[Resolved]  Tata Indicom — Wrong billing and disconnecting services even after payment

I have 2 nos. - a landline and a photon from Tata Indicom. I had complained about erroneous billing on Tata photon thru email on 17th July 2010 and personal visit to their Vashi station office. Meanwhile I had settled the bill for my landline. There was no communication from them till 6th August, 2010 when I suddenly found both my landline and photon disconnected. On speaking to them I got a stupid explanation that since it is the same customer ID they have disconnected both the nos. (And this in spite of making the payment towards my landline). Then on 6th August I received a mail from their customer service saying they had investigated at their end and that the billing is correct. They had deliberately increased my rental plan on the photon saying that I had made a call for the same. When I visited their office and told them that I had made no calls (my telephone bill has no call record made to Tata Indicom) they agreed to investigate. Then they just said that the investigation has been done and I have to pay (for their fault of billing me for the wrong rental plan). I would appreciate if they could tell me from which telephone no. has the request gone to them.
Further, I made the payment for the photon on the same day i.e. 6th August (by cheque). Then on 9th I find both my nos. disconnected again. Again I would like to say that I had settled the payment towards the landline before the due date.
So much for the customer service of Tata Indicom. I think they have made enough money by cheating on customers like changing rentals at their own will and forcing us to pay and disconnecting lines at will and still billing us. And now they don't care even if a few customers take the pain (of doing the paper work) to shift to other service providers.
I, for my part have already decided to stop both the nos. from this company that cheats it's customers, as soon as I have another connection in place.
Ideally speaking, I think they should compensate me by paying at least Rs.1 lakh for all the harassment thay have meted out to me.

tata indicom my account Id has been locked as i have exceeded maximum number o[censored]nsuccessful attempts. I have forget password Mother's Maiden Name and Hint Answer my my mobile no [protected]

i also applied for Tata indicom DSL internet service. after 2 days i request for disconnect. but tata indicacom executive told me it take 4-6 days for disconnect. but as per industry rule when u request for discontinue from that day rental not charged on your account. but they charged rental for 12 days and bill amount is Rs. 171.

when i went to pay bill amt to vashi tata indicom galary on 22nd sept bcz of early closing i not able to pay.
when i called custmer care they told 22nd was last date and i need to pay Rs. 100 penatly charges.
