[Resolved]  Tata - SBI Credit Card — Complaint against tata-sbi credit card.

Hi, i am shilpi from delhi.
I was holding a tata-sbi credit card.
I am very very very frustated with services of this card.
First of all, anytime i drop my check in some drop box,it gets misplaced.
And after doing lots and lots of effort,when i managed to pay my due amout and confirming due balance as zero from customer support executive, tata sbi credit card. I again kept on getting messages for this card that my due balance was 4000.
After many days,i got a call from an executive named sapna (Her mobile no is [protected]), she told me that the whole settement would be done in rs 500.I told her that i had already paid the full amount.
She said, to close the account,i need to pay this amount. She assured me that this stupid card account would get closed once i do the said payment.
I was so much annoyed that i decided to pay rs 500,as my life had become a hell dur to this card.
I paid the said amount to an executive named vivek([protected]) and also surrendered my acrd to him.

Then after months of doing follow up with sapna, i did not get any positive response from her. She always told me that it has been processed, it would be done soon. I was so much fed up with her irresponsible response.

Then one day, i again got a call from tata-sbi cards, that my due amount is around rs 6000 and i have to pay it.

I then called sapna to know about what the hell is going on there.
When i asked her about the due balance, she told me that she has left the tata-sbi credit card company and she has joined a new company. Now she can not do anything.
She said she would talk to her boss in tata-sbi credit cards.

I again called her after 2 days.When i asked her about what has happened.She said she has talked to her boss.
I was so much shocked,when i asked her whether she has the credit card no or my full name or my mobile no and she had none of them.
I gave her all these things and requested to do the needful.She said she would call me back.

After waiting for her call, i called her.She picked up my phone after a long time and when i asked her, she said now she is not bothered about all this. I asked her that she had left the company only some time back, whereas i had done the payment so many months ago. She was not interested to hear anything.
Now everytime i call her, she tells me the same thing that she would talk to her boss in tata-sbi credit cards.
I asked her to give me the concerned person's contact no or mail id,so that i can take the initiative at my end. But she never gave me that.
I called at tata-sbi card toll free no([protected]) also, but no bosy was ready to do anything.

N again, yesterday i got a sms on my mobile from tata-sbi credit cards,that my due balance is around rs 7000.
Hopeless, but i again called her today,so many times i did call her but she is not picking up my phone.

Please take this compaint seriously as this is a "dhabba" on the name of honesty and on the name of "tata- sbi".
My life has got hell and i m feeling very helpless :-(.

Also, in between, i had dropped a mail to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com but what reply i got from there, please find the mail attached below to see yourself.........................
Everytime, i drop a mail to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com , i get the same reply from feedback.[protected]@ge.com....They write that i should write to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com..........................

What a joke is this, i don't understand. But my life has got miserable......

Hi,
I am shilpi from gurgaon. I am using tata sbi card with acrd no [protected] and i am very upset with the services provided.
In the month of september ,i had dropped the check in one of the drop boxes in noida but after 15-20 days i came to know that the check had been misplaced.
Then i talked to the customer care executive and posted a check to the delhi address.Again for another 20-25 days,the amount did not get debited from my account. I talked to customer care executive and i was asked to again do stop payment for the check.
Then in the month of november, i again dropped a check in gurgaon drop box and paid the full amount i.E rs 23,300 as per the outstanding balance at that time told by the customer care executive and had confirmed it with the customer care executive as well that now due balance is zero.
After bearing all this headache and also paying my bank the charges for stop payment of check for 2 times, i got card statement this month showing rs 4000 as the due balance.

I talked to the customer acre executive again. She looked the whole case history and agreed that mistake has been done at your end.
She told me that the bank got my previous checks after i did stop payment of my checks, so they ahd levied the charges for check bouncing and put interest for the whole amount of rs 23,300 and the interests for the subsequent months counted to be rs 4000.

She gave me this mail id and told me that the problem would be solved definitely.
I am very muich frustated with all this insensible service and want to cancel my card just now.
Respond to me at the earliest possible or i have to take some strict action.

