i surf the net with tata photon whiz.
In haryana the dialer shows speed~138kbps and downloading with dap takes it upto even 192 kpps sometimes, which i can hardly believe but its true.

hi iam bikash limbu from kokrajhar (Assam).I bought photon whiz(prepaid) a week ago and wasted a lot of money to recharge it. please give some recharge tips how i can save my money.yesterday I recharge it with Rs 25 but it did not get recharged. Today i recharged with Rs 10 three times this too failed.Please tell me the minimum money required to open a site and it's charges in details. moreover I would be thankful if you explain the 849 plan in details.

Tata Photon Whiz — heavy charges and poor service

Sir,
on 17th september '09 i had taken a connection of tata photon whiz (broadband service). For 2 months it was free service, but now, after these two months they are charging a heavy amount of money i.e.Rs.1250 . On the other hand it was told us that the charges will be only Rs.800. Its speed is also very low, it did not works properly as sometime it did not shows any web pages. Earlier a complaint was give via email but no response was given to us.

Dear Sirs & Madam,
What is the secret behind your success, earning, pride? I will tell you, it's us the costumers, who buys and uses your products. And the motto of each and every company should be to provide the best service possible and not to cheat the customers (can be sued). Tata Photon Whiz, which has a speed of 153kbps (as they have mentioned) is not so true. It took me 5minutes to load this page with signal strength of 94% (the ugly truth) and the fees are no less either. Moreover it keeps on losing connection or falls to 0.00Kbps most of the time with the same signal strength (surprising huh?). Other net providers offering a speed of 128kbps is ten times more better than Tata Photon Whiz and with a lower fee (in this case Photon + also).
Sir/madam, when are you fixing this problem? wat are you waiting for? someone to sue the company? or planning to bring more of the same products with more attractive offers into the market?
PLEASE REPLY.( If not, give your excuse to the customers)

153Kbps = 15KBps
This is maxium donwload speed (15 KBps) that is commited by tata. If your data plan is unlimited then you will never gets this speed. Also, if there are simultaneous users from where you connected speed decreases. I am also customer of tata. I used their service in past. This is my experience. I have also bad experience with their service. I suggest you that see first difference between kb = kilo bits and Kb = Kilo Bytes (1 Kb = 1024 kb). Our browser shows speed in KB and tata presents their speed in kb .

Yes, TATA photon is very poor in performance in all service with unexperienced persons.I too suffered the same. My TATA Photon no is; [protected].From coimbatore

I bought photon today(07 Dec 2009) and used for 3 hours i can't download any files with much speed. It is very much slow than ordinary dail up connection. please erect as many towers as possible. give us reliable speed. It even takes much time to load google home page. Utter slow.....

I have returned your photon to HP dealer M/s Tech Smart,Old Rajinder Nagar([protected]) along with covering letter which your company refuses to acknowledge.Your Photon does not work and am dissapointed from services i received both by your dealer/your office.I have asked for refund/penalty on account of harrasment/non functioning and non attendence till this date inspite of your written commitment that problem will be fixed by 25th Nov.

internet services — Plan not changed Complaint

This is in regards with the tariff change request which I had made on 15 Nov 09 on customer care i.e. 1504 regarding my plan change from home plan 250 to home plan unlimited. As confirmed with customer care 2 times they informed me that request applies from 1 dec 09 and when I asked for a request no so he said we don’t had a request no and it will changed as per your request.
Now I was using my services as with the understanding that it is changed from 1stt dec but on 3rd date I had pop up that my 1 gb usage is over and press “I AGREE” to continue. Since I was using my internet as per my internet plan….
When I had visited BSNL OFFICE for my plan change details I got to know that I had to gave a written request and then it will be changed…..
The Person named Mr. N. N. Thakker (Railwaypura, Ahmedabad) said he is not been concerned to the matter and can’t above to do anything related to this matter.
