[Resolved]  Videocon D2H — Balance deducted from account

Hi,

I have purchased Videocon D2H product from Vera Electronics, Aundh, Pune on 3rd Jan 2010. I was informed that it will be free for initial four months and it would be installed free of cost by the company. The shop owner didn’t inform me that company would provide only 15 meters of cable and if we consume more than that in that case I will have to pay.

After 3 days follow-up, engineer come on 6th Jan 2010 for installation and he did installation and informed me that he has consume 30 meters of cable and he requested me to write this on the form as he has to give this data in his office. I had written this information on the form as per his request.

After three months, I got a message from customer care that my balance is low and I need to recharge. I asked them that if my product is free for four months, then how do I need to pay in the third month. On that they replied that they have deducted some amount from my account as we have used extra cable. I have raised a complaint (Comp #[protected] for the same and they closed this complete without informing me.

My concern is:
1. Dealer hides most of the term and condition while selling the product.
2. The company is not taking the responsibility or investigating the complaint.
3. I need my deducted amount back as It is a mistake of Dealer and Installation Engineer.

The Videocon D2H’s customer care representative (Mr. Sagar) told me that he will discuss this with his senior and after a long hold he just informed me that they can’t do any thing on this and he disconnected the call.

I’m very much frustrated by the services provided by the well-known company called VIDEOCON.

My customer id is 3042663 and complaint # is 12202182. Please look into this matter.

How to check D2H A/c Balance amount.
I have registered a complaint with Videocon D2H to stop my account for the period of one month due to construction work I will not be able to use the services. As I have balane in my account I called there and Customer care executieve told me that "your account will be in Safe Custody from 2nd Feb 2010 and your amount will not be deductieod for the period of one month". But it is still getting deducted from my account and around 20 rupees was deducted.

Could anyone pleae help on this.
since february 22nd my d2h services are blocked, have recharged with 300 rupees but till today no response, tired calling customer care but no response, they told me to email my atm slip and my slip from where i have recharged had already done that. my bank account is already cut 300 rupees for videocon d2h service.

dnt buy videocon d2h.

I too have faced a similar problem where there was 2 forceful debit out of which 1 was reversed and other similar was not reversed, its really shocking and sad to see so called Indian MNC do not live up to the customer expectation.

i have inqueir 4 times for shifting of videocon d2h every time i get the different answer from executive, some says 300, some says 500, hight is that some one says 900 for shifting. what the hell they r taking man.

they send the SMS that we provide next connection in 899, then why should i pay 800 for shifting if i am getting new connection in 899 with free installation and one month free subscription.

My opinion to all viewers dont go for videocon D2H.

I believe this is company's strategy as the same has happened with me. I got videocon d2h installed last week and the guy who installed it did not inform me that cable beyond 15 mts is chargeable. The smart guy left around 10 mts of extra wire around the dish antenna without informing me. This wire was of no use for me and even I was not aware of this. I came to know about this when I saw my balance reduced by some Rs200 immediately. I called up the customer care and got to know that 32 mts of wire was used while only 18 mts of wire was actually required.
I made a complaint which was attended but I could not do anything about it as the procedure told me to get the refund was too cumbersome.
I strongly feel that this is company's strategy to get extra revenue by taking this kind of advantage. I am so disappointed that on the very first day I had an issue with these people.
