Cooking Gas refill - Unresolved
I am a senior citizen (68 yrs), trying to get refill gas cylinder for 2 months. After making the initial booking 2 months ago (April'12) i was informed my refill request was not processed. So, i went personally to TUCS Alandur, to re-book on 18th May'12. I was told my account was blocked but no reason was given.
I've been having this account since 1986-87. No one was able to give me a proper valid reason as to why my account was blocked, but they wanted a no: of papers to be submitted. I went and met people at IOC Teynampet-consumer care where i was told to produce affidavit. I did that too as requested. On 6th Jun'12 I submitted affidavit, ration card photo copy, refill voucher receipt,Domestic Gas customer card photo copy and then i was told that the blocked booking service would be released. however, nothing happened!
I've been going to the TUCS office everyday to confirm if my blocked account has been released but it hasn't been released till date (9th June'12).Whenever i ask them they tell me it's been released and to try after 24 hrs, but absolutely nothing is happening.
It is extremely frustrating and difficult at my age to keep going to and fro to get this simple matter resolved. I want to know why my account was blocked in the first place and to release the blocking at the earliest.
