MY PAN DETAILS WITH INCOME TAX DEPT
I WANT TO REGISTER MYSELF AT INCOMETAXINDIAEFILLING.CO.IN SITE. BUT THE FORM ASKS FOR MY SURNAME AND DATE OF BIRTH. WHEN I GIVE MY SURNAME AND CORRECT DATE OF BIRTH AND PAN NUMBER IT GIVES ME A WRONG NAME ERROR. HOW DO I KNOW MY PAN DETAILS LIKE MY SURNAME SO THAT I COULD REGISTER AND FILL MY RETURNS ONLINE?

Hello Sir/Mam,

My PAN # is AHZPR4587K. I could not able to file my Income tax through Internet, as PAN number is not getting identified. There may be spell mistake in Surname in the data, because of which I am not able to log in. It will be very helpfull if you can let me know the surname in my PAN card details OR the source we can find the details

call to the TIN call centre and provide your pan number, they will inform you the sur name as per the records.

pan card details — Surname in PAN details

While trying to get registered for e-filing, I have been asked for my surname. Usually I am not using my surname, I don't remember whether I have written my surname in the PAN application, if so how can I find out the same.
