[Resolved]  Times Of India — Problem in transferring annual subscription to new Address

We have been regular subscribers of Times of India news paper. At December end, we shifted from bandra to borivali. Hence we wanted the subscription to get transfer to new location. After contacting TOI marketing agen t who collects the cheque, we came to know that we have to contact TOI helpline. On January 5 2010, called TOI office to put transfer request. After 2-3 follow ups the officer person confirmed that scheme has been transferred. When i contacted local vendor in borivali, he informed that transfer is lengthy process and will take more time and he can not accept the Subscriber's coupon which we are having. Moreover the local TOI agent could not assure us that coupons which we are having will be utilized by new vendor. In fact local agent stated that, the news papers are still being transferred to old agent. hence despite making payment in advance, we have to still keep in paying to new vendor.
I have following queries:
1. What action TOI is going take so that we, the customers who have already made payment for the services actually get the service without any problem
Currently we are having 2 months valid coupons i,e 16 Feb - 15 Mar and 16- Mar - 15 April 2010. If the papers are not delivered to us, then who is getting benefitted ?
2.What will the validity and significant of the coupons which we are having currently ? Why is TOI local agent not able to assure local vendor about payment ?
Its ridiculous that because of inproficient agent a customer has to suffer
3. Why the process of transferring scheme is not transparent to any of the party involved in entire supply chain ? (each one keeps pointing finger's to others which is absolutely unprofessional & irritating)
4. why transfer process is quick? we could easily do other formalities like telephone connection, gas connection etc, then what is big deal about newspaper ?
