Dear Sir,
I had purchased Tata Docomo Post paid connection with 2 Sim cards, I used them and paid all my dues on time. When I thought to dis connect the connection as I was using them hardly, I called the Customer care of Tata Docomo on March 21st 2013. They told me that pa your unbilled amount, and they will disconnect the connection. I immediately paid Rs.,449.00 which includes billed and unbilled amount till 21st Mar 2013 via online payment my ICIC bank account with reference no. BIL/[protected]/Tata Docomo Final/TATADOCOMO_MICI, The executive told me that it will take approx. 7 days, I have already stopped using those card since last 6 months, still I am receiving bills from them. I received calls from collection department, every time I told them that I have already closed the card but they are not agree with this, I did not make a single call from last 6 months from those cards, they are still charging me Monthly rental and now from last 3 days I am receiving calls from legal department and they are not at all listing me. They are threatening me with abuse language. I want to lodge a complaint against them for mental threatening and harassment.

TATA TELE SERVICES — BILL RELATED

LAST MONTH I HAD APPLIED FOR PREPAID MIGRATION ON 9TH JUNE & ON 10TH I RECEIVED THE MESSAGE ON MY REGISTERED NUMBER THAT THE MIGRATION HAS BEING COMPLETED.I WAS NOT INFORMED ANYTHING FURTHER.


BUT ON 22ND I CALLED THE CUSTTOMER FOR SOME TECHNICAL PROBLEM HE ALL OF SUDDEN INFORMED ME THAT MY NUMBER IS STILL IN POSTPAID AS A RESULT A NEW COMPLAIN WAS RAISED & I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE TO NOT PAY RENTAL.

AS A RESOLUTION TO THE COMPLAIN I WAS TOLD THAT MY NUMBER WAS STILL IN SAFE CUSTODY & SO IT WAS NOT CONVERTED.



SIR THIS INFORMATION WAS NOT PROVIDED TO ME BEFORE NEITHER BY THE TRUE VALUE HOB NOR BY ANY OF YOUR EXECUTIVE.

BUT SIR BY THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION I SHOULD HAVE BEING INFORMED AT THAT PARTICULAR TIME ITSELF.



AGAIN I HAD TO APPLY FOR MIGRATION ON 29TH .

BUT BILL OF THIS PERIOD HAS COME .

BUT SIR I WAS NOT EVEN KNOWING THAT MY NUMBER WAS STILL IN POSPAID . I HAD NOT EVEN USED IT.

SO A COMPLAIN HAD BEING LAUNCHED[protected].



BUT NOW I GOT A CALL FROM EXEXCUTIVE SAYING THAT THE ENTIRE FAULT IS MINE .

PLEASE SIR LOOK INTO THE MATTER & TAKE THE REQUIRED STEPS TO ADJUST THE BILL.

    Dear Sir,

    I am extremely disappointed with the Sales Agents which are selling tata photon connection outside Wipro office in Hinjewaadi phase 2. They don't know their job, and at the end customer is facing the burnt.

    I took tata photon 3G corporate connection(Rahul-[protected]) from Gajanan Enterprices (Office No. 6), Indraprastha Mall, 2nd Floor, Mitramandal Chauk, Pune 411002). This fellow doesn't even know how to write English, gave me the dongle, and while noting down my address, didn't bother to write it properly. He said it's not needed, and my photon will be activated in few days. After lots of follow-up, my tata photon got activated. But within few days, it was deactivated again, due to -ve address verification. I again called Rahul, offered him to give my full address proof, and was ready to deliver at his doorsteps, but he said it's not needed and my tata photon will be activated. It was never activated. I called customer care, they asked me to visit local tata photon office, which I did, but I was told that they don't handle corporate connection.

    I am in a catch 22 situation. This person Rahul or his boss Vikram is not picking my calls or answering my sms. I requested them to atleast give me some contact address wherein I can go and raise my concern, submit my address proof, but that also they didn't provide.

    I don't know when to go, whom to approach. Kindly help to resolve the issue. I look forward in great anticipation.

      i have been using a Tata Docomo sim for around 3 years and recently the range on my phone disappears and doesn't come back. The problem of range disappearing is not new as the range would frequently go but come back when the phone was taken outside. Now once the range is lost the phone needs to be switched OFF and turned back ON for any reception. This is extremely problematic as i cannot keep switching the phone OFF and ON all through the day. Other sim cards do not have this problem on the mobile phone.

        I am using Tata Photon Whiz since about 10 months. The plan was unlimited with 3.1 mbps upto 1GB and after that unlimited at 153 kbps. After about 3 months of service some call centre staff contacted me on my above mobile and blabbered something which I did not understand what he said. On hearing the monthly post paid charge shall not change I said Yes. After the talk the speed was reduced to >100 kbps and till date I am suffering with the low speed. With out fail every month a bogus SMS comes saying I have consumed 1 GB and so the speed is reset to 153 kbps. Previously I used to see the actual usage on my account. But Usage Metre does not open now. The Installation date is 15th of the starting month and bill used to be on 15th of next month. But now the date is changed to 13th.
        Today at 11.20 when I was busy in another work some one saying Tata DOCOMO identity rang up to me from mobile number [protected] and started blabbering something. I told I do not want any thing and told not to disturb me. The man at the other end told Bewakoof Hai before closing. After I finished the job I was doing, I sent a SMS from my other phone [protected] saying "Yes. I am really Bewakoof to hang on with TATA PHOTON". This unparliamentary word of Bewakoof calling a Sr. Citizen of 74 yrs, a Retired Central Government Officer is fit for dragging the company to Consumer court. It is not clear why they do not send E mail to give description of any new plan. Incidentally the SMS are received 20-25 times in a month repeating the same thing. Sometime during Afternoon nap or after bed time at 2330 hrs.

