[Resolved]  Tata - SBI Credit Card — Complaint against tata-sbi credit card.

Hi, i am shilpi from delhi.
I was holding a tata-sbi credit card.
I am very very very frustated with services of this card.
First of all, anytime i drop my check in some drop box,it gets misplaced.
And after doing lots and lots of effort,when i managed to pay my due amout and confirming due balance as zero from customer support executive, tata sbi credit card. I again kept on getting messages for this card that my due balance was 4000.
After many days,i got a call from an executive named sapna (Her mobile no is [protected]), she told me that the whole settement would be done in rs 500.I told her that i had already paid the full amount.
She said, to close the account,i need to pay this amount. She assured me that this stupid card account would get closed once i do the said payment.
I was so much annoyed that i decided to pay rs 500,as my life had become a hell dur to this card.
I paid the said amount to an executive named vivek([protected]) and also surrendered my acrd to him.

Then after months of doing follow up with sapna, i did not get any positive response from her. She always told me that it has been processed, it would be done soon. I was so much fed up with her irresponsible response.

Then one day, i again got a call from tata-sbi cards, that my due amount is around rs 6000 and i have to pay it.

I then called sapna to know about what the hell is going on there.
When i asked her about the due balance, she told me that she has left the tata-sbi credit card company and she has joined a new company. Now she can not do anything.
She said she would talk to her boss in tata-sbi credit cards.

I again called her after 2 days.When i asked her about what has happened.She said she has talked to her boss.
I was so much shocked,when i asked her whether she has the credit card no or my full name or my mobile no and she had none of them.
I gave her all these things and requested to do the needful.She said she would call me back.

After waiting for her call, i called her.She picked up my phone after a long time and when i asked her, she said now she is not bothered about all this. I asked her that she had left the company only some time back, whereas i had done the payment so many months ago. She was not interested to hear anything.
Now everytime i call her, she tells me the same thing that she would talk to her boss in tata-sbi credit cards.
I asked her to give me the concerned person's contact no or mail id,so that i can take the initiative at my end. But she never gave me that.
I called at tata-sbi card toll free no([protected]) also, but no bosy was ready to do anything.

N again, yesterday i got a sms on my mobile from tata-sbi credit cards,that my due balance is around rs 7000.
Hopeless, but i again called her today,so many times i did call her but she is not picking up my phone.

Please take this compaint seriously as this is a "dhabba" on the name of honesty and on the name of "tata- sbi".
My life has got hell and i m feeling very helpless :-(.

Also, in between, i had dropped a mail to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com but what reply i got from there, please find the mail attached below to see yourself.........................
Everytime, i drop a mail to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com , i get the same reply from feedback.[protected]@ge.com....They write that i should write to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com..........................

What a joke is this, i don't understand. But my life has got miserable......

Hi,
I am shilpi from gurgaon. I am using tata sbi card with acrd no [protected] and i am very upset with the services provided.
In the month of september ,i had dropped the check in one of the drop boxes in noida but after 15-20 days i came to know that the check had been misplaced.
Then i talked to the customer care executive and posted a check to the delhi address.Again for another 20-25 days,the amount did not get debited from my account. I talked to customer care executive and i was asked to again do stop payment for the check.
Then in the month of november, i again dropped a check in gurgaon drop box and paid the full amount i.E rs 23,300 as per the outstanding balance at that time told by the customer care executive and had confirmed it with the customer care executive as well that now due balance is zero.
After bearing all this headache and also paying my bank the charges for stop payment of check for 2 times, i got card statement this month showing rs 4000 as the due balance.

I talked to the customer acre executive again. She looked the whole case history and agreed that mistake has been done at your end.
She told me that the bank got my previous checks after i did stop payment of my checks, so they ahd levied the charges for check bouncing and put interest for the whole amount of rs 23,300 and the interests for the subsequent months counted to be rs 4000.

She gave me this mail id and told me that the problem would be solved definitely.
I am very muich frustated with all this insensible service and want to cancel my card just now.
Respond to me at the earliest possible or i have to take some strict action.

From two year the collection agent from State bank of India collecting money from me and not showing that in the statement. I am very upset and I am going to complete to Police about fraud which SBI is doing. I am shame to say that SIB our nationalized bank.

