[Resolved]  Unknown — Collected Garbage Put on Fire

To whom so Ever it may concern:

I Harish, Residing at #87,4th Cross Teachers Colony 1st stage, Jp-Nagar Post Bangalore -78. From quite some time I have been noticing that, the garbage collected by sweepers is not been handled properly. Most part of the garbage collected contains “Biodegradable” wastes like dry leaf and paper. They pile up all these wastes in one place and put them on FIRE. As a result of this whole area is covered with thick poisonous smoke, this is leading to early morning suffocation. This problem is not limited to only my area; I have seen this happening in most places of Bangalore. I don’t blame these sweepers for such un-appropriate action, because nether they have the knowledge of consequences nor they have any other option. They are just doing what they have been instructed to do.
As it is there is so much air pollution everywhere which is unavoidable, At least some one can educate these sweepers not do so and designate a separate place to dump such biodegradable wastes so that it can be used for agricultural purpose.

Please take some action.