          Hi,

          I have taken a data card from Tata docomo.no: [protected] as post paid connection on 12/7/13
          But the service still not getting activated even after 2 weeks.

          Whenever i am calling toll free no for getting activated.They are saying to wait 24 hrs as local reference pending ,whereas i am given the same to the sales guy all.

          Some one from Kormangalam came to my place,RT Nager,Name : Kalyan. Ph no: [protected].

          Manager of that shop is: Anita. :[protected].

          Both the person ,not picking up my call,even don't bother to take any step for the solution

          Someone from Tata Docomo,introduced as teah lead from tata docomo activation team ,Name : Paranya,is also called me on 22/7/13.And asked 48 hrs but now it is 96 hrs .

          I am really getting fed up with Tata Docomo.

          I need the solution ASAP or i don't need service.
          Take your Plastic BOX ,And give my money back.

          i bought a tata docomo sim with mdn-[protected] on 14th July from an outlet for RS 80 which had an MRP of Rs 20 and they gave me the excuse of activation charge.Now its 10 days passed and am my sim is still deactivated, The customer care service was unable give me a proper answer to my problem

            my a/c no is[protected] I have complaint before 1 month to change my combo plan for my phone but there will no change in my phone they charged another combo plan in my bill which I have never request to change my plan now you service centre say me you registar your complain your combo plan change after 1 month but 1 month before same answer given from service centre but no change in my bill plan so I request u please take my complaint and change my combo plan and also change my new bill with 180 combo plan otherwise I will not pay bill amount and I want cancel my all phones I m last 5 year your customer tata give me good service but nowadays some problem of combo plan or bill amount give me bad service and In your service centre for talk to senior we wait for 1 hrs on phone they every time busy there work but not give feedback to customer after 1 hrs automatic phone disconnect and we want revise call to service centre another time for waiting to talk to senior manger please see the matter as soon as possible

              sir ,my name is Anup Ghosh i have purchase a tata safari decore on 1 oct 2012 my vehicle # Dl- 9CZ 3357 , i had a very bad experience after getting this vehicle, first two days engine problem occurs it was rectify problem engine turbo, my safari hardly done 6100 km new problem occurs gear shifting problem when i went to tata service center they said that it is a clutch plate problem and you have to bear the amount whatever the estimate come , my question is that my safari is in under service and warranty why should i pay for that, please help me in this regard.

              Tata Teleservices Ltd — Exploding disconnection grievances

              Dear Sir,
              We have a corporate phone connection holding account no.[protected]. We have been using the services for last six months. We had a grudge against the service provider from the very beginning. And we always made complaint in this regard but the feedback is non worOur complaint was in regard of billing procedure. We were told that the monthly bill should be Rs. 8000 approximately. But it never happened and the monthly bill exceeded. The billing process conceals some of the essential criteria from their customers.
              After having complaint at frequent intervals, the service provided agreed to change the plan with a conviction that the bill would recede under new plan. The plan was changed but a condition is put forward that we have to pay charges in lieu of handsets. They demand an amount of Rs. 1100/- per handset. As it is a known fact that an electronic good undergoes depreciation and we have been using the handset for last six months. Genuinely, the amount per handset after depreciation must not exceed Rs. 200/-. And we are very much all set to pay for handsets after depreciation.
              The application for exploding disconnection grievances is as follow:

              Dear Sir/Madam,
              Bearing account no.[protected], we would like to put forward our grievances regarding the corporate connection. The connection was under Free Zone Services. We were convinced that the would be Rs. 8000 approximately but incessantly the billed amount exceeded the limit. When we complained they offered to change the plan. The connection can be continued only if we are not charged for handsets. We have been using the services for last six months and cleared the asked outstanding. it is very much certain that the cost of handsets should have depreciated . We are ready to pay the amount only after depreciation.
              After having enquiry, the billed and un billed amount is Rs.[protected] + 2620). The outstanding has been cleared. As a result, we don't have any dues against our account. So, please disconnect the services as we are not liable to pay any further billed amount. As it is a corporate sector plan, so it is unfeasible to have a control over users. it is very much urgent as if not disconnected then Tata Indicom will be responsible for further billing. if it gets disconnected, the cost of handsets will be paid only amount after depreciation. The payment has been made vide cheque no. 626774, dated 26.03.2011 drawn on Canara Bank, Rajeev Nagar Branch.
              We have a receiving copy of the above mentioned application.
              After the registered complaint was made (Complaint Reference no. 264540) the mail was sent to us that the complaint will be resolved within six business hours. later, we received another mail the query has been resolved.
              But we were intimated though telephone from Free Zone Services that the connection can be continued only after having the amount cleared in lieu of handsets. When we convinced him about the received mail from Service Provider, he told us that he knows better than us about Tata as he holds authorised sales right. He also put forward that it does not matter as the service provider does not act as per customer's commitment.
              We have a positive expectation from your side not only for mine but also in public regard.

                Tata Teleservices Ltd — Not honoring GPRS pack offering

                I'm a Tata DOCOMO postpay customer since Dec 09 and my relationship no is[protected].

                It has been a nightmare to communicate with your customer care agents and I have 2 issues unresolved.

                1. Ref No[protected]

                I have been incorrectly signed up on a 899 blackberry plan when I specifically asked to be signed up on the 299 plan. Further more, a customer care agent who called back (and couldn't speak english) said that I would be put on the 299 plan from the next billing cycle which is 326 days away! I refuse to pay for BB services and have asked for it to be cancelled.

