I am an owner of Tata Safari since march’07 and here by I want to share some of my experiences with the service providers of Tata Motors. I have been constantly inconvenienced by the service providers in Gurgaon.

Initially I utilized the services of Dhingra Motors, Gurgaon for regular service of my Tata Safari and then shifted to ABS Motors, Gurgaon. My last service was again by Dhingra Motors which was as pathetic as it could be. Let me list down the issues:-

1) I have alloys fitted in my Safari from an external vendor and never it was told by service engineers in Dhingra motors that externally fitted alloys are not aligned in Tata Service stations which resulted in one of new tyre burned out
2) I had requested for brake over hauling whch was not done at the first go and I had to leave the vehicle again with Dhingra Motors for job to be completed
3) I switched to ABS motors for one service and the experience was appalling. The central rear view mirror was broken and kept inside the dash board which is completely unacceptable. Once the realized the damage, I called ABS motors and somebody came to fix it. The central rear view mirror is now pasted with the help of a glue. This is the price I paid for going to TATA authorized dealer.
4) My recent service was through Dhingra Motors. This time I opted for dry cleaning of the car and of course the prices are very competitive. I left the car for 2 days and then waited for couple of hours before the car could be handed over to me. My car seats were dripping wet and no body could explain why the seats would get wet during dry cleaning. This is in spite of the fact that I had left the car with service station for 2 whole days. I had to dry the car in sun for 3 days and arrange for alternate arrangement and this is the price I paid for going to a authorized service station.
5) Just after driving 100 kms post service, the vehicle developed some snag which amazes me. I drive the vehicle for 5 thousand kms and give it for servicing post that there are always some or the other issues with the vehicle.


Over all it is a torturous experience to get a TATA vehicle services specially through authorized service stations

With regards to your last email, I have now recieved a reply from Cargo Motors.

The reply sent from Cargo Motors is utmost of dissatisfaction and Vague.

I expected that after Tata customer care forwarded the matter to Cargo Motors, this matter should be taken care of but I was wrong.

In my initial mail, I have complaint against Cargo Motors, but you have forwarded my query again to Cargo Motors to solve.

You have mentioned in your previous email that you have forwarded a copy of mail to your Chandigarh regional office and they will contact me, but no one has contacted me so far from Chandigarh.

Below is the reply from Cargo Motors, please read this ambivalent reply yourself::::

I would like to make an official complaint in regards to the problems I have faced after I have bought Tata Manza against one of your dealer, Cargo Motors, Jalandhar, Punjab .



I have bought Tata Manza on 30/03/2010 with Reg: CH01 T 6532, Chasis Number: MAT613031ALC06612 from Hind Motors, Chandigarh .



I have noticed couple of problems(mentioned below) in this brand new car but it was not dealt with the standards which I was expecting from Tata Motors Dealers.



Problems:



1. There is very unusual noise from Steering Wheel when rotate while driving the car.



Mechanics from both Hind Motors, Chandigarh and Cargo Motors, Jalandhar could not understand the reason for this noise, so this problem is not fixed and left as it is.



2. Complaint to Tata Customer Service on[protected]



Complaint on this number regarding the steering wheel problem and then received a call back from Mr. Amarjit who advised me to take the car to Cargo Motors again.



After Cargo Motors, this time carefully inspected found that problem in the Steering main bolt/stud and needs to replace with new. Cargo Motors bought this new stud from Outside Market, fixed it and issued me a bill of Rs. 60 for that part which must be under warranty.



When asking them that it should be under warranty, Cargo Motors showed nastiest customer service and decided not to release the car, if Rs 60 is not paid.



I paid Rs. 60 to get my car but it was very disappointed experience I had with Tata Motors Dealer.





3. Air-condition not effective, due to 50gm less in Gas



When I complaint to Cargo Motors about Air-condition is not cooling effectively, Cargo Motors found that 50gm Gas in less and needs to be re-filled. This should have been checked before selling the car to me.



