[Resolved]  Tata Nano — Non refund of Tata nano booking amount

THE COMPANY ANNOUNCED THE RESULTS ON 25.06.09. I HAVE VERIFIED ONLINE AND MY APPLICATION (UIN:[protected] IS NOT THERE IN SUCCESSFUL LIST OF ALLOTMENTS . SO FAR I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND NOR EVEN LETTER OF REGRET DESPITE SEVERAL REMAINDERS TO THE COMPANY.

I FEEL THERE IS A DELIBERATE ATTEMPT BY THIS COMPANY TO DELAY THE REFUNDS( WHICH ARE SUPPOSED TO BE COMPLETED BY 25.07.09) AND GET AWAY BY PAYING NIL INTEREST TO PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO BELIEVED THIS COMPANY BASED ON REPUTATION. THERE IS A LOSS OF INTEREST FOR THREE MONTHS ON MY ADVANCE AMOUNT OF RS.95, 000/- AND THE AGONY IS EXTENDED AFTER 25.07.09 ALSO.I THINK I AM TOTALLY CHEATED BY TATA MOTOR SO IT WILL COMPEL ME TO LEAVE USING YOUR PRODUCT AND SAME THINK I WILL CONVEY TO GENERAL PUBLIC & MEDIA AND LATELY TO CONSUMER FORUM.

NANO was delivered to me in Oct'09 by Pratham Automobiles Pune.
They have taken exta money Rs. 2750/- (Debit note No:dn-oct-0910-2)towards extended warrantee but not given service cupons for the same.Now this agency has been closed down & no one is there to repond.
You are requested to kindly arrange to send Cupons for extended warrenty.
My NANO is giving excellent performance.Thanks for such innovative
product. Tata is simply Great !!!

I regret to inform you that inspite of my continous follow ups with the Tata Nano office at Mumbai ,Phone No.[protected] and 66158507 and Mobile No [protected] for refund, no satisfactory response was given by the them.

Therefore , you are requersted to please look into the matter personally and refund the amount at the earliest on the above mentioned address.

Failing which , i have no other alternative but to take legal action against TATA Motors.

Tata Nano — MANUAL & SERVICE BOOK

Sir,my complaint no.1-[protected] is assigned to lexus motors ltd-3002150 is this. I want to say that i am not getting any reply from lexus motors about my manual & service book. so,I want you to look into this matter and do the needful as possible.

Tata Nano Interest Cheque — Not receiving the interest cheque from Tata Nano from One Year

After retaining the Tata Nano booking, the customer is supposed to have received interest cheques every quarter from the Tata Motors Limited unitl the car is delivered. Even after making umpteen complaints to the Tata Nano call centre, they didn' take any action. Finally when I threatened to go to Press, they sent 2 cheques out of the 3 cheques to be received ( quarters considering from July 2009 to July 2010). The very first interest cheque has not been sent still.


It has been a year since I am awaiting for the first interest cheque and there has been no action taken from Tata Nano Motors team.
we have informed that Our Tata nano will be delivered to us in month of june'10. When we have contact our Dealer, every time he said it is in transit. Till today, the car is in transit...No body knows where it is. Every time dealer is giving new date of delivery.
Kindly suggest what happen to delivery of car.

Tata Nano Motors — Not refund Amount

The above Cancellation request was Registered on 27/05/10. As per the terms and condition mentioned in the application from, we were supposed to receive refund with in 30 days. More then 50 days have since elapsed, but refund has not came . I have queried through the telephone several times and every time we were told the check is under process.
Such in inefficiencies of operations is not expected from the reputed house of TATA. As per the terms and conditions Rs 3000.00 are to be deducted from our refund amount because we applied for refund after 60 days. Will your company waive of this Rs 3000/- because of delay in giving refund which should come with-in 30 days.
You are one of the leading businessmen of the country. Your time is extremely valuable. Such small grievance should not have been brought to your notice. I cancelled the booking because I am in urgent need of money, but the delay in refund is creating difficulties for me. Therefore I am writing to you with the fond hope that with your intervention, I might the refund without further delay.

Tata Nano — Non-Refund of booking amount after cancellation

I cancelled my TATA NANO booking UIN[protected] on 23.3.2010.
With over four months of cancellation now, i have still not received
the Booking Amount. I have made several calls to the call centre with
a promise every time that i will receive a cheque within a week.

Tata Nano — Arbitrarily cancellation of allotment &refund cheque

I w.as alloted nano vide uin[protected]in 2009 ,delivery schedule oct-dec2009 at siliguri(wb).on posting to jalandhar requested to deliver nano at jalandhar.contacted on mob to officials at kolkatta&delhi.issued cheque of Rs 95000 in mar2010 without any consent or letter. However accepted &deposited in my bank acct.bank info that tatanano has stopped payment ,again without any consent or info. Tilldate no refund, no contact. Total helpless.

Sir,

My name is Pinki RaNI, I had booked NANO and issued a checkof Rs. 1, 40, 000 [ One Lakh and Fourty thousand ] in the name of A.M.M.CO BANK As I was stated. My mobile number on which the vehicle was booked is [protected]

But later due to some personal problems I have canceled the booking on[protected] and below mentioned my UIN NUMBER

Its been almost 1months and I haven't received my amount back. I have been to your office and I was told to check with the SBI BANK, but the bank people says they need some identification # or something.


