of Mobile Number Portability to a Tata Docomo pre-paid service by Tata Docomo outlet situated in Pimpri-Pune, the reason provided to me was that on a daily basis they do MNP for only 1 or 2 pre-paid connections & they do not have more pre-paid kits available for my MNP request, so for getting pre-paid connections via MNP I will have to wait for some days whereas Post-Paid connections are immediately available (my bad I opted for Post-Paid). My mobile number is [protected] & my Tata Docomo account number is[protected]. Below mentioned are the issues that I am facing right now using Tata Docomo Post Paid connection: -

FYI I have tried seeking assistance from Tata Docomo customer care # 121 also I tried seeking assistance from the Tata Docomo outlet situated at Aakurdi, Pune (on a call) but got no help. Today I have written an email to [protected]@tatadocomo.com for below issues but I realy do not have much hope so I am writting this complaint here.

1) My current credit limit for my Tata Docomo Post-paid connection was set for Rs.1300 by the company itself however, as per my latest conversation Tata Docomo customer care department, my total usage is gone beyond 4000 Rs. (in the span of just 25 days because since 26th Sep2012, my outgoing services are barred till date) Please note that on 13th of Sep on my call with Tata Docomo customer care department I was told that if my usage will cross the credit limit of Rs.1300 my outgoing services will be disconnected, which was never happened until my usage amount reached to more than Rs.4000. I am really unable to understand that despite the credit limit being set to Rs.1300 how my service usage can go beyond Rs.4000. I have not received any clarification from the company yet & my outgoing facility is still barred.

2) My Tata Docomo post-paid service was started from 1st of Sep2012 & in the first or second week of September I have started receiving SMS from the number 56060 for a particular service named “Kissing Tips” for which I have never applied & as per the first message that I have received this service was free for first 3 days & than it was going to charge me Rs.10 for a week (& surprisingly it is charging me Rs.10 per week till date). I called the customer care department to discontinue this service for me but they were not in a position to help & they asked me to dial a particular number & try to unsubscribe this service from there but I was not able to do it, every time I tried, on the call it was confirmed that the service will be discontinued soon but as I drop the call, I kept on receiving a message stating that I have pressed some wrong key. I am really frustrated why this service has been activated to my number in first place when I have never applied for it & why I have to take this pain to get it unsubscribed? Also when I have already applied for Do not Disturb service why till today I am receiving this SMS for “Kissing Tips”? This is ridiculous. Can someone save me & my money from this harassment?

3) As per the call dated 10th of Sep 2012 at 5:50pm that I have received on my alternate Tata Docomo # [protected] from Tata Docomo customer care department (number was probably [protected]), it was communicated to my wife that for the first month of my usage of Tata Docomo post-paid services, I have been provided 3GB data Internet usage free however, in my first bill I have been charged for Rs. 1533.6 for 298926 KB data usage. I was aware of the data pack worth Rs. 50 that provides the benefit of 2GB Internet data usage but due to above mentioned misleading phone call from Tata Docomo customer care department I have not activated that data pack for my first month’s Internet usage which I thought I will activate from the second month onwards. Is it possible for you to check or listen to the above mentioned call that was made by Tata Docomo department & get this confusion cleared off? I am realy not stupid to pay Rs.1500 for just 150MB data when I am getting 2GB data just for Rs.50.

4) Last but not least the services that I have been charged for like “Aamir” & “LATENIGHTMATSopup”, I have not been provided any explanation what kind of services are these? As per the information provided to me in the bill I have been charged @ Rs.49/per Sec for Aamir & @ Rs.99/per Sec for LATENIGHTMATSopup twice. I really don’t know how I have used this services & what actually has been served to me for around Rs.250? As per information provided to me by Tata Docomo customer care department I have used Internet for using this service & from there I have clicked on some link which has caused me charges but my concern is when we buy any product or service using Internet we have to make online payments why Tata Docomo is charging me for the online services like above in my bill (when already I have been charged exorbitantly for using Internet @ 1paise/KB)? If Tata Docomo is charging me this amount it means they should be in a position to explain me what has been served to me for Rs.250? Also where is my acceptance to pay charges for these kind of Tata Docomo Internet services? I have never been informed that I will be charged for any service like this? Only when I saw my first bill I came to know that services like “Aamir” & “LATENIGHTMATSopup” do exist on this planet earth (still do not know what it means or serves actually).