                2. Ref No[protected]

                Your website shows a 199 GPRS plan which allows for 500MB o[censored]sage (Karnataka Circle) for postpay customers. The customer care agents are unaware and when I asked for a clarification, another incompetent agent called back to say that there was an error in advertising these plans and these plans don't exit!

                I need a senior executive from TTSL to please address my concerns.

                Any help appreciated.

                  TATA DOCOMO KARNATAKA - Number ported to tata not yet active
                  Hi ,

                  I ported my Vodafone number [protected] from Vodafone to tata docomo , Unqiue porting ID is VX422954 , request raised on[protected] .
                  On[protected] I got an SMS saying "porting will complete on[protected]" , since then my old Vodafone SIM is deactivated, but the new docomo SIM is not yet active . The tata docomo SIM does not even connect show the network . Talked to tata docomo customer care & they are not aware of how to fix it.

                  My name is yadunandan, i had purchased an internet connection form TATA Indicom company on 05-Feb-2008 and the promise of activation was for one working day which was suppose to be on 06-Feb-2008 but today is already three days complited but still it is not activated when i approch the help desk their response was very bad, when i ask them to cancel the connection they say we can but you dont get the money back please justify to the report, There is already huge lose to me becuase of the delay in activation of the internet.

                  Dear Sir,



                  I was a customer of TataTeleservices and had been provided with Tata Indicom Telephone connection number[protected], a/c number[protected]plan Home2Mobile349, modified by you to Plan Talk India 225 in Dec 2007.


                  2. Despite my clearing the bill No[protected] dt 2-2-08, Rs 888/= much in advance of due date, 9-2-08, my connection had been cut and was NOT RESTORED DESPITE SEVERAL E MAILS CALLS, coorespondence EXPLAINING THE POSITION.

                  3. Despite my havibg paid the bill for Feb 08, Rs 888/=, a Bill No[protected] dt 2-3-08 was sent to me, for Rs 1915, which is INCORRECT on account of the following:
                  The amount Rs 888/= already paid by in included. Bank pass Book entry attached


                  2.The plan, Home 2 mobile 349 has been adopted for billing, in both your bills dated 2 –2-08 and 2-3-08, as agianst Plan Talk India 225 wef 1-1-08 vide your UNSOLICITED letter no [protected] dt Dec 2007, thus OVERCHARGING ME by about Rs 124/= on both the bills, a total of Rs 248/=..

                  3.There has been NO service available on my telephone number 65303452 wef 28-2-08. Hence NO chrges are payable from this date.

                  4.Hence the bill may be corrected, after deducting wrongly billed amounts and adjusting my Deposit paid at the time of giving the connection. In view of this incoorect billing it has notr been paid..

                  I informed vide my letter dt 2-3-08, the Tata Teleservices that I DO WANT THE TELEPHONE CONNECTION and that THE INTRUMENT MAY BE COLLECTED BY THIEIR REP, with an authority letter from the authorized signitory of the Company. this I did to cover myself as I did not want to face problems stating that the telephone instrument has been collected by an unauthgorized person, as my cheque deposited in an company authozied outlet is reportedly not received by the company!


                  Please intervene so that the telephone insteument is collected by a Company rep, with an authority letter from the authorized signitory, and that a corrected bill as stated above is sent to me immediately. With my expereince I would never like to have a TATA INDICOM CONNECTION AGAIN OR RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY-THE COMPANY IS NOT SENSITIZED TO HANDLE customer grievances - but chooses to operate thrrough cluless call centre operators.

                  I HAD COMPLAINED TO THE NODAL OFFICER, APPELLATTE AUTHORITY DESIGNATED BY TRAI OF TATA RTELESERVICES LTD BUT THERE HAS BEEN NO SATISFATORY RESOLUTION

                  Tata Teleservices — Disconnection not done in spite of repeated requests

                  Hi,
                  I was using WLL phone of TATA INDICOM (Tel no[protected] from 2004 without any problem.However before 6 months signal got disappeared from instrument and phone was not usable.I had raised complains with their customer support by phone/e-mail and several times their technicians visited my premises to check and troubleshoot problem however nothing happened.They suggest to install antena on my terrace and use phone as a land line wired phone which I rejected.
                  I requested TATA to disconnect my services however they never acted on it and kept sending me bills by adding recurring charges(@Rs.150) every month + late payment charges
                  Now they have send me letter from their lawyer demanding Rs.2000 urgently otherwise threat of legal proceeding.

                  tata indicom/postpaid connection — NOn-refund of caution money

                  I was given a postpaid mobile phone connection by the selling agents of Tata indicom in Apr 2008 at Air Force station Halwara (Ludhiana).The mobile connection no. was [protected] for which they took the mandatory caution money of Rs 500 on the promise that whenever the connection is terminated, the caution money will be refunded. The same connection was surrendered in Dec2008,but in spite of severe efforts, the caution money was not refunded by Tata Teleservices. & is yet to refund.

                  wonder ! Can one expect this type of management from Tata's !!

                  My mobile no is [protected]..on 21.01.09 without my request I was charged for SMS service on Bible messages. I talked to customer care but nothing could be done. I sent SMS for unsubscription.
                  Today again Rs. 30 deducted for SMS on Bible from my Balance without my request.