I am also receiving such false statements for an unissued Credit card.
I was also faced similar torture over phone (for payment of renewal fee) for more than 3 years. I changed my phone number and I wrote a complaint to respective officer and send it through a registered post. Till today I am getting such stupid statements on paper. I don't know what to do.

SBI Credit Card — Late payment charges on non-payment of renewal charges for the discontinued credit card for the past two years

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been slapped with late payment charages on the non-payment of renewal charges by SBI credit card for the past three years. I have discontinued the SBI credit card and returned the renewed credit card by cutting it across and deposited at the SBI branch Belapur Navi Mumbai 3 years back as per the advise from their customer service cell. Since all the other credit card companies issues credit card without charging any subscription fees and only SBI Credit Card is charging the renewal fees, I have returned the same and never used the SBI Credit Cards since last three years. Despite sending a letter to this effect, I have been slapped with late payment fees and interest on the non-payment charges to the tune of Rs 12, 422.67 as on Dec 09. I have been threatened with legal action if not paid this amount. There are continuous verbal abuse from the customer service cell of SBI card on periodic basis. I would request your high offices to guide me further on this subject matter about the future course of action.

SBI Credit Card — Thretning Call for the Overdue amount, Even I am not having any SBI Credit Card

Dear Sir/Madam,


I am receiving a phone call from a vodafone mobile, saying that I have 2 Lakhs of overdue on my SBI credit card and he will manage the out of court settelment. Othervise SBI is issueing a legal notice to me.

But, for your kind information, I am not having any credit card as per my knowledge.

SBI Credit Card — Call Related

I have call at SBI Credit Card Department and it will provide me a number[protected] after waiting 13 minute my call connected and after call 18 min.A charge 2rs per min (Total 36 Rs ) duducted at my Airtel Prepaid A/c Number. No Call Charge display at site and when i using 50,60 paise per minute plan.
this is fraud for customers to hidden information at website and call charges is So high (what are the reasons behind that) if Important call then why are customers waiting for 13 mintute to call connected.My Mobile NUmber is [protected].

SBI Credit Card — Getting Credit card

Hi I had closed my SBI Credit Card long back.This was confirmed by customer care executive and theu had stopped sending credit card statement. Suddenly I am getting credit card statement for last two months.My account number in the statement is [protected].I have no clue why all of a sudden they have started sending statement when it was closed long back

I jagdish sharma, Age-57, was having sbi credit card no- [protected], i got settlement letter of 12000, in which i paid 7000, remaing 5000 paid by chequeto that collection guy, after some time i called up him he told that he left job. in this way he couldnot give me receipt of remaing amount. i enqiures sbi but couldnot resolved, now i got letter of amount of 60, 000, sir at this age of 57 having full responsibility of family i am realy disappointed and only ready to pay of remainh amount i.e 5000.

I am holding TATA-SBI Card No.[protected]. I have used the card for making payment on line. However I have received only a SMS giving the amount due, but the statement has not yet reached me. Please let me know on whose favour the payment has to be made and where the cheques can be dropped. I tried many times on your helpline 60008000 and also the toll free but in vain. I had only listened to your recorded message"we are eager to receive your call" and the music was on and on... but nobody attended my call even after holding for more than 15 minutes. Please give me the list of places, banks where the drop boxes are kept as well as the website where the payment can be made online. Your immediate response is solicited.

After going through the complaints, I also have a second thought of cancelling the card... Please also let me know the procedure for cancellation.

My credit card number is [protected]. I had discussion with customer care and made all due amount in april 2008.At same time i requested to block/close this card. After long time 3-4 months back i got alert from SBI that you have due 5k that need to pay. How this figure come into picture if i paid all the dues earlier and got the confirmation from SBI customer care there is no amount to pay. Please look into same and let me asap.

SBI Credit Card — Dues without receiving the credit card

Hi
I have received an bill amount of 6000 for SBI credit card. I had applied for the card 3 years back but never received it. It is beling told to me by the SBI executives as these are the insurance amount. I am surprized how can i pay the insurance amount for a card which i never received.
if your card was never activated then they cannot do it send a mail to rbi find the mail address on the site of rbi.