Cargo Motors have then filled the 50gm gas and issued me a bill of Rs. 125. I was jolted to see that charge and asked that this should be covered under warranty period. Cargo Motors showed no respect and asked me to pay this bill or not to release your car out from their premesis.



Again I paid Rs. 125 to get my car released from the bunch of (pardon my language).





In essence, I would never expect that level of customer service from one of your dealer.



I have Cars from other companies such as Hyundai, Maruti, Skoda with excellent after sales experience and I have bought Tata's car very first time, bearing in mind Tata's name and fame but I had such a horrific experience with Tata or its representative, which really puts me off to buy any further products from Tata or even recommending it to my friends and relatives.



I can still notice some problems in the car:



Steering became very hard after replacing the bolt/stud
Engine produces unusual noise at 4th gear
Driver side seat belt is not working properly and once strectched out and released, it doesnot go back to its position on its own.
Car's mileage/average is very low.


While currently facing and running with all these problems in the car, I would be afraid of going back to Cargo Motors, just in case they fix the problem and then charge me for fixing these problems and again posses my car for not paying the charges.



I would also like to share the comments from Cargo Motors about Tata, (please read in Hindi, if you can) " Yeh Tata ki Car hai, itne chhote chhote problems to honge hi".

Now this is image of Tata is in the minds of its representatives. Does Tata Motors deserves such a reputation ?



All these problems were noticed within after first few months when I bought the car.

Practically these problems must be tested and fixed before you sold the car in your show room.



But if not then after I found these problems these should be covered under the warranty period.



To be honest, I am not one of your happy and satisfied customer and it made me write this letter/complaint to you and expect your interference would be one of the solution.



I believe that you would certainly make some efforts to solve this matter and would demonstrate the standards which anyone would like to see from Tata Motors.



I would really be thankful to you and will be highly appreciated if you can take your car back and refund my money. I really won't get along with the services which I will recieve from Tata's dealer in my city, throughout the period I will own this car.

I got my Tata vista RJ-14CH-9181 FOR III servicing dated on 20/9/2010 and below are the points:-
1) When i called up to book my car for servicing on 15/9/2010 i was asked that its a 1 week booking and on 22/9/2010 it will be done in spite of your clause of 2 days. Any how i requested for 20/9/2010
2) While giving for III servicing I mentioned following complains need to be rectified
(a) After my II service lights in driver seat power window were not blowing as they changed the power window button of co-driver seat as it has manufacturing defect which they replace after 5 months
with words that they do not have spare.
(b) My speedometer glass makes an incredible irritating noise of hizzling since purchase which I even reported in II service and I
was told that same has been rectified but they lied.
(c) My dash board start making a heavy noise on jerks after II servicing
(d) My co-driver seat wiper was not working as I used it first time after second servicing and its not cleaning the glass of co-driver seat.

They asked me that car will be serviced by 5:00PM, No body bother to call till 6:00 PM when I reached at 6:30 PM to office they told let us check where I waited till 07:00PM and after that thay tol that my car is ready.
When I checked my Car NONE of my above mentioned complaints were solved and when I told them they asked me to get it tomorrow on 21/9/2010 and we will rectify the same even still I paid the charges.

Since it was dark I didn’t notice much next morning I saw that now “CENTRAL LOCKING WAS NOT WORKING” which was working fine before servicing, secondly no one even bothered to clean the car from interior as dust was still lying in vents ,dashboard as it was before servicing.