                  When I have not requested for SMS service why the balance is deducted.
                  This is fraud and looting by Tata teleservices ltd. Pl. arrange to get the refund of the amount. Pl. advise the service provider to stop looting the customers

                  1 cartoon box containing 17 Faulty and Deactive NIU (Wireless Phones) was handed over to Ondot currier agent at Una (HP) on dated 18th Feb-2010, which supposed to be submitted at TTSL office Shimla with 3 working days. But sad to state that even after reapeated reminders and folowups at Shimla/una and Ambala centers till date neither material has delivered at desired destination nor any confirmation are given to sender or recipient.

                  I thought that my issues with Tata have come to an end, however I was wrong, forget the issues that have ended the relationship. Pls go thru the mail again to refresh your memory & my agony. Now the problem is as follows : I m given to understand that my connection is deactivated bcoz of AV/CV, & I was told that I was not contactable on my Tata no. [protected], now how can I b contactable on this no. when its very obvious that I was a USB postpaid customer & then was migrated to prepaid I don’t have a CDMA phone with me…with so many hassles I did my recharge of 225/- & now the gallery guys are telling me that there is no balance on your account . While doing the recharge I was told that this will be valid for a month & if not recharged the balance will continue to be there for 90 days. I m not in a position to call u guys as well as I don’t have a CDMA phone & hence forced to write a mail. Half of the time ur gallery guys are unaware of the schemes & offers available which leads to misinformation & end result customer suffering, my concern now is I want my balance back to my account & deduct Rs 98/- for lifetime validity. I m also looking to forward to buy a postpaid walky, but again I m told that its out of stalk so why boast of something which Tata cant deliver..                   1. I BEING IN DEFENCE, WAS ON DEPLOYMENT IN GULMARG AREA FROM 01 FEB 10 TO 01 APR 10.

                  2. ON 03 FEB 10, MY HANDSET BECAME UNSERVICEABLE, HENCE I WAS NOT ABLE TO UTILISE THE SERVICES. I PUT UP A TELEPHONIC COMPLAINT TO TATA TELESERVICES OFFICE AT SRINAGAR AND ALSO SENT A COPY OF WRITTEN COMPLAINT THROUGH MAIL.

                  3. ON 01 APR 10, I CAME BACK FROM GULMARG AREA AND GOT MY HANDSET REPAIRED. AFTER SWITCHING ON THE SET I FOUND THE OUTGOING CALLS WERE BARRED HOWEVER THE INCOMING CALLS WERE ACCESSIBLE. THEN, I RANG UP TO CUSTOMER CARE AT 121 AND CAME TO KNOW THAT THE CONNECTION IS BARRED. I GOT IT OPENED FROM THE SRINAGAR OFFICE. AFTER 2 DAYS IT WAS BARRED AGAIN. ON ENQUIRING, I CAME TO KNOW THAT THE CONNECTION IS BARRED DUE TO NON PAYMENT. I REQUESTED TO WAIVE OFF THE RENTAL OF THE SAID PERIOD DURING WHICH I COULD NOT AVAIL THE SERVICES. BUT IT WAS DECLINED BY THE CUSTOMER CARE.

                  i have got new connection from Idea Telleservises on dated 01.10.2010 & they commited to activate this within 24 Hours but till Time After 5 Days approx it's not activeted

                  Tata Teleservices — Incorrect Billing

                  I had a Tata Surf to Whiz connection which I got upgraded to Tata Photon Plus (950 unlimited usage plan) about a month and a half back. At the time of filling up the form I was told by the executives at the gallery that I would be getting a discount of Rs 125/- every month for one year and my monthly bill thus would be Rs 825/- plus taxes. Based on this I signed up the form and got the plan upgraded (I have a copy of the same). Also at the time I was shown various brochures and pamphlets which clearly mention that the usage is unlimited and only the speed drops beyond 5GB. The other plans state the rates (0.50 and 1.00) for additional usage.

                  I received my first bill which was slightly on the higher side but paid the same thinking it must have been since a part of the usage was under the old plan. I have now received my second bill for a whopping Rs 9383/-!!!!

                  I went to the gallery and they told me it was a system error in which the unlimited plan was not reflecting and hence the billing was high, and the bill amount would be corrected within 48 hours. I also got the complaint registration number. In this time I got a call from a customer service executive saying saying that the bill was correct since the usage beyond 5 GB was chargeable and hence I would have to pay the bill amount. I tried to explain the various points but she closed the complaint without further discussion.

                  I again went to the gallery and they for the second time have assured me that it is an internal system error and somehow my account is not reflecting as unlimited and hence the error. I am now waiting for Tata to take corrective action.

                  Points to note : I[censored]sage beyond 5GB is chargeable then what is unlimited? If this is the case then why are the additional charges not mentioned on the approval form which simply states NA against the unlimited plans, whereas other plans have clear charges of 0.50 and 1.00 mentioned against them?

                  Tata Teleservices — Wrong Contact No & Wrong Statement

                  Hi,

                  I had purchased the Tata Photon+ prepaid no [protected] in 2009 in month of August. I got a call from Harjasai Communication in month of March some body Mr. Neeraj. He told me to convert my prepaid account to postpaid Photon Whiz by issuing a sim card. I agreed for that and he issued me a Sim no:[protected], which I had returned to them in April as it was a flase statement made by them, on this Harjasai Communication cancelled that Sim and returned my money back to me.

                  But unfortunately the no was not been closed by them. I got continous calls from Tata Teleservices related to the payment option.They called me up saying my bill is of Rs.2472 . I had already made two payments of Rs2043 and Rs2000 last which I made in month of December. I requested them to closed my no for which I got a confirmation message on my no stating that the SR Cancellation has been closed,but the no is still working and somebody else is utilizing that no.

                  Last call which I recived was made by Mr. Manish, he told me that your no has been closed.