I am really fed-up of all this nuisance going on with me since I have opted for Tata Docomo Post-Paid service & I am trying to know what all remedies are available to me for getting away from the Tata Docomo mobile services without loosing my mobile number. I am ready to pay all the fair charges that I owe to the company. Yesterday I have called Tata Docomo customer care department & tried to know the final figure that I have to pay to get away with my number but they told me to visit Tata Docomo gallery for that detail which I really do not want to do because I know they will definitely ask me to go back to the customer care department. Please help me here & let me know the way how I can get my number back from Tata Docomo's spider net immediately?

Tata Docomo — misleading information related

Hi, I am Brijesh kr.Rana my mobile no.[protected] residing at Civil Hospital Baroda Road Gohana. HR.I am your docomo pre paid customer From Last 2 days & from beginning i have to face much problems. i purchase this no. 1 year before. there was a mistake by dealer about document.than i port this no. to idea. After 90 days i port this no. again idea to docomo.On 2nd may 2011 i did make a call on 121 for best offers. I don't know whatever that person name was who told me that," sir if you rech. your a/c with rs. 300 than you get rs. 330 balance & you can use this bal. till 365 days." After rech. i make a call again on 121 there was another person he told me that." sir this bal. will be applicable only for 45 days." I requested to him then he transfer my call to his senior Mohit. He told me that," sir aapka bal. refund ho jayega. he gave me a no. which was 52202. Than i make a call on this no. from [protected] which is dealer no.
Till that time everything was ok. i check my a/c there was 2.43 rs in main a/c., 100 MB data & 330 in special a/c. than i used the internet facility after that my special a/c bal. was 325.6 rs. i am very fed up about this kind of service..

Sir i request to you please solve this problem & fefund this 300 rs. bal. in dealer a/c or convert this balance into my main a/c balance.
Now 121 is barred also from my no. On this way u can understand which condition i will have to face.
In this way I become fed up with Ur Services AGAIN , and Leaving Ur Feel Good Public Relation Services...But think again again Ur Customer Care Executives Services Not Ur Company Services.......IT Will harmful U in Future...Not warning but kind Request Which give Ur employee Excuse me.

Tata Docomo — Unauthorised charging and misleading customer care

Hi,

This is my n-th complaint. I expect at least this will be heard and actioned.

I'm using no: [protected] and this number is registered at all important places as my contact number (although I'm thinking of changing the service provider now).

I had a history of misguiding experience from tata docomo's cust care which had costed me a lot.

Recent example, although may not be related directly with cust care ::

A caller tune service got activated on my number without my knowledge, when I saw amount deducted I called cust care for inquiry who advised me that amount will not get REFUNDED as usual.

Frustrated with such unnecessary deductions I've not registered my no. in national Do Not Disturb registry.

Please action on my request if possible.

On saturday I have received a call from your customer care department & it was told to me that they cannot provide any information to me in writting. I need solution to my problems before 12th so that you won't charge me any late payment fees. i really need freedom from Tata DOCOMO...my outgoing service is barred since 26th Sep2012 its more than 10 days now, please have some mercy on your customers...

Now I am really loosing all my patience, my outgoing services are barred for more than 15 days, I am not getting any kind of rational response from your department about my concerns. Is it really so hard for you to provide details of your own services & products to your customers in writting? Am i asking you anything that is illegal or irrational? If you need weeks to explain your own services & products than how you can expect your customers to understand them all in just 1 second.
Can't you provide explaination around conditions that are defined & implemented by your own department like Credit Limits etc? How hard it could be for you to provide an explaination around it?
I am getting notices from Tata Docomo to pay Rs. 2770 towards my outstanding bill for my No. [protected] (Disconnected). I have raised below concerns related to bill amount with the company since Oct 2012 but till now I have not received any explaination around it. I am ready to pay any amount which I fairly owe to the company but I need answers to my below questions before I make any payment.

Q1) My credit limit for my Post-paid connection was set for Rs.1300, how come my outstanding bill amount grown to Rs. 2770?
Q2) Explain what is "LATENIGHTMATSopup" & "Aamir"? I have been charged @ Rs.99/sec for LATENIGHTMATSopup twice & once @ Rs.49/per Sec for Aamir total Rs. 247.
Q3) What is "kissing Tips" ? I have been charged Rs. 40 for RN+SUBGSMTECHKIS.
Q4) As per the promise made by Tata Daocomo customer care department on call dated 10th of Sep 2012 at 5:50pm I was supposed to get 2GB Internet data free in the first month of my service usage however I got free usage only for 168.46 MB data & for rest I have been charged @ 1paisa/KB. Why?