Next day on 21/9/2010 I any how I managed to leave my office and drop the car to service centre same even though my office is 25 km from service centre. When I reached the service centre I called the concern person Miss Minakshi (CRM Kamal & Compony, JAIPUR RAJASTHAN) she didn’t receive my phone even though I called up 6 times and no one was there to entertain I waited for half an hour and no one appeared and I was informed that she in meeting. I went to meeting room when no one replied then she send some executive and he received the car. In evening no one called me up till 6:30 pm when I called miss Minakshi she told that my car is not ready and since tomorrow is a holiday so we will return your car on 23/9/2010. When I refused as I have to go office then she told that ok u come to take car and I will get it picked on 23/9/2010 and will rectify the issues. No one called on 23/9/2010 in evening Miss Minakshi called me up at 05:47 PM and told that sorry we couldn’t get it picked as our driver is absent they realized it at EOD and will get it picked on 24/9/2010 till now no one called or appeared.

This is my formal and only intimation else my next reminder will be LEGAL this is how customers our being treated and fake resolutions are being provided on name of service.
i mr. kamireddyraja taken indica dls from sivasankari motors from vizag after one month it got starting problem they said it was not their responsibility after that battery become dead i sent to service point they kept it for 10 days to replace the battery and after that they said they did it but they have not send warranty card and manual book i asked so many times till date they have not send it i went to showroom 2times no use.my car no is ap 31tv 84921 please perceive this matter and improve the attitude of servicing staff
SIR , I AM DOCTOR IN ARMY. MY OWN TATA SUMO GRANDE DICOR 2.2, MODEL 2011 MARCH (REG NO. JH 01 AL 1810) WAS GIVEN FOR 3RD GUARANTEE SERVICE (10,[protected] KM) ON 21 JULY 2012 AT KVR DREAMS VEHICLE ,KANNUR,KERALA, WHICH IS THE ONLY TATA AUTHORISED SALES AND SERVICE STATION OF KANNUR. 1.i am kolla krishnaveni i have bought indigo ecs on 13/10/2013 at Tejaswini motors y junction kukatpally my number is AP28TV7224 i have paid 49000/- towards 3 years insurance but they issued one year policy stating that they willissue renewal coupons which they did not give even after severalvisits to the show room, now they kept a message to renew the policy they did not know whether it is 3 year policy or not and they are asking me to come to the show room and renew the policy which i cannot do as we have shifted to rajahmundry i asked them to renew the policy but they are asking for coupons this is first problem

2) second is that they promised to give 1gm gold coin as i have bought when this scheme is running but they did not give the coin as the manager left the job and sales executive not there, and we dont know about the gold coin

3) when if gave my new car to ist service i am getting lot of black smoke inspite of rectifying the problem simply they told all indigo ecs vehicles will get smoke like this only but when i buy this sales executive did not tell about this smoke that mesns there is no transperancy in the show room, if they told before i may go for indigo tdi


i am vexed about Tata Motors service i will tell my friends to do not buy any tata vehicles

Dear sir,
I have purchased new tata magic iris vehicle on 24/05/2014, company says one year warranty or 35000 kms. I have got problems in my vehicle from 2000 kms. (Abnormal sound, pickup problem, milamileage problems ext) I have informed these all problems with sales executive and also told at every service time, but not yet solved, now my vehicle runned 26000 km. My warrantywarranty will expire in 9000 kms. They told that after warranty they will solve these problems with charges what can I do?
I have a Tata zest Xm car .Car wiper break due to manufacturing fault but Workshop take cost for this &amp;amp; SERVICE of G.p. motor Allahabad Workshop is
0 out of 10 numbers. They are unable to resolve car issues (at driving there&#039;s noise come from the interior ) .

My vehicle Indigo ecs UP78-DD2204 had an accident dated 14feb 2015 and i've sent my vehicle for Repair and maintenance to Society motors Panki Kanpur dated 16 feb 15 and now i am only waiting for the status of my vehicle even those people not picking up my calls to give any answer.Now what should i need to do?either I forget my vehicle or accept that vehicle is now the property of Society motors because when i request to them to repair my vehicle somewhere else then demanded parking charges rate of 150/- per day.Now i am not able to understand i have parked my vehicle there or for repair.Now after 3 months you suggest us the proper action or any deadline.And last ques why people should have to buy Tata cars with this kind of poor service?