                  As a proof to I have all the transaction slip along with me. Please help me out.
                  I'm irritated by their this behaviour. How can one belive on such companies which always make use of thier customer

                  Tata Docomo — Mobile service deactivated. Not in active state

                  I am using Tata Docomo Prepaid connection. Name: Ramachandran Number [protected]. Location bangalore.
                  Currently my mobile number is de-activated. There is no incoming/outgoing call facility in my mobile. I have to switch OFF & ON my mobile. Only one call able to talk. From second call onwards i am unable to call while dialing second call it says "Error in connection". I suspect problem araise from handset. I have tried the same SIM in 2 mobiles the same problem exits. So ensured problem with network not with handset. I informed Customer care about my problem. I didn't file any report against this. They is no response from him. Please help me to solve this problem.

                  I am using Tata Photon Plus since Last 8 months.Last week I got a mail regarding gold connection of Tata CDMA.I had applied online for the same. Then I had received a call from customer care The executive MR.Aman([protected]).He told me that he will send an executive to me and after collecting the docs will tell me regarding the phone no which they are going to issue me. The executive Mr.Manpreet([protected]) from Trimax Solution Okhla Ind Area Phase2.came to me and collects the docs on thursday 9.06.11.When i had called him on next day he gave me the no of Mr.Naemudin([protected]).Mr.Naem told me that due to some problem he will provide the no on saturday.Since last 4 days I am trying his no but he is not picking up my phone. I am very much disappointing with this kind of service I am tata user of Land line,Mobile and broad band since a long time.Plz solve the issue on priority.

                  Tata Teleservices — Connection not stopped and continuously raising bills

                  Dear Sir/madam

                  I had tata photon plus postpaid connection having account no:[protected] and tata indicom no:[protected] which is from Kolkata circle. In the month of July (dated 16th July 2011) I had submitted the written request to stop the Internet service (CDMA) at Tata Indicom City Center outlet to Mr. Sanjoy (EDP No. 600592) and received the duly signed copy. Mr. Sanjoy said that he has stopped the service but current months bill will be raised for 15 days, your caution money is Rs.200, he said tata indicom will call you to know the reason for stopping service and ask to pay the outstanding bill. You tell him to make up from caution money. I have already paid the Rs.200 extra in the month of July, 2011 along with June month bill due to not having change.
                  But it has not stopped the connection instead of repeated reminder to customer service to disconnect my account and they assured me that it would be disconnected..But every time i got the bill and it got double every month. I was not using the service from July, 2011 on wards as i have already purchased the TATA PHOTON.

                  In the month of October, 2011, they have sent his person to collect the money from my house. I told him that i have already given you the written letter to your employee. (I have the duly signed copy of written letter to disconnect the service)

                  Yesterday (19th December, 2011) I have received the legal notice to pay an amount of Rs.886 within 7 days of receiving.

                  Please check into this matter.

                  Tata Teleservices — TataDocomo prepaid balance depletion

                  I have a tata DoCoMo prepaid connection, and every time Amount is being depleted by Rs.30 every time, In last 2-3 weeks alone it got depleted by Rs.120 and i don't have a record of the previous.

                  Tata Teleservices — Did not deliver Router and Goofed up the billing plan. not refunding my money

                  I have opted for Broadband connection (A/C No- ACC[protected] only because Tata Teleservice executives (Mateen and MUniraju) promised to provide free wi-fi router. As i m already a user of Tata photon since last one year, i wanted to go ahead with this offer so that i can connect my home machine and laptop.

                  It is almost a month since the modem installation was done, I have not received router and above this tatateleservice has also goofed up my billing plan. When i asked for termination of connection (i hv not used this connection at all), they are asking me to refund 1100rs and deduct installation charge.

                  I am not able to uderstand the logic behind itt, as i have not received my equipment so what is point of installation charges. I spoke to almost all of their Point of Contacts from Customer Service to Nodal officer to regional officer, but all in vein.

                  I have applied for TATA Photon + Data card in July 2011 and got it. TATA guys normally says up to 3.1 MBPS speed when i Checked in with the card it was not even 100 kbps ( 0.01 MBPS). I have lodged several complaints and several mails but did not rcvd any resolution on that. My complaint is still active since 7 months. They are telling network outage and etc.. they are also aware of the problem but do not want to rectify it rather than they are generating bill and charging me amount. I have sent lots emails and lots of phones but no one is ready to resolve my problem.

                  REALLY VERY BAD SERVICE.

                  Hi Sir,

                  i purchased tata photon plus on 6th of Aug 2012 and the speed was committed up to 3.1 Mbps and after activation of the device speed was not good it is about 60 kbps which is not good for me. i raise the concern with tatatel on 9th of Aug 2012 but still not getting any resolution. every time when i contact customer service via the toll free number ([protected]) they increase resolution time for next 2 days.

                  first resolution date given to me was[protected], next[protected], next[protected] and today i got message that resolution time for my ticket number[protected] is increased to 2012/08/21 17:18:17

                  sir , as this is hampring my work as work. i don't want such service so need my money back(Rs 1200).

                  Tata Teleservices — Internet services not available for 15 days

                  our Tata teleservices internet connection( Account no :[protected] is down for 15 days. For the past 12 days we have been following up with the customer care centre. They daily tell us that the connection will be restored by the end of the day and a technician will be availble the end of the day.
                  IF they are unable to manage internet connections let them tell upfront that they are not capable to manage it.
                  I have never seen service providers with such lethargy. 15 days to solve a single internet connection is unimaginable.
                  Tata teleservices are just fooling us and making us waste our time and lethargy.
                  Last month we had the same problem when internet was down for 8 days. They have charged the full amount of the rent for the same.

