[Resolved] Tradus — Defective pen drive | |||
Do not shop with tradus, they sell defective products I ordered for a 4GB sandisk pendrive from tradus.in and received the same within 3 days from the date of purchase however for my surprise the pen drive does not works, i tried copying files it shows an error '' disc is write protected'' and when i try to format the same i get an error ''format was unsuccessful''. I sent a mail to them on saturday[protected] and till monday i received no reply from them, i called the customer care on[protected], the rep told me they will call me back within an hour, i received a call and they gave me an option to get the device replaced , I wanted refund , they were forcing me to go for replacement after lot of hesitation the rep agreed for refund however he said that i will have to wait for 15 days for refund... Tradus sends a defective product at first place and wants customers to wait for 15 days to get a refund?? is this fair. Was this information helpful? | |||

I also bought this same pen drive but it reached a little late 4 days, which is why i was present at consumercomplaints..but it works absolutely fine for me..may be you had a bad luck

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
However, we would like to inform that the product (Sandisk 4GB Cruzer Blade) was sealed pack and had a 1 year's manufacturer's warranty on it. Therefore, in case you receive a defective product, you are requested to take it up with the manufacturer directly since it has been directly procured from the brand/ company.
Since you don't want a replacement for the same, we will get it picked up and send back to the seller for testing. If it's defective, then the necessary action would be taken. Please ensure that you send back the product in it's original packaging.

I am not sending the product back instead i would keep it and take this matter to consumer forum, you cant cheat and harass customers . I am not ready to send the product back and you people take your time to refund .

This is to inform that we have received an empty packet and there was no pendrive in it.
Therefore, we can not process a refund against the Order id 1019233 but we can issue you a voucher for the product price ie.Rs.399, so that you can go to our website and purchase the product again.