SBI Credit Card — Credit Card due Stament without Using the Card

I have not yet removed the card from the Letter, the one that I received the Credit Card in. I am getting charged for all non sense things which I have not done or used card for, as well I haven’t activated the card till now, yet I am getting charged against it, this is so ridiculous, its been 8-9 months I am getting the due statements, I complaint twice and they said its nil now, again after 3 months I am getting a Notice from SBI to pay 9K or else they will report against me, I am gonna sue them for this, its so frustrating and irritating to expect such things from SBI, I don’t think they have there things in place or is this mess done by the local public handling that area. Its so humiliating...

Can anyone suggest me how can I stop all this???

SBI Credit Card Division — Wrongfull collection of money

I am D N Pandey working with LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd with Finance Deptt .

In year 2006 SBI has tie up with LG for credit card as "LG SBI Credit Card" for All LG employee
without any charges like annual fee, etc.

As most of LG employee has been applied, so I also participated in the same scheme and some time later
got the credit card #[protected].

Till today I have never swipe the above card into any outlet for any purchase or ATM for withdrawal of money .

Now I have received the demand notice of Rs. 8185.39 from Lawyers Inc. on behalf of M/s SBI Cards & Payment Services Pvt Ltd.
even though card has been cancelled, and the said demand is wrong .

You are requested to look into the matter and oblige me.

TATA — i could not recieved my phone bill

sir my first bill i could not recieved. when i take this connection the agent said that your credit limit is Rs.2000 but now the limit is Rs.600. so please tell my credit limit. how can i pay my phone bill & where i pay my bill.

I used my Tata credit card no. [protected] of 20, 000/- on 12th Dec-08 and after two days when i call to customer care to convert this amount into EMI i got the information that my card is inactive without any information and told it can not be convert into EMI. I am not able to pay full amount in onetime. But still customer care excutive is not agree to help me they are saying that i will have to pay 12000/- to activate my card.

So please convert this amount into EMI i can pay only in installment.

For the last few months I am getting an sms from sbi credit cards that Statement has been despatched to me and total outstanding amount Rs.1223.31 or minimum amount Rs.576.95 is payable by 2.2.2009 and earlier the amount was different with different payable dates. Interestingly I do not have any credit card of SBI and unnecessarily I am getting an sms on my mobile[protected].
GRAAHAK TO JAAG GAYE, SBI WALO AB TUM BHI JAAGO and before sending sms to anybody pls. check the correct nos. PAHLE CARD TO DO PHIR STATEMENT BHEJNA. Till date no statement has been recd. at my end. MERA BHARAT MAHAAN.

Its ironical that a company like TATA is into an organised approach towards privacy of its customer contact details. I was a regular customer at Tata Crome and the guys there took my details for the Tata Card saying that it was not a regular credit card and would be used for loyalty purpose only. After this I got an update that my request for the card is rejected (good for me when I got to know that SBI was involved). However, its a hell now as I get irritating promotional SMSes on my cel from TATA CARD. Is this why TATA takes its customer's contact details. I'll never ever prefer any TATA outlets unless its abnsolutely necessary or hopeless to find the product elsewhere.

But right now the biggest problem is that I can't find a place to disable this annoying and itching sms coming from TATA CARDs. I only hope that they have some customer centers or atleast start one where I can get my contact number out of their bulk sms tools.

SBI Credit Card — monthly statements for non-existing card accounts

Sir,

I was a holder of SBI Card (Card No. [protected]) from June 1999 till December 2006. I was never a defaulter and my statement for December 2006 reflected that Rs.80.81 was at my credit.

I was offered a personal loan in December 2006, but I did not receive the cheque. After repeated complaints, vexed with the poor and inefficient response and service, I left the issue. As if to add insult to the injury, I received my monthly statements for January 2007 and February 2007, wherein I was billed for Loan EMI, processing fee and service tax, for an amount of Rs.3023.16 and Rs.4285.58 respectively. Moreover, I also got endless number of telephonic calls regarding payment with some of their executives talking to our family members in un-parliamentary language, very rudely and nastily without verifying facts and records at their end. In spite of my complaints to their call center, the response was very poor. After lot of correspondence, I was informed in June/July 2007 that my card account was cancelled and I was advised not to use the card and destroy it. Very happily, I obliged.