                  Horrible services and equally horrible follow up measures.

If I am not able to make calls even to 59059 from the day I got sim how the hell you expect me to call. Because of your technical problem why I have to suffer.

                    I have a Tata Docomo Connection with me. I have deposited 300 Rs. deposite with them. I was out of country for 3 months and was not able to make the payment. I returned only last week to get a notice from Lokayukta to which the complaint has been lodged by Docomo people. I am very much angered with the step of theirs. I had promised them that i will make the payment of 798 Rs. by this weekend. They have taken a hasty step before that itself. I thought this forum would be appropriate to file a complaint against the company.

                    There is no such instruction that if the person do not make the payment they will file the complaint in Lokayukta. I will take necessary legal action against the company.

                        I had earlier taken up broadband connection via Tata Docomo and after using it for a month with uninterrupted problems (yes, only the problems were consistent, not the service) I went with another provider, compared service at both ends and finally decided against using your services.

                        However, when I try to cancel the connection, I had tried calling your toll free numbers ( I was directed to three other numbers by the executives and finally to a outlet at Shivranjani cross roads, Ahmedabad) & to my astonishment, no one there really knew how to cancel a connection. I was asked to write to [protected]@tatatel.co.in and got response (mail sent on Tue, Jun 18, 2013 at 1:23 PM)

                        I keep receiving bills and further the follow up calls with threats of losing my credit if I do not pay.

                        This is an excellent SCAM/FRAUD/ MALPRACTICE operation you got going. I am sure you people are very proud of your deliberately convoluted mechanism to delay any attempts at cancellations.

                        Kudo's to your brilliant criminal minds at the management of Tata Teleservice Limited.

                        Finally when I had gone to your head office in Gujarat Bhavan, at Ellisbridge, Ahmedabad, and had given a written application seeking cancellation along with all my details, I was told to pay my outstanding in order for the cancellation, (which I had done promptly) & promised that within 9 hours, the cancellation would be done.

                        Its been 4 days and nothing yet. I was not even provided a acknowledgement of my request for cancellation. However I did get an amazing acknowledgement for restoration of services (Dated 6 July 2013). But there is no indication of any cancellation request being processed till date.

                        I am pretty sure that some bully will call me up to ask for payment, I just wanted my account to be closed, I have called all your toll free numbers and I have visited your outlets, been to your offices asking for cancellation of my connections and furthermore given written applications for the same at your Ahmedabad headoffice.

                        Now, I am making sure that every media, consumer complaint organization will know of the issue.

                        I am Sumit Agrawal from Patna, Bihar.
                        I recently bought a brand new Tata Photon + in September 2009. I was fairly impressed with their advertisement which claimed to provide data speed o[censored]pto 1 MBPS on wireless.
                        My problems started right after I purchased the device.
                        First of all, my services were started after 3 days of my paying the complete amount of the bill.
                        Secondly, I was told that there is some problem with my laptop and so I need to format my laptop in order to instal my tata Photon Plus.
                        Believing the company officials, I went through the painful process of formatting the laptop which took me 1 complete day and then installed my Tata Photon Plus.
                        But, to my horror, I was shocked to find that I was getting a very very ordinary Tata Photon plus speed. Maximum of 10 Kbps download speed.
                        I went about to three Tata showrooms to complain about this but they did not respond anything. All they did was to tell me to contact the toll free complain no. which itself is the most pathetic in the world.
                        Its been two months now and I am paying all their bills on time but the speed remains pathetic.
                        I hope that the company responds to this complain asap or the consumer complain court of India responds to this.

                        I bought a TATA landline wireless phone on November, 07 from Rishabh Communication, Shahabad Markanda of Rs. 1,400. When I purchased that phone they told me that they have scheme on the product as we will give a strolley bag and if you will not satisfy with the product and return the phone within 6 months, we will refund Rs. 1,000 to you. In April, 08 we return back the product to the above said Agency. They told me that they will give cheque of Rs. 1000 to me as they get from company as soon as possible and they give me a receipt against the phone set (attached herewith). But till today[protected] I don't get any cheque. I request the company to give my money back as they said to me as early as possible. Because I already wait for a long time and it is not almost 2 years to return the phone set. Please do the necessary as soon as possible.

                        I would like to inform you that i was purchase a tata indicom post-paid mobile connection on 30 march & connection activated in 31 march.
                        My credit limit of connection is Rs-1000/- but in month of 15-April to 14-May, my billing amount was Rs-1280.
                        My outgoing of calls was also closed from 5th may due to over of credit limit.
                        So 28th may I have requested to mobile company for cancel the connection, then mobile company told me pay your bill after that
                        we will close your connection & you do not need to call again.

                        Now I am totally frustrated. Please help me for solving the problem.

                            I have till date not received my bills for the month of Dec 2012, Jan 2013 and Feb 2013. I started a chain of mail communication with [protected]@tatatel.co.in.

                            1. No response from the company to my complaints. Not even a single reply.

                            2. I have made more payment than I am due yet there is no response from the company about my bills.

                            3. I have been charged installation fee when the connection at this location was free. Following are the details:

                            Documents were submitted twice for activation of[protected] customer id.

                            i) Mr. Shafique Patni (#[protected]) under Mr. Ashish Dulani (#[protected]) from Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited, Voltas Premises, T.B. Kadam Marg, Chinchpokli, Mumbai - 400033 took cheque #494599 for installation charges of Rs. 572/- at

                            Building C5 Flat #4, Hermes Heritage Phase II, Yerwada, Shastri Nagar, Pune

                            in Dec/2012 withdrawn on 15/Dec/2012. CAF #[protected] was the application form id #. According to circulars at this location, installation is free. I am looking forward to reimbursement of this amount which is still pending.