I am really very tensioned with it and I am worried about my money.

Dear Sir,

I have cancelled my booking ot Tata Nano on 27th April 2010. My Unique ID is[protected] in the name of Rohit Shah.

When I cancelled the booking I was informed about receiveing the payment within 4 weeks time. But to my surprise till date I have not received the payment cheque. This is really ridiculous on your part. Its been 4 months since the cancellation and whenever I call the customer care they are unaware of the status for the same. For a company of Tata group this is not expected. As we know Tata group sets really high standards in terms of customer satisfaction. If these are the high standards then I am sorry to say that the standards are really low and below par.

I request you to release my payment as soon possible. and I request you to look into the matter on serious note so that other customers like me dont face the same problem.
I have been calling the Tata motors call center[protected] to check on the status of my refund cheque for the past 6 weeks and they keep telling me that refund will be sent next week, blah blah blah. I got vexed with their answer and asked for a supervisor and then was given a Mumbai number to check on the refund status. Tried calling the Mumbai number and no one picks up.

I am a old costmer of tata nano. my car's Reg: No:KL 11 1530. Yesterday at three times the car is not started.RUNNING KILOMETER IS16950: Now the car is not functiong. there is gear cmplaint, accelator stucking, clutch complaint, and starting motor compaint.totaly the car is in a bad condeetion. Yesterday when I reached the thondayad bypass junction, calicut, had occured starting complaint. I can't start the car. then I call mareena motors

Tata has cheated the faith of INDIANS on tata, its hard to understand why they are not interested in refunding the money if they can't deliver nano in some defined time limits.
If they have production limits they must refund the money back, as its not reasonable enough for all to wait for their turn and stick to their plans . The urge of people to have one lakh car, caused enormous number of bookings and was also the reason for the majority to loose their money.
One more ridiculous fact !! my delivery date was about one and a half year post booking and now the car is available for open sale in showrooms. If i would have known it earlier that car will be available after one and a half year or two, why should i have done so many booking exercises and lost my money????
ALL I KNOW IS THAT I GOT NOTHING IN LIEU OF MY LOST MONEY, EXCEPT WAITING AND LOOSING..
all the complaints are correct. The Govt should ban this type of cheating

K B Motors Kolkata / Tata Nano Car — complaint regarding delivery

a nano car model Lx was booked by me in Dec 2010 through a nano sales camp at Kharagpur, West Bengal. Full amount was paid by cheque by the second week of Jan 11 to KB Motors Kolkata for delivery of the nano by Jan end since the vehicle was required to be presented to my wife on her birthday by 01 Feb 11. The contact person for KB Motors in Kharagpur Mr Muneesh informed that the vehicle would be reaching Kharagpur from Kolkata in two days after payment. Every week false promises were made saying that the vehicle will be reaching the next day. From Jan 11 last week onwards, each day on contact it would be told that the vehicle is reaching today whereas it never came.Then finally on 01 Feb after repeated calls by 2030 in the night after nearly 50 odd telephone calls to the manager of KB Motors in Kolkata and the local contact person a slightly used nano driven 3500 km was handed over to me for the completion of the birthday formalities and promising that the new vehicle would be delivered by the next day morn . The vehicle was handed over in a dirty , unclean and non presentable state. This car was given just to complete the birthday gift presentation formalities on this promise that it would be changed the next morning. After this after repeated calls the people do not answer and when they answer they say it is reaching you today only. This is being told for the last two days.Eventually it is said you can cancel your car and take your money back
I would like to know is this the way a multicrore company like Tata works?
Is this what is called customer satisfaction ?
Is this the way to ensure customer satisfaction ?
I would like Tata Automobiles to look into the matter and redress my complaint immediately before i approach the Consumer Forum for the same.

In the noon,I transfer our finance file from Aligarh to Sahibabad (Shrinathji Motors) with the help Rahul financer & take the nano delivery 3:30 pm in 17-jan-2011.
[After some days]
I calling Mascot Bulandshahr but not recive my call (12-15 days).
Than I calling Rubesh Khan and say-------- the my nano booking amount return but Rubesh asked me[protected]less the finance file charge (2,000 ruppes) and cancelation charge (1,000 ruppes) less in your booking amount & you provide me our nano documents copy(R.C+Retail Invoice).

In a case of finance file charge,I discuss the Manoj Aggarwal (financer head,this area) and clear the finance file charge.Manoj asked me------- you are not two time pay file charge because the finance file not close and your finance file transfer .
But Rubesh says that you pay file charge.

Booking time [Mascot(Bulandshahr+Aligarh) & Hariyali] are not saying the cancelation charge & file charge rule.
But I transfer our finance file from Aligarh to Sahibabad &take nano car.
[1.] Why I pay finance file charge?
Because I am not close our nano finance file.
[2. ] Why I pay cancelation charge?
Because, Nano deliver delay for Mascot Motors (Aligarh+Bulandshahr) side.
So, please refund my booking amount full 5,000 Ruppes as early as possible. [Please Call Me]