But even after 2 years of cancellation, I continue to receive statements, asking me for payments, showing delayed payment interest. I also keep receiving SMS alerts on my mobile phone about the pending balance. This only shows how poorly their organization is working and the utter lack of coordination within various departments.

I request them to look into the matter seriously and ensure that such things do not recur in future. Otherwise, they will be forcing me to approach press and legal action.

I request them delete my email-id from their mailing list and mobile phone number from their SMS alerts list. I may be sent a letter confirming the cancellation of my account and deletion of my email address and mobile number from their mailing list and SMS alerts list respectively.

An early response from their side settling all this issue is highly appreciated.

I have surrendered my sbi card no [protected] & [protected] two years back .But I am still receiving message sms regarding card bill.Please arrange to look into the matter.

SBI Cards — overdues without purchase

In 2006 SBI Cards salesperson sold me a ROYAL SUNDARAM policy on my credit cardno [protected] for which I paid premium of one year. But after completion of one year they renewed the policy without my consent. Even though I have registered complaint, the dues and overdues are appearing in statement. And now they have reported me in CIBIL as defaulter so that I couldn't get a loan from any bank!!
Thru this I request the SBI to clear and modify my database in CIBIL so that I could get loan from Axis Bank

SBI Credit Card — Dues paid- request to pay again

Many years ago, I had a SBI Credit card. I have my dues through cheques always. Once I have paid the cheque sufficiently early. But they have encashed it late and charged me Rs 17 as interest. I communicated with them and told the fact. They started multiplying this Rs 17 to reach it a sum of Rs 1200 or so. One of the company executives called me and old me that if I could pay half of it, say Rs just more than 600 (I don't remember the exact amount), the matter can be settled then and there. I remitted the amount they asked and destroyed the card as per their instructions immediately. Now after a few years they started sending SMS that I have to pay huge amounts to them. They are also calling me saying the same during work. I am a surgeon. Many calls are coming during my surgery.

I don't even know my card number. Please help me to sort it out.

SBI Credit Card — I have closed the card 2 yrs back but still getting the sms statement on outstanding

This sis prabhakar around 2.5 yrs back some of your executive try to sell the SBI credit card to me, that time i was agreed to go for credit card but due to the delay in process i have cancelled the card soon after receiving the card . and it was done as confirmed by customer care . but after two months got a call from credit card payment division stating that 1500 is pending from myside the pay . I was wondering I have not seen the card and used also how come 1500 came .finally found that from customer care that some insurance has been associated with this card while applying for card which i was not interesed and denied also at time of enquires. after one year customer care told that your card has been cancelled and sorry for the inconveneince . But after another year this is 2.5 yrs now I am getting some sms's from bank stating to pay the due amout.

Pls consider this application and try to close the issue as ihave not used the card for once and also cancelled as confirmend by customer care division, .

we are sorry to infrom you your a/c statement so due rs. 350/- leate fee and other charges re. 65.35 total due rs. 415.35 against leate payment rs. 1435/-due on 24/5/2009 but we are note received any massage or mail but we received sms on dt. 25/5/2009 and pay same date

so pl remove this due amount in our a/c we do note pay any charges

otherwise cancelled my cr. card on this date

Can anyone provide me the adddress and telephone number of the TATA SBI card branch details at Mahim, Mumbai...I used to get harrassing calls from the card group members every five minutes. I even have no idea how they get the contact details of our homes when we have not mentioned anything in the application letter and finally when the payment is made by me and after several repeated calls to the office even after 3 months they have not bothered to attend to my request or atleast have the courtesy to provide me with the dues clearing letter.

SBI Credit Card — Bill without Card

Dear Sir,

I was holding a SBI Credit card some 5 years back and had never used it.Then I got got discontinued from the company as I do not require in any more. Now after 3 years suddenly co has started sending me SMS on my mobile no [protected] regarding the unpaid dues. I had not received any bill for the co. from the very begining of my card account till date.I have connected their customer care to verify about the message but the concerned person says "you have to pay it whether you use it not because our system says you have an outstanding to pay and it will go on increasing if you do not pay.

I also do not know my account number nor my card number as I had submitted the same to the co after cutting the card into parts.

If you please help me in this matter.

as i never had sbi credit card once they issed without consent i cut and send back same day, but continus they are sending bill and payment reminder on mobile, even i do not know card no-- veena parikh