                            ii) Mr. Manoj Kumar (#[protected]) then again collected the same documents and my current account was activated. I opted for Rs. 649 plan 512 kbps FUP standalone plan.

                            4. I received threat sms from some employee who did not disclose his identity claiming he was from Tata Tel Legal Department. Once again, I kept receiving threat calls from random numbers stating that a case has been filed against me. On following this up with the customer service, they confirmed that such practices are entertained by the company.

                            I am seeking reimbursements on the grounds of maligning someone's good reputation, emotional trauma and reimbursements still pending with Tata Teleservices. Please take stringent action as the company has not taken this seriously at all till date.

                              TATA TELE SERVICES — TATA Data Card - Usage

                              Hi,

                              I was in need of a net connection as an my business requirement so i had applied for a connection of Tata by proiding all necessary details & documents. I had received the Sim card and it was in activated state. However later on next day without prior notice it was subjected to de-activated state.The next day i had to be online on urgent basis but i couldn't. i followed with the Tata customer care and the person who sold me the connection but no response received .The person who sold me the connection in activated state didn't pick my phone not even replied back to me for any updates, I tried almost 2 days continuosly but he didn't respond. And customer care department told me the reason of deactivation was verification failed for the address given. But the person who sold me the sim ensures me all documents are fine and he made the sim activated also.However i still tried them to contact him for rectification but no response received from any of the Tata customer care person.Later i opted another Company's product as to complete my requirement.

                              Now after 1 onth of this i got a call from Tata customer care department stating that they were not aware about the all stuff etc. And i had also explained them the whole troubles faced because of its deactivation and irresponsive attitide of Customer care peoples and especially the person who sold me the connection. I also stated them i was annoyed of the service and support from Tata and request them to close my connection, i don't want to use it.

                              However the Tata customer care persons normally called me once in month on recurssive basis and i told them so many times i was not using thios connection since the day i was got deactibvated and explained them all stuff. Still no responsive from Tata reflects their honest and customer friendly relation.

                              Its really sad to say but its true a respectful company like Tata done this kind of thing.

                              I am really upset and affected with the Tata services.

                              It looks liket the address verification and deactivation is a common issue. I had the same issue with Airtel. My blackberry and phone got deactivated due to the address verification. I have to wait for two days to get back online.

                                I had a corporate tata photon, now called tata docomo connection (ph no : [protected]) which needed to be disconnected in 2011 , as I did not need it any more and was lying unused for a while though all the payments were being made regularly. So I requested for disconnection. However they told me that I had to pay a final amount, which I paid and then the customer care checked their system and after confirming that there were no outstanding payments, they said that the connection will be disconnected and gave me the acknowledgment number (ref no :[protected] on 30th sep 2011 ) for the same. However I had been been disturbed all the time with calls on payment duemof rs 600 snd so on... now they say that the amount is due for 1490 + 750 legal charges. When all the dues have been closed out and the service disconnected , why would I have to pay more ? These incessant calls continued regularly for a while followed by notices and now a legal notice from an advocate shiva Kumar even after 2 years ! Why should I be tortured by all these and harassed by such notices ??? Just because I took a connection from the tata docomo and that I don't want to use it any more ? Now I just warn all my colleagues of this cheap behaviour and to not get into such a mess , because of the hell one can get into due to disconnection of the same. Please be considerate to the customers and don't take advantage of them. Please can you help to close out on this problem? And i really would appreciate to have reply with a confirmation that i will nor be disturbed by all such harassing mails so that i can be sure that i will Not be in trouble anymore. THEY ASK FOR TAKING ME THE NEW CONNECTION IF I SAY THANK YOU, THEN THEY START ASKING ME THE REFERENCES ETC AND THEY REPEAT IT AS IF ITS THEY ROUTINE JOB TO CALL ME.                                   I had chosen Tata WHIZ PostPaid connection which was unlimited @500/- p.m. with advance payment for Rs. 2999/- for 6 months on 31.07.2011 and my link was started on 03.08.2011 (no.[protected]). After 5 months, Tatatele Executive called me up on 21.12.2011 to upgrade the existing connection Whiz to Photon+ for Rs.1000/- on advance payment which will be adjusted next 10 months @100/-p.m. I asked for my current advance payment (Rs.2999/- for 6 months) which would be completed in Jan2012 end but she told me that my current plan would not be effected and after completion of my current plan new bill would be generated / started with @100/- p.m. adjustment but in Feb2012 they claimed 575/- for Jan2012. I had complained through Customer Care but they told to pay the due immediately. I requested to lodge my complaint but in Feb 12 my link had been terminated. I wanted to know why Executive made me fool but nobody accepted my complaints. I had forwarded e-mails to Company Executive Mr. Jogesh Nair and complaint cell but no reply had been received till date except reference numbers. In May2012 I had received a phone call from Tatatele Executive named Mr. Rohit and he told me to pay the dues immediately. I told him full story and requested to adjust Rs.1000/- which I had paid for upgradation. After so many conversations he agreed and after calculation he told me to pay for Rs.25/- for final adjustment. On 23 May 12 I paid online Rs.25/- and I requested through email to close my account finally. After one year later some men are threatening me through phone call to pay Rs.1400/- (approx) immediately otherwise court case would be done against me. I could not understand as to how my complaints were not attended and why this matter had not been closed. Now I am requesting to check my complaints and take necessary action to solve this kind of harassment.

