[Resolved] Titan Eye+ — Cold Customer Management | |||
I have been staying in Bangalore since 5 years and is happy with the service my optometrist has been providing me since then. However this time lured by the swanky looks of Titan Eye+ stores decided to take a chance with them. I bought my frame from them in 2009. Last month my spectacle glasses broke accidentally and hence visited Titan Eye+ store located on New Bel Road, Bangalore on Mar 18, 2011 and placed the order for 1.9 index glass as my number is very high. On visiting the store Mr Nasir Ahmed said they required 10 days and I obliged despite knowing that outside vendors take only about 4 days every time. However I clearly stated the urgency and problem I could undergo if they delay more for which they committed 10 days. But Since 11th day till 14th day, which is today I have made numerous calls asking for status but have always got an answer that it has been dispatched from Delhi and it is due to reach them. And speaking to store manager Mr Prasad also didn't help at all as he comfortably put the blame on first courier, then their vendor etc insensitively thus asking me to wait. Only when I completely lost my patience I asked for a refund and Prasad and Nasir Ahmed agreed to do so. Reason of writing this post here is to make future buyers aware of this issue with Titan Eye+ considering how troublesome it could turn out to be for us glass wearers. I genuinely hope Titan Eye+ management pays heed to this and equips its personnel with adequate training on sensitivity and also ensures proper commitments are made.
