[Resolved] Uti Ulip — Issue of duplicate cheque | |||
My ULIP Investor ID No:[protected].After maturity o[censored]nits, a cheque No:077448 dated[protected] was issued for Rs.1,56,570-92 towards redemption value. The cheque was deposited in Andhra Bank, B.N.Reddy Nagar Branch, Hyderabad on[protected]. But the Bank authorities informed on[protected] that the cheque was misplaced in their clearing section and hence advised me to obtain a duplicate cheque. I approached UTI Office at Tilak Road, Abids and submitted application along with Indemnity Bond and banker's letter and requested to issue a duplicate cheque, vide my application dated[protected] and obtained acknowledgement from UTI Office. On enquiry on[protected] the Karvy office says that they have not received my papers for issue of duplicate cheque and UTI office says that they have sent the papers to Karvy on 1-4-2010. For one reason or other I was put to financial loss since last two months. I request both UTI and Karvy officials to verify the records and traceout my papers and take immediate steps to issue duplicate cheque in place of original cheque misplaced by Andhra Bank officials.
