I have purchased Videocon D2H product from Vera Electronics, Aundh, Pune on 3rd Jan 2010. I was informed that it will be free for initial four months and it would be installed free of cost by the company. The shop owner didn’t inform me that company would provide only 15 meters of cable and if we consume more than that in that case I will have to pay.
After 3 days follow-up, engineer come on 6th Jan 2010 for installation and he did installation and informed me that he has consume 30 meters of cable and he requested me to write this on the form as he has to give this data in his office. I had written this information on the form as per his request.
After three months, I got a message from customer care that my balance is low and I need to recharge. I asked them that if my product is free for four months, then how do I need to pay in the third month. On that they replied that they have deducted some amount from my account as we have used extra cable. I have raised a complaint (Comp # 12202182) for the same and they closed this complete without informing me.
My concern is:
1. Dealer hides most of the term and condition while selling the product.
2. The company is not taking the responsibility or investigating the complaint.
3. I need my deducted amount back as It is a mistake of Dealer and Installation Engineer.
The Videocon D2H’s customer care representative (Mr. Sagar) told me that he will discuss this with his senior and after a long hold he just informed me that they can’t do any thing on this and he disconnected the call.
I’m very much frustrated by the services provided by the well-known company called VIDEOCON.