                                    I got a phone call from a lady (her no. [protected]) today at 11 AM telling that she is calling from High Court, New Delhi and there is a case registered in my name regarding forgery, transactional fraud, cheating, high money laundering and cheque bounce. And I was supposed to be in the court today else I'll be prosecuted and sent to jail by High Court. I was shocked and scared on knowing all this. I asked her that I didn't get any notice on anything on which she said, notice was sent to you but was returned due to unavailability. I quickly asked her to tell me as who has registered the case on me, on which she said she cannot tell me the other party name as the file is sealed but can give you the advocate number and the case file number. I asked for the details and she told me that she will call me 20 minutes later till she will hold the case file to pass over to the Magistrate.

                                    She gave me the details:

                                    I called on the number given and below is the conversation which happened between him and myself.

                                    Arjun Singh: Hello
                                    Me: Hello, sir, I want to know the details of a case 104/13.
                                    Arjun Singh: Why are you asking the details on phone from me, you should be present here in court today.
                                    Me: On what basis sir, I haven't even received any notice yet. And I even don't know what is the case and who did it on me?
                                    Arjun Singh: Notice must have been sent to you but you would have ignored and now it will be very difficult for you. Let me check the case for you. Please tell me the case number again.
                                    Me: Sir, its 104/13.
                                    Arjun Singh: 104/13, ok let me check it in the system. Oh! it is a case of fraud with TTSL.
                                    Me: Sir, TTSL? Who's that?
                                    Arjun Singh: You don't know TTSL? Tata Teleservices Ltd. You used a phone of TTSL 5 years back and didn't pay Rs. 856. It is still pending and I'm their legal counsel and on their behalf, I've filled these cases on you.
                                    Me: I have no pending payments to TTSL as far as I know.
                                    Arjun Singh: If you have receipts, you have to produce them in court today else we might have to take strict action on you.
                                    Me: I cannot come to New Delhi High Court today as I'm in Amritsar right now.
                                    Arjun Singh: No problem, you can deposit Rs. 5000 in our account and we will take a date on your behalf and close the case.
                                    Me: Send me the notice and I'll revert back with my lawyer. And till then stop making fool of innocent people. You'll get punished for doing these kinds of misleading acts.

                                    And I disconnected. Again he called up.

                                    Arjun Singh: Saale fraud, do kori ke insaan, paise hote nahi tumhare pass, dekh kaise teri marta hoo?
                                    Me: Notice bhej and don't call again, phir main bhi dekh loonga .

                                    I disconnected. And since then he's continuously called me till next four hours, I got around 50 calls on my number, few I picked on which he was continually abusing me. I got so much depressed and scared that I cannot do anything whole day of the scare.

                                    I want to take strict legal action, please advise.

                                        Approximately 6 months back I have subscribed to Tata - docomo unlimited plan which is Rs. 899/- with 2G Internet pack. My subscribed number was[protected]. I have received first month bill amount as Rs. 3199/-. After receiving the bill, I called Tata customer care and asked for the split-up and bill details. They have replied that around INR 2000 was due to data usage and 1000 for voice usage. I also replied them saying I have NOT done date usage more than two days and how is it possible to get the huge amount. They replied tha they will clarify on this issue. I have NOT got any response from Tata Teleservice after that. And after 2 months I received the post card saying that I need to pay bill amount of Rs. 8222/- and when asked for the clarification and following up through emails, they asked me to settle the amount of Rs. 2419/-. I again replied them in the mail asking for clarification on my usage for Rs. 2419 and I was NOT having any response from them.
                                        Just two days back I got notice from advocate stating that I need to present in Alandur court on April 30 2013 for the final settlement in mutual concern. After receiving this notice, again I sent a mail to earlier(same) mail thread and after several conversation they are asking me to pay Rs. 4111/- as my final settlement. Can you please help me in getting proper justice in this case.

                                        Two days back I asked mohan the details on my bill amount. He informed me that only due to my usage the amount came around Rs.8222/-. Later I pointed out that Bhranaitharan sent me a mail of settlement amount of Rs. 2419/- one month back and to the same mail I have asked for clarification on my data usage. Mohan informed me that he does NOT know how bhranitharan arrived to the amount Rs.2419/- and also he said he will cross verify that bill and get me back.



                                        Again he called me back and asked me how much I can pay finally. I replied saying I am ready to pay what ever I am used and also he told me that my connection was active for 2 months and then I promised him to pay Rs. 2020/- for two months usage. But I have NOT used the connection after receiving the first month bill and also I have NOT availed said data usage.



                                        Finally today he called and said that he spoke with you and you asked to waive 50% of total amount (Rs. 8222/-). This is what happened so far. Please let me know for any clarification.

                                        Sorry for the delayed reply. Somehow I missed this mail.

















                                        As mentioned earlier, I was using for only one month and have NOT utilised any data value. I was in unlimited scheme for voice and to maximum my amount will be Rs.1000 inclusive of tax. I really dont understand how you ended with the amount of Rs. 8222/- and then my final settlement to Rs. 2419/- I need more clarity on my due amount. Please clarify.

                                        TATA TeleServices — Charging more bill bill amount than extra.

                                        I was using a Tata Mobile connection number [protected], in jan 2009 i have stopped using this munber and also informed that iam not using this number please dont send any bill what they did is they havent stopped sending thier bill and added two months rental,

                                        Now they want me to pay the whole amont that is off 1600 and actual is 600, so they started harassing my and my relatives that we are calling from thees hajari court pay the bill.
                                        the same problem i hv also faced for airtel. any help appreciate.
