[Resolved]  Videocon AC — Not effective

Sir,

I would like to furnish the following information for your kind information and favorable orders.

My mother, V. Sasikala, 64-year-old lady suffering from diabetics, heart problems, and liver problems for quite a long time. She was advised by the doctor not to stay in hot weather, which will aggravate her health condition. With great difficulty she bought Videocon AC last year that is 18/03/2009 from Saravana and Company at West Mambalam, Chennai 33 with her pension money. At the beginning the cooling was good. But after that there is no cooling. Now it is working just like a fan. No effect at all. After repeated reminders to your service center at the toll free number no body turned up. A service person who is attached to that shop (he told me he is posted to take care of your products) after repeated remainders made by many family members in the month of May, which is very hot in Chennai, did not turn up. Again after patient and repeated remainders he turned up in June and did something, but all in vain. No effect is there.

Now the poor lady is so much worried. She is thinking whether to spend her money in buying her life saving medicines or to spend in getting this AC repaired which is just one year old. She is so helpless and yelling at her children for buying this AC and she saying could have bought some other AC which will not have such problems (she has inquired with neighbours about other company ACs).

Hence Sir, I would request you to kindly look into this problem and help that lady to stay comfortable.
